I would give more stars if I could!! The staff was so kind, helpful and had great recommendations for food & gelato! The rooms were very comfortable, the AC worked great & was a nice place to relax after exploring the city. Florence is a great place to visit & this hotel was my favorite out of all the places we’ve stayed on our trip so far! The breakfast buffet was so nice, they have a fancy coffee machine for espresso/cappuccino. I would 100% stay here again!

A modern, clean and charming hotel close to the Santa Maria Novella train station and center of Florence, been there for a 2 nights for my job and it was very comfortable- the rooms are very clean and modern, the staff is very friendly (especially Aman) and also the breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend this place to stay in Florence !

Very nice hotel with beautiful spacious rooms et absolutely adorable and competent staff, from reception to breakfast. It is very well located near the center and points of interest of the city, and very close to a bus stop. The only negative point is that the rooms on the street side are very, very noisy from 6 am (buses, cars, garbage trucks…) and we couldn’t sleep from then. Also, matresses are really soft, not hard enough but I guess that’s a matter of taste. Would recommend all in all if you can ask for a room on the good side :)

I had tried the Room mate in Milan in Jan and that why I choose to stay on it in Florence as well. I am always excited to experience the decorations in all Room Mate branches. I have tried two room style one with single small bed but with bathtub the view was amazing and the room has more space, and the second room with double bed less space. The stuff in general so nice and kind and they tried their best to help and make the stay smooth and comfortable. I had the room including the breakfast which they have it in perfect timing from 7AM to 12PM! food is good and satisfied for quick breakfast, everyone will find somethings to eat! Special thanks to Amazing (Aman) who served me in buffet with kindness and he is doing his job with love. The hotel in total is good and the location is not bad.

A very good option to enjoy Florence in a decent budget. Pros: VERY good & safe location, everything was close (walking distance), a safe area, a quiet area. The staff was VERY helpful, and it was clear that they were going the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. Quite rooms, with VERY clean, good bathrooms. I would recommend this from a quiet weekend to a multi-day stay. Very satisfied. Cons: The breakfast was average (6 out of 10; no less but no more). I was expecting something more from an otherwise perfect 4* star hotel. This breakfast was decent but nothing too special (I was expecting more italian-oriented options).

I had an excellent time at this Room Mate hotel location. After falling ill with a bout of food poisoning, their receptionists at the front desk took great care of me, sending up hot water and lemon and biscuits. The room was clean, well-appointed, and their mini bar is very reasonably priced and well-stocked. I would absolutely stay here again for the amenities and the location, but the excellent customer service I received was really the shining star of my stay at Room Mate Luca!

This is such a lovely hotel, I stayed here with my partner for 3 nights and it was very comfortable. Our room was really nice and clean with comfortable beds, and the aircon was able to handle the 40°c heat. All the staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. Overall a really great stay.

I stayed here for three days in Nov-2023. The place is very near the center, the hotel room is spacious and well-decorated, and the breakfast was very good with various options. A special mention to the people from the front desk (Erida, Eleonora, Augusto, and Davide): they helped me all the time, even before my arrival, and they made my stay very special. Kudos for their fantastic job.

What a great experience! The hotel is perfectly situated close to the city center and a stone’s throw away from the Accadamia. Staff is friendly, great variety in breakfast options, and cute boutique hotel vibes overall. Keep in mind the size of the room is not North American standards. Overall a very pleasant stay!

Staff were very friendly and helpful upon arrival - giving us travel tips and recommendations. All spoke very good English. Room was a decent size with all amenities needed, including additional toiletries like razor and shower caps. The bathroom was a wet room, which was fine but may put some people off. Very quite room, AC worked, 24/7 service and very good cleaning staff!

I’m very happy I chose this hotel. The entire staff were so warm and friendly. Augusto helped me out after going through some set backs. His customer service was exceptional. Not to take away from any of the other staff members they were all great. The breakfast was perfect and Aman was super sweet. I loved my room. The house keeping made sure the room was made everyday. I never saw the person to give them a personal thank you. The hotel is convenient to city center and trains. Also, there is a laundry next door. The only mishap was the night manager, who was annoyed when I would come In late and asked for tea. He had a condescending attitude, though I offered to pay, it seemed like it was an inconvenience for him to get me a cup of tea. The attitude was not appreciated as I am a very friendly person. Besides him everyone was great. Thank you Luca!!!

