Booked through The Fork App to avoid queue. Greeted by a friendly assistant but once seated, the restaurant team service is not up to par. They just dropped you the menu and left. We tried to ask more questions about the steak & weight options but the server was not friendly about it. We ended up ordering the signature 1.2kg Florentine steak with pasta in Wild Boar sauce. These were really good. Complimentary bread is a meh. The bill came and though i have 20% discount voucher through The Fork, they did not recognized it and also 'mistakenly' add beer (that we never order) into our bill. Mind you, the other table next to us also found the bill given incorrect with additional thing that they didn't order. The waitress just casually cross it off and ask us to pay the correct amount, BUT they took the bill & immediately throw it. Not sure what that's for, but for those who plan to dine-in, make sure you check your bill!

After dining here, I think the place gets so many good reviews cause the staffs r very active at asking each customer for 5 stars review. They took my phone and all my friends phone to do so. The quality is definitely not that level Food wise: just so so, not excellent, Can easily find better and cheaper prices. We ordered the t-bone, medium rare & mixed salad. The steak is quite bland & the salad wasn't "mixed", just a bowl of veggie Service: The staff will try to upsale a bit. And ask for reviews directly mentioning their name. Ambiance is nice tho. But have to wait for 30mins+ to get in if u don't reserve.

Celebrated my wife's Birthday here in Florence. Had our first Steak Florentine. It was a really huge T-Bone Steak. The meat was very tender & tasty. The beef carpacio was already good. A wide selection of wines. What made this change from a dinner celebration to a really amazing dining experience was Emmanuel. He was attentive to what we were after and for this special occasion, he served my wife's birthday cake at the end of the meal with a birthday song with his colleagues. Absolutely pleasant experience. Highly recommended if you are after Steak Florentine in Florence. *Couldn't comment on any other dishes as we wanted a meaty meal. Thanks Emmanuel & All the Best!

Food was delicious. We ordered a T bone 1.5kg, pasta (which they recommended) and roasted veggies. However, the bread given was cold. Overall food was good but service could have been friendlier.

My wife and I had a T-Bone steak here. Attentive and kind staff. I thought the place would be loud with the place full, but to my pleasant surprise it had a good vibe with people talking at normal volume. T-Bone steak was cooked to medium rare and absolutely delicious. Their meatball spaghetti was tasty as well.

This was by far the best food we’ve had in Italy! The price is steeper but you get what you pay for. The seafood risotto was fantastic must try! , and so was the steak! 来意大利一定要在这里吃！

Florentine steak delicious. A generous appetizer for two people. Good wine. The staff works at full capacity, there is absolutely nothing waiting. The restaurant itself did not make a visual impression on me.

Trattoria Dall'Oste turned out to be a disappointment, especially considering the hype. The food fell short of expectations, and it felt like a tourist trap. The steak, in particular, was subpar—I've had better cuts in various places around the world. Even local spots in Germany offer superior steaks with a more welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The overall experience didn't justify the price, making it a regrettable choice. Given the abundance of dining options, I would strongly recommend skipping Trattoria Dall'Oste in favor of places that truly deliver both in terms of culinary satisfaction and hospitality.

Food is good, but make sure you order rare or medium rare for your Florentine T-Bone, because the hot iron plate will continue to cook the steak while on the table. Ours ended up a bit dry. Service is okay, our server only dropped the menu but didn’t bother to explain the menu or recommendations. Atmosphere is great for sure.

Our Florentine steak was quite tough and difficult to chew - not soft. Too much hype for this location. Rest of it was good but the main part of our meal disappointed us.

This is one of the best steak houses I've ever been to, and totally worthy of the ratings it has received. We ordered a beef tenderloin and pasta to share, and both the beef and pasta were equally delicious. The tenderloin was exceptionally tender and easy to chew, and tasted amazing! We topped off our meal with a tiramisu, which is decent! An absolute must to visit if you are in Florence.

Top 101 best steak restaurant. Trattoria Dall'Oste was a delightful place with a well cooked, juicy steak. Make sure to make a reservation, although I was able to make one the day of thankfully. One steak and a few sides are big enough for two people if you have a small stomach.

At this price, it would have many better options to eat steak. The woman who took our order that day didn't show her respect to us although the restaurant was very busy. We didn't finish ordering she just wanted to take away our menu ASAP. I didn't get that! Also, during the meal, we experienced a power outage three times. This is very unprofessional! As a famous restaurant OR a “top 101” restaurant, please show your respect and professionalism to your customers.

Ask for Karol The place is amazing but what makes it even more perfect is Karol. Trust her with all of her suggestions. We had the best dinner so much thanks to her and the amazing food. Her wine suggestion, meat suggestion, dessert suggestion and her kind and positive energy made everything even better.

Awesome first time experience. Very nice ambiance for a couple date (but I was alone 🥹). Ordered what the waiter has recommended and it was superb. Over 19k reviews and has such good ratings. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Florence.
