👍👍 Really enjoyable. Was afraid to order too much. I don't like to waste. It was all PHENOMINAL. I didn't get to try the hot plate thing, but it was still really fantastic. The atmosphere & staff are lovely enough. The presentation of the food was fun & pleasant. People often mention order, sushi, menu, good, time, home, service, wanted, price, delicious,

Love love love it. Our waiter was so nice. We didn't catch his name but he was very friendly, explain dishes well and always checking up on us. Thank you for serving us with gratitude. Prices were very low compare to our Chicago prices.

My wife and I went here for a midweek dinner. We both had the all you can eat sushi menu, which is 26.99 at the time of this review. Which was 100% worth the price. The sushi was so fresh and delicious and the appetizers were delivered hot and delicious. One of the best cheese Rangoons we have ever had. They have a deal where you can get a bottle of blue moon everyday of the week for two dollars, great deal that I had to partake in. My wife had a cosmo, which was crisp and strong as she liked. The server was very attentive and I appreciate how much they were doing and still pleasant to every table. There is something for everyone here and I will definitely be returning for their hot pot menu :)

Was told no bar seating for me (bar was empty but filled with their paperwork. Sushi bar had trays on it. and didn’t get happy hour pricing as advertised. Docking one star. Server was extremely polite and checked back often. I was in the last booth in the back. Overall I will come back. My roll was very good and my fried squid had already been eaten off of my myself. It came with six pieces. The scallops weren’t spicy at all but they maintained heat. Would love bar seating and better bar options in the future.

The sushi was pretty good. Our waitress barely said anything to us and definitely did not warn us about their take home fees until she sent the manager over to explain that every piece of sushi we had already ordered was going to cost $1 each to take home. This turned in to an overpriced meal and we will avoid this location moving forward. TLDR : better not ask for a to go box

Best sushi for the price. I would have expected to pay 40-50 dollars for the quality of food I received it it was half that. Great price! And good food.

Went to go try hotpot for the 1st time. And let me say our experience was phenomenal. Being hotpot noobies our waiter showed us what we needed to do to get started. Gave us many different options and suggestions on how to order. Heck they even brought us over some house made sauces. All in all this was a great experience and looking forward to our next nite out.

I ordered takeout sushi and soup which took around 25 minutes to prepare after I placed the order. The sushi and miso soup were reasonably priced and both tasted really good. Kintaro's offers lots of variety specialty rolls and I really enjoyed their friendly service. The bill was around $55 and they offer lots of napkins and flatware to help you enjoy your meal.

Very unfriendly staff. No communication or friendliness at all. It’s too bad because the food is decent and reasonable. There’s no sashimi and a threatening note if you waste the rice.

We went to all you can eat sushi for lunch. They give you an order sheet, and you mark what you want. There's sushi rolls, hand rolled, as well as hibachi, apps, and soup. I love sushi and thought I could eat three rolls. I was uncomfortably stuffed. I would go and do it all again.

So I have a dietary restriction and have a medical card that states so. Normally it allows me to get the children's menu with no problem. Here they refused okay no issue. But then there was nothing I really wanted because everything was too expensive for the amount of food I would eat. To be honest normally I order a full meal but here if you take food home it's $10 and some odd change to take home extra food. Which is something I was not willing to pay. My group asked multiple times to explain how the service here worked. We've been to multiple hot pots and this was nothing like any place we had ever been. They just kept saying there's the menu just do it. Finally we pulled someone aside that was not taking care of us and they explained it to us. It is kind of confusing as they have multiple things going on. Once he took the time to explain it to us it did make sense. So I only ordered one thing so to critique the food is not really fair. For what I did eat was good. To be fair for as little as I did eat of my other food they definitely would have made their moneys worth letting me order the all you can eat kids portion. My group said their food was okay nothing special. The waiter knew of my dietary restriction once I told told them and said no problem was really nice. But once he took it to the manager he said absolutely not. He was always fast and quick and got the rest of our group their food. The atmosphere was good however there was a little fight between the people next to us and the manager when they wanted to take their food home and he said he had to charge them. They must have gotten the all you can eat and they had less than a full sushi roll and he wanted to charge them. But besides that it was okay. It was clean it did take them sometime to empty the tables though. As a group we did say we will not be going back here.