We spent two nights at Room Mate Luca. We have appreciated the service and the kindness of the reception girl. Room is clean and well equiped. The hotel is a 3/5 min walk from the city center. Very nice decoration and the breakfast is excellent. A great value ! I recommend

Good location, close to the attractions but away from the crowds. Rooms were fine, if. Though lacking a bit of lighting for my taste. The best thing was the breakfast that was included - it had EVERYTHING you would want and more. Excellent all around.

I stayed with my mum for 3 nights in December. Friendly staff, beds were comfortable and the location was very good. Breakfast was fantastic and the man whose name is Aman who works at the breakfast area is wonderful, polite and super kind. He made us smile every morning and prepared the coffee for us. A big hug from Spain. Hope to visit Florence again :)

If you are visiting Florence and need a place to stay, Room Mate Luca is THE PLACE. Room, that we stayed in, was VERY spacious and cozy 👍🏻 The location is also AMAZING (a few minutes from the cathedral & central market and other places within 20 min walking distance). In addition, every staffs on site is VERY attentive and helpful ! This hotel, pretty much, has everything you need ! I will definitely come back and stay here next time I visit Florence. P.S) Breakfast is also GREAT 👍🏻 I have NOTHING to complain about this hotel 💕 Mil Grazie 🇮🇹

Brilliant hotel! Very clean, staff are extremely accommodating (I'm gluten free) and only a short walk to the Duomo. We absolutely loved Florence and Room Mate Luca definitely helped make our experience even more amazing. We want to book again for our honeymoon!

The staff is utterly fantastic! Good location and very quiet. The breakfast is very good. A couple of comments on the hallway and rooms. 1. The hallways are very, very dark upstairs. It was a bit difficult for us to navigate, especially with the fire extinguisher extending into the walking area. 2. The tub is very slick and very high up thus difficult to get out of. The slam on my shin when I slipped trying to get out was pretty painful. Yes, I was being very careful and holding onto the sink (the only thing available). A little bit of work on these things would be pretty easy. Safely first, please.

I had great stay here and would return! Especially, breakfast was awesome. You can enjoy the varied menu and relaxed atmosphere. And also the concierge staff were so kind. They even made authentic Italian cappuccino, macchiato, or espresso! Friendly staff Mr.Aman really took care of me in the morning :) I had to check out very early in the morning. But they made me a breakfast box!

We had a great stay here and would return. Rooms were clean and comfortable with a kettle, a little unusual for continental hotels. There was a mini bar with a comprehensive range. Breakfast was a good standard and throughout our stay the service was always friendly and attentive . Well done team.

Quirky decore but still very tasteful. Reception team spoke perfect English and were very helpful with good recommendations of where to go, where to eat. We had a standard double that was clean and had air-con. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Location is pretty close to everything but Florence is quite a small city and easy enough to navigate on foot. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

From the moment we arrived, we were extremely impressed and happy with Luca! The concierge staff were so kind, called to check if we were enjoying the room they had for us, and greeted us each time we walked in or out. Our room here was impeccable- amazing AC (despite it being 100 F outside), extremely comfortable bed, large room (deluxe) to spread out in, quiet location and room was well sound proofed which was so helpful to us as we experienced jet lag. The breakfast provided had so many nice options, and the staff even made us macchiatos and cappuccinos. I would stay here and any other Room Mate hotel again and again! Thank you all for this wonderful experience 😊

One of the best cleanest hotels in Florence. The location is ideal, 10 minutes to train station and 7 minutes to Academia Gallery (David Statue). Out of all the best thing about this hotel is the master chef Aman and his personal service: he personally prepares the breakfast/lunch buffet and it’s out of the world. He always asked us for anything to make our stay homely. Very nice location, nice staff. Definitely a recommended place in Florence.
