Great food, atmosphere and staff. Also a regular at the cafe for my morning coffee. Always greeted by name with a friendly face. They know how to make a good coffee!

Had breakfast there 3 times last week. The food was lovely. pancakes were amazing . coffee was hot and strong and arrived very quickly at the table too considering how busy they were. The staff were friendly and helpful with letting us know what was going on around town. Very good all round 👍

Visited this establishment on a public holiday. Such a chilled atmosphere and a great place to chat and catch up with friends. The staff were friendly and efficient. The menu had a variety of food choices and a range of drinks which included cocktails, beers and wines. The medium steaks we ordered were cooked to perfection! The ordering system was great as you can order directly from your table or you can go to the bar. We’ll back soon!

I don't think I have ever met more friendlier staff. Lunch was cheap and great. Definitely recommend

Held my son’s 21st celebration here. With very short notice, we booked the terrace and platters. All communication was excellent. On the day, all the staff were friendly and helpful, going out of their way to assist with decorations and setting up the area and tabs. There had a been a fire alarm going off minutes before we arrived, so things were hectic, but not once did the staff show any signs of stress, dealing with this crazy time on Saturday night. They had the whole function running smoothly and everyone had an incredible time. This is definitely a place we will return too. Great atmosphere, food and staff.

We had attending the annual Xmas Day Seafood buffet 2023. The food was, however, luke warm and tasteless. I had such high hopes as the staff were lovely, management catered to our large party, and the overall day was good. The saving grace was that the unlimited drinks had everyone not worry about the food as they were too trollied to focus on that. However, we sober people who drank later on noticed the food issues. If they fixed the food issues, it would be such a good package.

It is pretty much exactly the same as it used to be like 10 years ago... Just a regular, kind of boring pub. Lots of TVs, not a fan of TVs everywhere. We were going to have dinner here but the menu was uninspiring (plus the annoying TVs!) so we passed. Drinks were good.

We attended a party at the hotel last weekend. The food was amazing and delicious. I had the Moroccan lamb which fell off the bone and my husband had the delicious ravioli. The staff were friendly and efficient, especially Jack. We shall return

It’s always hard to find healthy food choices at a pub. I ordered the grilled chicken, salad and avocado on a spinach wrap. I was disappointed that there was way too much chicken, very little salad and a tiny bit of avocado, and it was presented with chips, which were not mentioned in the menu description. I refused the chips. Strangely, although I was one of the first to order, my wrap was served last. I must say though that the staff are very good, brought water promptly, were friendly and professional.

Took family for dinner. My chicken snitzel was off. Tasted acidic and burnt mouth. Asked for money back and was refunded immediately dtaf were very good and apologetic. Just hope I don't end up in hospital with food poisoning.

Laura the functions coordinator was so helpful and accommodating! We had a fantastic wedding reception and the food was a hit. All the supporting staff were so lovely as well! Overall a solid place for any kind of function and I would 100% host one here again

Hotel West End (which isn't a hotel at all) is always very clean, full of happy patrons and lovely staff. Constantly when I get drinks or food from their delicious menu I am never left wanting more. It is unfortunately a little bit on the pricier side, however not overly expensive like some other places are. Overall I really enjoy this restaurant/bistro/gaming lounge that isn't a hotel. Very good job with everything, guys! I had a chicken caesar salad - $23.00

Had my 50th Birthday bash here! It was wonderful! The staff were fantastic! The room was brilliant! Highly recommend for any function from Birthday to weddings

