You'll always see queues, but they are actually quite fast, so don't stress! They helped us with recommendations. We ordered one to share, as we wanted a bite mid morning, and it tasted really good. The meat quality is great, and the stracciatella was super creamy. The pistachio cream was amazing and it made this sandwich special and different. They are quite Big and with good filling, so one per person is good enough to eat/have dinner or have heavy breakfast!

Three places, three queues, everyone around eating these. We decided to take them too and we were quite disappointed, because the taste was just average. The staff was very nice, the queue went fast, we managed to take only a half of this huge sandwich. The price was okay too for what you get, ingredients are fresh and cut on the counter so you can control it. Everything was great except the taste. It wasn’t bad though, I’d say it was really good for a sandwich, but just don’t expect something very special and different.

They do just take out. I’m a vegetarian & wasn’t sure if they would have good options, but they did, about 4 options. They use sourdough bread which could be a little thick & drying for someone not used to it. I got the ‘veg 1’. Ask them to make it a lil saucy. Simple yet comforting sandwich, packed with flavours. The only issue I had was they cut everything fresh. Where some pieces of pork fell into the sauces, they could probably be more specific about this. Some would even avoid this place due to religious/ hygienic reasons.

Great service and awesome people. The sandwich , in my opinion was less than what it looked. It was tasty but too much bread took away from it. I had to remove the top bread to enjoy. The prosciutto was the best thing in my sandwich. I almost wished for some olives to give it more taste. There are no seats or tables so be ready to go by the river or find some steps to sit and eat. Didn’t like that part. I like tables and good service.

Well All antico Vinaio has become an iconic place in Florence as one of the best sandwiches in Italy, and indeed it is. A wonderful experience all in all for a very affordable prices. Variety of wonderful sandwiches made in front of you with very tasty sauces; good service. Be aware of the big queue if you are in rush hour. Other than that it's a must visit.

Amazing sandwiches right in the center of Florence. This is great for a lunch pick me up or even dinner. The bread was amazing and the meat super delicious. Probably the best sandwiches in Florence and there’s always a line to prove it. I ordered “La Summer” and it’s the most basic sandwich with ham and cheese; it was amazing! Super refreshing and super tasty.

Overall is a good place to eat a panini, but as all of the places that work only with tourists its very crowdwd and long lines....(it took me around 50 minutes just to order). The panini was huge but i have to say that wasnt as good as i expected from a place that has all this people waiting in lines just to take a taste of what they do. ive tasted much better places around Florence and cheaper than this one,but if u just want to feel the tourist vibe in florence and trying this place is one of the things to do....then go for it,but dont expect to be amazed

They have 3 shops/lines to get people served as fast as possible. They are generous with toppings and the sandwiches are a good price. I got La Mala and my friends got the italian / the monthly special. My sandwich did not wow me but it got the job done. The bread was hard/kind of dry but I'm beginning to realize that's just Tuscan bread.

Wow, So delicious. Variety of sandwiches and drinks. Friendly staff and reasonable price. Something that you can eat anytime of the day. Gets very busy though. Just be patient. Absolutely worth it.

Don’t like to be don’t understand hype kind of person but I don’t understand the hype. The sandwich looks good, but if you are looking to do more than take a picture with a sub that looks good at a good price, don’t understand it. There are three separate sites next to each other with three separate lines. All employees were nice, just would rather go to a Italy gas station with auto grill as thought was way better.

Delicious sandwiches perfect for a lunch while walking through Florence. The sandwiches are great and come in massive portions. Due to the massive amount of publicity this place has received over the years, there is almost always a large crowd, so the restaurant has multiple separate lineups. They all lead to the same place so just join the shortest one. Well worth the hype.

Gotta wait a line but it is fast enough no worries. I tried number 4 and it was delicious. You can make your own sandwich as well, and everything thing looked perfect.

My friend and I shared 2 sandwiches from here. I have to say the beef I got was as tender as butter. The prosciutto wasn’t bad. To be honest the prosciutto is better at the deli next door. I really enjoyed my sandwich, but I wouldn’t say it’s the best I have ever had. In fact of the line is to long you should really just go to the place next door. They are just as good.

Delicious! I was recommended to check this place out by a friend and it was worth it! There were two different lines to side by side store fronts I guess they are that popular they opened two stores next to each other to reduce wait time! I think we got pretty lucky because of time of day as we went at 5pm roughly and waited maybe 5 minutes to get a sandwich. I had just asked to get the most popular sandwich and it was delicious with cured meat, eggplant and I believe ricotta cheese spread. There are a lot of friendly workers in the store and lots of people munching on sandwiches outside it is also a massive sandwich! We got it cut in half to split between two people!

The home made bread was the best. But the sandwich was just good. The quantity was more than sufficient and the prices were very good. There was a wait but luckily I waited almost none. The atmosphere was nice with music and songs from the staff. The staff could offer better services. I think it shouldn't be that famous because for me it was good enough not the best.

