We came on a Sunday night when the Istanbul traffic was mellowed and the crowds were nowhere to be seen. The cafe had a nice ambience and the centerpiece was definitely the dark maroon coloured La Marzocco which brewed a delicious cup of Latte for me. Thank you to the Barista too and the waiter for the friendly service! Highly recommended!

In this place you can try popular kind such as americano, latte, espresso, mocca and traditional Turkish coffee, for example damla sakızı, dibek kahvesi. Also you can order some special kind of coffee depending on day, for example, Turkish coffee with cardamon. This place popular among students and tourists, because Coffee Gutta is situated in very good location, nearby Süleymaniye Mosque and İstanbul University. This coffee shop has a three floors, so it's a lot space for visitors. You can spend time inside in caffe or take coffee to go.

Really good place to take a break from exploring the city. the staff is really friendly. The coffee is brilliant! We had the Turkish coffee (both the black classical coffee and then variants with pista and spices). We enjoyed all of it. Highly recommended!

I got a good service there. Nice place to take a rest while you're making a tour in istanbul. When you see it from out side you will think that's a small place but actually they have a big garden inside you can set and take you coffee or tea or whatever you want joining the music and the sun. Very helpful and decent staff. Just when you're deciding to visit the Süleymaniye mosque you can find it in the left hand side on your way to the mosque. Good prices. There is a small library inside. Enjoy your time.

Unbelievable experience, grand mother and daughter are baristas, always in friendly mood always with a smile. Coffee is excellently roasted, so well prepared. Was coming every morning for a cup of espresso to start my day ...

Perfect ambience to relax after a day of walking in the city. We had great service from a Pakistani waiter (Ali) too, relevant especially for people who would like to converse in traditional Urdu. The coffee and dessert (attached) should definitely be tried.

Came here to eat breakfast. Sandviches sucks. Cheezcakes are normal. Coffee is very good, but a little bit small.

Natalya’s passion is cafes and in the interests of balance, our next stop was a proper cafe that she’d researched. Called Coffee Gutta it was quite a trek away, about 30 minutes north west but it was meant to be a lovely speciality place, so off we trotted. There was a large menu and my coffee was fine (but what do I know!) although Natalya wasn’t impressed with either the staff knowledge or the coffee she had so that was a bit of a let down. The place was busy though and nice inside so they were obviously doing something right and prices were good.

Ordered americano coffee it was good, we sat in the back in the open, tables were rocking and wasn't that tidy. Overall not a bad place.

It's a great place to study especially if you're a student at the Istanbul university, it's literally right next to it.