Surprisingly good! Been past outside many times and never ventured in. I had no expectations but it’s actually very nice inside - clean, lots of fake plants for a vibe, comfy chairs. Food was also good. Steak was ACTUALLY medium rare (wow) and the mushroom sauce was light from a mushroom flavour but really creamy and delicious (I couldn’t quite place the flavour but it must be deglazed or something with an alcohol). Veggies were on the crisp side which is nice if you like the crunch (I liked it) but I can imagine my stepdad wishing it was softer. Salad was generous (half an avocado in there!) and fresh. Meals came out quickly. Lunch prices are good value. Good atmosphere with the lunch crowd. Staff were efficient and polite. We were sat near the kitchen and it looked well run. Firm but nice. Everything going smoothly. Much better than the feels you get from some open kitchens! Would happily visit again. SIDE NOTE: The attached café out the front however was just “ok”. Orange, raspberry and apple juice was nice. I asked for warmed milk (like the frothed milk from a coffee) to go with my tea and I got a jug of cold milk. On the plus side they do have all sorts of milk at no extra charge. The Ham & Cheese Croque was pretty bland - filling, but not noteworthy. Staff were LOVELY though! Does a roaring trade on coffee by the looks also.

The food and service was fantastic had a fabulous night would recommend to anyone.

Decided to book a table here at the last minute for a group of 6 for a quiet end of trip dinner. Inside was fantastic, well laid out, quick service at the bar and a very good menu with your normal pub fare, with a few pleasant surprises in there as well. The Moroccan Lamb shank was awesome. Plenty of TV's on the wall to cater for everyone and they were only to happy to change the channel so we could view the footy from right above our table. Staff were very professional and friendly as well. Will definitely return in the future.

Food excellent! Service excellent as per usual. The manager runs a tight ship and it has clearly paid off. This hotel runs like a well oiled machine. I will continue to come back !!!

We had a snack and drinks and the atmosphere was great. They have a great covered out side area and a cafe on site.

I’m a platinum member, I ordered takeaway before 8:30 p.m. I had less than $1500. I took more than 30 minutes before I get my order. In short, I lost $1400 plus $450. I have given this place a lot of chances but they don’t care at all!

Went here for lunch. The food serves were huge. It was hot and fresh. Enjoyed the s and p squid. Prices were reasonable for the city.

NO more lunch specials. Used to be our go to place for lunch during the week, when working in the nearby office. It was great to get a steak and chips or a Chicken Schnitzel for less than $20, but its no longer available. Oh well... Time to go elsewhere...

They have the best food in the area, prices are really good too. I'm definitely coming back here. Great atmosphere and great staff. 👍

We have been here a few times pre QPAC shows. Great service and pretty good food, cooked fresh, served quickly by friendly and attentive staff. The prices are indicative of a business on the Southbank, but still from my POV are very reasonable.

Attended for a wedding function and was delightfully impressed. Fantastic function room with such pleasant and warm staff who really made the experience all the more enjoyable (shout-out Laura!). Food was absolutely delicious (both in the downstairs bar & at the function) & in good portions. Highly recommend, especially given it’s great locality to other nearby spots & Brissy CBD.

This is our go to local with the kids, really relaxed and modern setting. changing specials and great sized meals and the kids U12 deal is best in town. Burger/chips/juice/icecream for $12!

We hosted my daughter's 21st Birthday party at Hotel West End on the weekend. The service from Kate was outstanding. The food quality and quantity was impeccable and the guests and myself were very satisfied. The wait and bar staff were also very attentive and anything we asked was no trouble for them. Well done Hotel West End - you did an amazing job and I would recommend you to anyone looking for a venue. (The security guard also did a great job). Thank you to all involved.

Had just belated wedding ceremony. The Team at Hotel West End (headed by the function manager Kate) handled the event so well. I was really happy with the function space. They food was great as were the price of drinks. They even put together some vegan platters for my party, and those that partook of them said they were fantastically well done. Can't thank the Hotel West End (especially Kate) crew enough for an awesome covid safe evening. Thanks guys, you did an awesome job!

50 minute wait for food. 50 minutes. It was a salad. its not hard. on a week day lunch. the food wasnt even that good. Food is not cheap either. Every time my coworkers want to eat here i just ask why? whats so special about this place compared to others, i just dont get it, they clearly dont cater to people who work for a living and have limited lunch times. im not eating there again.