The only place we visited twice in Florence. I suggest you come here *very* hungry or ask one of the super nice guys to cut your order in half for you and two can feast on one. This sandwich made me realise no sandwich from here on is going to be good enough anymore. Superb flavour combinations with amazing ingredients. We’ll be back!

Arguably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life. I know that's hyperbole but the hype around this place is real. The focaccia is amazing and soft. The truffle cream works well with it, and oddly enough the mashed potatoes are a good fit. If this place was in my town I would put on a bunch of weight. All the staff were singing along to the techno hits, playing on the radio and entertaining my children. The price is fair and the line goes quick. My daughter preferred mozzarella over scamorza and they accommodated her.

Great sandwich place in the heart of Florence walking street, well worth the hype and number of reviews on Google Maps! The ingredients are fresh and the filling is incredibly generous. The price is super reasonable for the amount you get. For light eaters, you can definitely share one sandwich with 2 pax. The bread differs based on the sandwich you choose, some are crispier, others are thicker in nature. However, I'm not disappointed by either options. You should definitely give this a try if you are in Florence!

This place is massively popular for good reason! Yes the line is long but the wait is worth it. (To avoid an extraordinarily long line don’t visit on a weekend) A normal person will struggle to finish a whole sandwich in one sitting. The Tartufo 1 is truly one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever eaten. V highly recommended.

There are 3 different establishments on the same street and the lines are long for all of them. If you have time and are not starving make the line and try one of their sandwiches with pistachio spread, they are amazing!! One sandwich is enough for two people if you are not too hungry or are looking to snack on something while you continue touring Florence. I would recommend it as they are really good, the line moved quickly but I don’t reckon you could be there for 1-1.5 hrs when the lines are too long. Once you order, your sandwich will be ready in 2 minutes.

LOVE! Visited twice during only 2 days in Florence. The staff is cheerful and kind. One guy actually gave me a side cut of AMAZING fresh hot bread while I waited. The line is long but moves really quickly! The sandwiches are huge and cheap. MAKE SURE you visit!

Well, this place has 28k reviews, there is honestly little to add (proceeds to add a lot of things). Let’s go through the basics, place usually has long lines, but they tend to move fast. There is one place to pick up online orders and 2 others that are to order in the place (nobody knew the difference between the 2 places, one on the left and one on the right). What I think this place could benefit from is a rating per sandwich in their menu, which is online, because we had a very different experience with the 2 we ordered. Truffle n2: absolutely amazing, has a ridiculous amount of filling and the prosciutto tastes amazing. One thing I would mention is that personally I felt the truffle was a bit too strong. Would definitely eat it again. The number 1: I had to remove one of the breads because I thought the proportion of bread-to-filling was off. The porcheta did not have a very strong flavour, but the texture was nice. I would not order this sandwich again. These came to €19. On a final note, the sister that they have to get the orders and pay seems a bit inefficient, as you order by telling the team what you want over the counter and then you pay. You can imagine it’s a thin space and this creates a lot of bottlenecks.

Very good sandwiches. They are very rich in meat and cheese, the bread is so crispy and good. We were lucky to be there in a rainy day with no people at that exact moment, we even stayed at a table😂 we came near the next day and it was chaos, they have 4 shops one next to each other and all were full, people were blocking the street.

Because of so much hype on social media, we gave this place a try for lunch on our first day in Florence. The line was out the door, but it moved very fast. As a vegetarian, there were 3-4 choices and there were even a few vegan options. Overall I found the bread a little hard and dry, the cheeses were fresh but overall lacking flavor (maybe it could’ve used some salt/pepper). I paid extra to have some rocket (lettuce) and zucchini added.

Amazing sandwich. The bread is really good and all the ingredients are very fresh and of the best quality. I really recommend it. You can take away, walk some meters and have a nice moment eating this amazing sandwich looking into the Vecchio Bridge.

Worth all the hype. Long wait but the line moved fairly quickly. They had a lot of staff on the street helping to move the lines along and keep in organized. La Toscana 2.0 was so incredible, one of the best sandwiches I have ever had.

These sandwiches were AMAZING. The focaccia bread was simply delicious. I believe this is the best you can get for that price, they go from 7€ to 11€ and you will be full with just one of them. The place is always full of people waiting but it is definitely worth it. The lines might look long but they serve fast and you probably won’t have to wait more than 30 minutes. If you go to Florence, you have to try this, I recommend the tartufo sandwiches which have truffle sauce and you will love it.

This was one of the best sandwiches. We got the Dante and it had such a great flavor, and fresh bread. This spot has multiple store fronts so pop on any line. It will be quick! Only recommend more meat on the sandwich but would order 1000x

👍👍 The best steak restaurant in Florence. Food was really good. I ordered the set menu of Appetizer, side dishes, mineral water and the steak, and it was worth it! The steak was so good even if I only ate it just like that, but still you can eat it with 3 sauces. Not only the food, I found that the ser...
