I like! It is a particular and well-furnished place, excellent for making new acquaintances and ending the evening. Be prepared to breathe in a lot of secondhand smoke. I think it's one of those places that you either love or hate; I don't recommend it if you're someone who gets shocked at the sight of a line of coke or a trans girl. For everyone else, I recommend going there at least once. Perhaps the only thing that could be improved is the hygiene level of the sofas.

PORTO SEGURO SHOW AT MONTECARLA CLUB Yesterday, 9 November 2017, the new edition of the Porto Seguro Show was held at the Montecarla Club, during which the novel IL SOGNO DEL RAGNO by Carlo Menzinger was presented. The venue, unfortunately, proved to be inadequate for the scale of the event, given that there are quite few seats and even the two rooms are quite small to accommodate several dozen people from the public who came for the event. The place is decidedly kitsch and overloaded with decorations, with soft lighting and this strongly characterizes it. Given the excessive crowding and the particular situation, I was not able to appreciate the service. I consumed a simple spritz for €10.00.

Unique college era experiences. Extremely interesting locale.

Despite "no smoking" signs, staff hand out ashtrays and everyone smokes. If you want the '90s experience of coming home smelling like a chimney, this is the place for you.

It's been several years since I've been to this splendid place, I think it may have changed management recently, but it's still a place out of the ordinary and I like it.

I read Montecarla is going to close their doors forever. What a loss. I don’t think there is a club coming close to it. It felt like Miami in the 70s, Paris in the 1920s and the 80s in Berlin. Yes, there are trans people, drugs and Rock’n’Roll. And there is freedom. You will be missed.

High class club with good music and great people for socialising. Opened till 6-7am located in the heart of Florence with an artistic approach to the decor. There are two floors, top floor is a lounge area and from down, can get your drinks. I had such a great time, will surely visit again!

I went to this place for the first time last winter with my boyfriend.. And what can I say.. A very special experience for sure.. which for lovers of the genre and for those who appreciate places where you can find people of all types, as well as always unpredictable situations and If you want, exciting, it's the best! Since that time in that environment I feel a bit at home in my aimless and slightly crazy evenings... Now I've moved and I already miss it!! Pay a little more for the drink.. But then not that much.. It's worth it.. Great for couples who want to have fun.. Or for singles who want to get to know each other.. Also good for those who don't have a bed to sleep in one night because it closes just for cappuccino time 😉 I will stop by Florence again and the evenings at the Montecarla are definitely one of the reasons 😉

Worst place in Florence so far. The people Who work there aren’t polite, there a lot of problem with the communication and they didn’t let us in even tough we ask several time to do the card. I don’t suggest to go here. The people are to proud of themselves and there are better choices in the nightlife of the city.