The place was great really clean and well laid out pub. The dining and drinking areas were really clean. Plenty of room for your own space. Outdoor heating and outdoor eating, relaxing area. The staff were absolutely amazing, super friendly and gave me a run down of the local places to visit. Would be great for a family feed or group of mates. Food prices were great value for money and the beers are the cheapest of all the local pubs I noticed which I will be returning for! I paid $9 at all other bars for a beer and I paid $8 here. The toilets were super clean and so were all the tables. I had a great time here and can highly recommend to any tourists or locals new to the area. 🥩🍺

What a lovely quiet place to hang out Saturday at brunch time. My friends and I love it. We go for coffee and drinks. The menu has a good range to choose from and the food is tasty and well-priced. The cocktails are delicious and well-made. The service always courteous.

The staff here go out of their way to be friendly and attentive. We had a couple of the lunch specials and they were incredible value and utterly delicious. I don't think I'll go back to the Boundary now that I know this place is this good!!

Really like this venue it is modern with lots of greenery. Really reasonable drink prices. Had a guy on the guitar which was pleasant. Excellent chicken wings and the rest of the menu looked more varied than most pubs.

What a wonderful experience. I went there with a group of doctors and they had the time of their lives. The blonde, bespectacled waitress (did not catch her name) was charming and the food was top notch. This gets Dr Donaldson’s seal of approval as his favourite watering hole this side of Gallifrey.

Good atmosphere, great staff and very nicely presented. Very typical pub fare food, nothing overly exciting. Portion sizes are ok for the prices.

Bit noisy on saturday night couldnt hear friends at same table. Muso only added to the racket. Food was good plenty of quantity. A little disappointed guiness pie off menu replaced with chicken pie. Oh well only minor gripe. Drinks reasonable not rip off prices.

My husband and I came for some wine and dinner last night. We were told at 810PM the kitchen is closing and to order, but when we called earlier, they said it was open much later. That's why we picked that restaurant. We didn't get time to eat before we were asked to leave, had to chug our wine. Were not offered a way to take our food, literally we ran out because they turned all the lights on. It's not even 930pm at this point. Basically we paid 85 bucks to sit for an hour. Do not recommend.

Thought I’d try the café this morning and was so impressed! All of the staff were beyond lovely and seemed so happy! Excellent service, yummy food and coffee, and great prices. I tipped the team $10, as it was all the cash I had on me, but I hope the café staff know how appreciated their hard work and enthusiasm is!

False advertising. Ordered a bottle of Mumm Champagne from the wine list at $65 bottle. When served it was the New Zealand Mumm not from France as advertised. I questioned the bar manager who just said the wine list was out of date and that the NZ Mumm at $65 was same price as bottle shop……irrelevant and not true. Need to lift your act.

So far had 2 perfectly medium rare rump steaks and a pork belly with crispy crackling. Keep up the good food guys! Looks like I'll have to work my way through the menu now 😁 Also super friendly and helpful staff even when they were packed with Christmas parties.

Last weekend I attended a private event that showcased a new and upcoming Band. The band was absolutely spectacular but another thing that elevated the night was the customer service of the bar staff! Shout out to Angus, Danika and Josie in particular for all of your hard work and patience with the super hyped crowd! (Apologies if I got the names wrong but I went off what I wrote in my phone notes LOL). You guys made it a night to remember! 😁

The food is great value on their lunch specials. Portions are large and they're also really well made. The only thing that's not to our taste tends to be their salads. Service is always friendly, and they try to be as speedy as possible, but it can get pretty busy and could probably use more staff at times, but west end is tricky to manage. Ambience is okay, modern, large displays, although you can't really listen to a game (sound on is almost always music on the entire venue)

Worst experience . We ordered 3 margarita cost $60 they came out in a spirit glasss full of ice not even crushed one sip and nothing left. We should have just asked for a tequila on ice . Staff were rude when we complained, they advised us we ordered the wrong margarita. We thought ok but, then the food came out salmon burger, bread was stale and salmon was dry . We left as we couldn’t be bothered saying anything because of the attitude from the staff
