When we are in Florence we always come here for lunch. Small & cosy & always busy selling good plates of meat & cheese, sandwiches & good wine & beer. Probably my favourite lunch place in Tuscany - so far! & still is after our return in Sept. 2018. Great service & sandwiches again! Sept. 2019 the fine sandwiches & cold plates never fail to impress & the service & friendliness of the staff is superb. Fine view of Basilica Santa Croce as well.

Delicious paninis and great wine. Located directly across the plaza from the Basilica di Santa Croce, this little gem of a wine bar is a must stop. Had the Vegetariano with a glass of Chianti - out of this world! Flavorful blend of vegetables, including eggplant, topped with pesto, and sandwiched between crunchy yet flaky bread. Perfection. It was a hot day so we sat inside. Small space but inviting, and the staff was super friendly. Price was easy on the pockets. Their outdoor seating offers great views and ambiance of Florence. Looking forward to going back again.

Welcome to Florence! The Tuscan charcuterie plate was just right, a single serving was enough for 2 if a sandwich was also ordered. The choice and taste was top shelf for price point. The blue cheese side dressing was not overpowering but complemented by the salami and ham. Truffle spread and sun dried onion was a party with the palette. The Tartufina Sandwich was toasted lightly with a crisp crunch and tender bread inside. Again, truffle spread and sun dried onion with buffalo sauce was perfecto! Service great and the atmosphere (except the road nearby) was true Firenze. The plaza at sunset was magic. Great stop and choice. 5 stars from me.

Fabulous wine bar right on the square. Great service and even better wine. We went both nights we were in Florence and sat outside. Good value at €5 a glass of wine and lovely views

One of the most surprising experiences I've had in Florence. It is this small place around the corner, that is a miracle as is. Small but has a good variety of cheese, cold cuts, very creative salads and, drinks especially wine. Friendly, cosy and very clean. I highly recommend this place! Cheers

Cute bar with really great drinks and even better views! Had to take a pic of my drink with my hand in comparison, because that sure is a generous negroni!

Popped in after a morning of museums for a quick lunch and we're very happy! I got the spicy salami panini, which was delicious :) Prices were fair and staff was friendly.

I was passing by and ordered a schiacciate to go. It didn’t have to wait long for my sandwich despite the place being busy. The ambiance of the restaurant looked fun and they had an outdoor terrace that many seemed to be enjoying of. As far as my Schiacciate I ordered the last one on the menu and it was ok. It was way to cheesy, if that could be a problem lol but it was. I wish it had more meat.

It is not only a museum, but a hotel. Very friendly personal. Minus - very problematic internet and bad restaurant inside the castle. And on the whole it is very romantic and beautiful place.

A literal “little hole in the wall” with some of the best schiacciatta and wine in all of Florence, great service and an amazing view! Did I mention great prices too! What more can you ask for!?

One of my favourite hang outs in Florence! Take a seat outside, enjoy good wine, antipasti, people watching and chat with the wonderful staff.

Had a pretty bad experience recently, we ordered the Crudo Charcuterie board for two, this is the amount we received for 40 EUR which isn't representative of the price. It also wasn't very fresh and bread was stale.

Excellent wine and service. The board for two was fantastic

Recommend for aperitivi! Beautiful view and fair prices. We were there for only one drink but the meat and cheese platters that others had looked great! We also decided to return the next day for a sandwich, which was A+

Really lovely little wine bar with nice food - the sandwiches are amazing and a real bargain - and the larger platters are top notch! Great selection of wines. Just off the main Piazza so less touristy but still with a lovely view of the Basilica

Would have loved to dine indoors if it was possible, but the food was great and the service was just as good, very friendly staff.

Cozy little wine bar with very affordable small bites, dessert, and wines by the glass. They also have bottles for purchase along the walls. We found the montepulciano and chianti great values, skip the tiramisu, however.

Nice cocktails, nice food, nice location 👍 away from the packed touristy areas but at the same time close enough. Good selection of focaccias

👍👍 You'll always see queues, but they are actually quite fast, so don't stress! They helped us with recommendations. We ordered one to share, as we wanted a bite mid morning, and it tasted really good. The meat quality is great, and the stracciatella was super creamy. The pistachio cream was amazing an...
