Chef Burak's food is delicious and worth the long journey to reach. The ambiance of the restaurant and the service was great, I really liked it. They have a happy and smiling face and this is a beautiful thing.....❤ ..........my birthday 😊

Excellent food, best taste I had in my 10 days trip all over turkey. Very fast service. Marvellous presentation of dishes. Huge quantity of food. Bread is free. Rice had dry fruits abd raisins in it. I would highly recommend this restaurant. They charge service fee of 10% so no need to give tip. Prices are higher than other restaurants but trust me it is worth every lira.

This restaurant has been an absolute experience. From the staff spreading good vibes all the time to the sensational food which tasted absolutely fantastic. We had Begendili Kebap (Aubergine Puree With Meat) and a mixed meat plate. The begendili kebab was absolute amazing. I can absolutely recommend. The meat was perfect and the puree was so tasty. Prices are quite high but it is absolutely worth it.

Great quality food, well seasoned and the restaurant is very tasteful. Service was good, bathrooms clean and good prices compared to the states. Can’t wait to go again.

The best restaurant I have ever been to! Unique, delicious and delicious 🤤 very oriental and the atmosphere there was fantastic with the turkey music 🎶 Staff was responding quickly and friendly. Almost all the time crowded and full. Wheelchair accessible. Can be accessed with the public transportation.

I rediscovered Turkish food! Lamb, humus, aubergine all had an amazing flavor and a superb taste. The staff were friendly and the service was very fast. Mind this is a local restaurant so there are no alcoholic drinks. Some specialties are a bit pricey, but definitely worth trying and also came with a nice show.. And by all means, make sure to have aubergine 🍆

Visiting Turkey is something however, visiting and eating from Al Madina Restaurant is adding a really special taste to your visit. When we came across this restaurant we were shocked that we found it nearby where we stayed. We have ordered the a really tasty rice and meat and for dessert we had kunafa. This must be in your bucket list while visiting Turkey!

Coming to this restaurant you have to expect that you’re coming in for a show (good vibes and they try to make a show with the food you order and there is a drummer inside that will come and drum for you; ofcourse will ask you to tip him and won’t leave until you give him some money lol) but if you want a really good and tasty meal there definitely a lot of better places for much cheaper prices. I recommend because they do put on a good show

Accidentally saw this restaurant and went to eat with my wife and daughter we're first time in Istanbul. Food was delicious, especially lamb. Staff good, good service, prices are not so bad.

Being from Egypt we are used to the types of food and spices. It was good, nothing bad but Burak was not here which we were hoping to see!

kebabs were flavorful, juicy and tender. Some of the best kebabs in Istanbul! However, the lamb chops were extremely disappointing and rock-solid, capable of causing strong head injuries if used as a weapon.

The food was not as good as we thought it would be, it ended up being pretty standard. The staff on the other hand is extremely helpful and attentionate. There are definitely better restaurants with a better value in istanbul. The chicken kebab did not feel like chicken at all.

This was on my list for quite some time as it's a well known restaurant that was meant to be a world renowned experience. Left a little disappointed. The menu was good, a little more basic than expected but still had a good choice of Turkish and surrounding food with decent pricing. Interior of the restaurant wasn't anything special with an outdated style of golf and cream giving it a cheap feel compared to another restaurant we visited the night before. The staff were great at service, but when we ordered they had bought a selection of small starters which we didn't know we were paying for, we chose a random three and found out at the end that it was charged. Food didn't take too long to come. And the main I ordered was mostly good with the meat cooked to my liking. I started questioning the pricing however since it did seem overpriced for what we had. Plus they charge a high service charge! Overall not recommended for the food.

The food was great and portions were generous. The mixed mashawy for 4 was plenty for the 6 of us, the tabouleh was extremely fresh and all the dishes were great. The restaurant is on the pricier side and the waiters weren’t the nicest but I’d still definitely recommend it for the food.

I have been to this restaurant multiple times throughout the last 3 years. But since 2022, the quality of food has severely decreased and so has the quantity. However, the prices have significantly increased. Will not again. Better places with authentic food around this restaurant.

I have been to this restaurant twice. Once in 2021, the second time yesterday. First time I actually enjoyed my lunch and the pricing was decent. However, yesterday's meal was really disappointing. Upon entering, the place looked quite empty, which surprised me a lot as last time I went, it was really busy. I should have probably taken that as a cue as the food was below average. I think the service and quality of food must have changed as it doesn't seem to be one of CZN Burak's restaurants anymore. There was no sign of him, whereas last time the walls were full of his pictures and there used to be a billboard shaped like Burak just in front of the entrance. Prices have also increased by a lot but the food is not worth paying that much for.

The food here was not good and the sevice was the not the best. I have been to this restaurant about a year and a half ago and it was very good, but now it is terrible. None of the food was tasty, and a lot of it did not even taste as if it was freshly made. The food looked nothing like in the pictures which was very dissappointing. I believe the pictures have been edited as it looked so different. I also must mention that the food was extremely overpriced for what we paid for: 3000TL for 4 people! I do not recommend this restaurant at all and I think anyone is better off eating anything else.

The food is very tasty and it is good quality. The only downside side is that it is relatively more expensive and therefore more commercial and touristic vs other more authentic places. But overall very good food!

We also got the lamb Behnel (I can’t exactly remember how it’s spelt)! They put on a show but be prepared to tip the man who plays the drum… they will be expecting it and will even ask you to tip. Food was fantastic regardless.

I like this place. Very tasty food with huge variety menu. Good for all types of people name it a group of friends or a couple or big families. Prices are higher than average restaurant in Istanbul but you pay for a quality and taste that deserves the extra charge. If you are lucky you may meet Chef Burak and take a picture with him. Simply, it’s a place that I must visit whenever I come to Istanbul.

I would rate the staff even more than the food itself! Althouth the food was very well cooked and delicious but it was not extraordinary. As expected, chef Burak was not present but the staff did amazing job welcoming us and taking care of our questions. With a one-year old kid, we made lots of mess but it was well understood. The meat was a bit on the oily side but this is just the nature of how it is being cooked and cannot be a negative thing.

Expensive, but worth the price. The humus was the best I've ever had.

We tried the mumbar which I highly recommend you to try. Also we had the chicken cooked in salt and he theater that comes with its service is very entertaining.

We liked the food very much. It was very delicious and good quality. Also the restaurant looks really nice with all the pictures on the wall of people who came to eat there.

It way my first restaurant to try in Istanbul @ my first day arrival! What a friendly & helpful the guys their, the service is excellent! The atmosphere is really sparking as I was having my meal there were 2 occasions where the staff served a specific meal for some customers along with chanting & song which is really cool! I like to be careful & really take care about hygiene especially in this time & this restaurant was within your expectation in this matter. As a tourist, I find the meals cost kinda fair. I would recommend it & I would give it 4.5 stars.