I have been coming here since you opened. I ordered delivery for vegetable hibachi today. It's the saddest vegetable hibachi I've ever gotten from you. I'm so disappointed. I looked through the entire dish. One slice of carrot, three slivers of broccoli, three pieces of mushroom. I did not order zucchini hibachi, I ordered vegetable hibachi. I don't even want to finish my food, I'm so disappointed and kind of repulsed at the amount of zucchini.

Husband and I both had the all you can eat hot pot and it was DISGUSTING! I got the chicken broth with rice noodles, lamb, chicken, 2 different kinds of mushrooms, cabbage, shrimp, crab sticks and bean sprouts. I wish I could put into words how bad this food was but I’ve never heard a word that comes close. Our friends told us the sushi is delicious, wish we would’ve just gotten that instead.

Delicious Sushi. They time it so that you get full, 30 minutes from menu turn in to roll time. Reasonable staff and great customer service! Will definitely be back!

Food made me sick. I threw it up when I got home. Super weird experience. I went with a friend for a birthday dinner with her family. We had reservations for 5 p.m. on Sunday. When we arrived they were trying to harass us about what we were going to order. None of us had even looked at the menu and didn't know what we wanted to order. We wanted to sit down and take a look at the menu first not order while standing at the door wearing jackets and not relaxed. I have never been to a restaurant that tried to harass us for our order before sitting us down and letting us look at a menu. Apparently they have three menus, I only saw two. A menu for the Hot pot, a menu for the paid menu and a menu for the all you can eat buffet style. No one took the time to explain the difference between all three menus to us. Our entire party probably sat at the table arguing for an hour before we knew what to do with the menu because no one explained ANYTHING to us at all. I guess they wanted a headcount of how many of us were going to be eating all you could eat and how many of us were going to eat off the paid menu but nobody knew what we wanted to do until we actually looked at a menu. Then the food I did order made me completely sick. I got the crab tempura and a Boston sushi roll. I thought it seemed odd that my sushi roll seemed warm and not cold. About an hour after arriving home I got so sick that I was forced to vomit the food I consumed. Total waste of money. The only thing enjoyable about my evening here was spending time with my friend for her birthday. Use extra caution before dining here.

Incredible food and great service. The sushi rolls were amazing! Highly recommend!! Just be careful to order slowly at the all you can eat buffet!

We've a good experience here! Good food, good price for lunch. Just make sure to order just you wanna eat, because they charge for the food you leave. But I totally agree with that!! I really recommend it.

Food was delicious! We came at 9pm and they close at 9:30 but kitchen closes at 9… and we didn’t know that. But they still say us down and told us if we order quickly they’ll make it for us. And when the food came out it was incredible and delicious. Even though everyone was tired they still served us with a smile! Definitely recommend this place to anyone

An elevated dining experience, whether one orders the all you can eat sushi or the Hot Pot with the latter being a far more entertaining and flavorful experience. No one goes to a restaurant to cook their own food, but at Kintaro, you look forward to it. Service is quick and efficient. The spicy broth is the one to go for as it makes all ingredients cooked in it infinitely better. Prices are high but worth it.

I like eating the all you can eat- hot pot at kintaro and I am a huge fan of their spicy schezwan soup base. We like to order ours super spicy. We order the seafood and lamb, beef, pork. We also get a variety of vegetables as well. Pretty fun for the whole family! Don’t forget the sauce bar - here’s our combo in the picture with the sesame paste, hot sauce, cilantro, scallions, soy sauce and garlic! We love to accompany our food with the imported beer like Tsing Tao or Sapporo beer! Their pot of hot oolong tea is terrific and hydrating.
