We had a great stay here recently. It’s a great location that seemed to be within 15-20 minute walk of everything we wanted to do, to include the train station and Palazzo Pitti. I recommend the street balcony suite for the Duomo view. It doesn’t sit on a main street, but there is some city noise at night. We used their transfer service from the airport for ease of use, but their transfer to the train station was 3x Uber’s cost. We also used their laundry service and it was seamless.

To be correct I did NOT make mistake and I even showed you problem from Expedia via screenshots but that didn’t seem to be of concern to your establishment that an error in booking was made by Expedia . Good thing is they did take responsibility and handled it as they should have .. stating I incorrectly booked just proves why I am sticking with this rating, to me that is rude and invalid. Even after I showed a screenshot of the problem your response is as such .. not very good business original review: haven’t even begun my stay at the Residence but after a mistake by a 3rd party booking , the staff was very unsupportive and uncaring of the issues. Valentina cared less about the unfortunate situation for our family and more about the bottom line for their “residence” . When 3 rd party booking clearly states 3 people and it reported to residence 2 adults instead, they were less than caring of the situation . “Contact Expedia was solution from Valentina as opposed to any other helpful solutions . Trying to get support as we are in midst of travel was clearly too much for them to properly handle . At this point staying with a property that has less care for their incoming guests as opposed to what is in their best interest isn’t very welcoming . Too bad customer service is at the forefront here.

Residence Hilda was perfect for us Jun 2023 Absolutely perfect location to walk to many of the sights you want to see; the Duomo, Centrale Market and Firenze S M Novello train station. Beautiful building, exquisitely maintained and our room, no 31, was the same. Linens changed every day, water bottles provided in the refrigerator daily, comfortable bed and large suite. Full kitchen that is fully stocked with any and all utensils you may use. Dishes are washed for you daily. Air conditioning, elevator, help with luggage, just perfect. Staff is on top of things, restaurants and gelato are nearby, groceries delivered if you so choose as we did. Highly recommended for small family or a couple.

Wonderful stay for four days in Florence in June 2023. Our rooms were very clean and arranged to meet all of our needs. This is a great location with easy walking to the great city attractions. We were most impressed with the service provided by Valentina - she was so nice and friendly and really helped us with taxis and even another hotel reservation which was needed due to a flight delay. We love Florence and will definitely return to Residence Hilda when we return.

We have stayed at Residence Hilda 3 times in the past 4 years with the most recent for just over a week. The quality, value for money has always been good with each experience. All staff we have met over the time have been excellent and the position within Florence is also great for access to all the major sites. The availability of small supermarkets and cafes in the immediate area make for a very easy stay. Also happens to be across the road from one best hairdressers you are likely to find anywhere a real plus on top of a wonderful place to stay.

I have been living in Residence Hilda for almost one year and it successfully fulfilled all my needs. Valentina, the host and her staff are very supportive, kind and thoughtful. You couldn’t ask for a better location to live in Florence. I highly recommend this place!

This is an excellent location to stay in the center of Florence. It is a few steps from the Duomo. Restaurants, shops, bars are all around. Parking around the corner also a few steps to the entrance. The hotel is first class. We were greeted by Valentina who gave us excellent suggestions for our stay. The unit was pristine as was the decor, bed and bathroom. Highly recommend Residence Hilda as the best place to stay in Florence.

Very clean, super well located, good space in the apartament. If you want to stay downtown, this is the place to be.

Where do i begin. The location is fantastic, it's clean and the staff so friendly and helpful. I had tears in my eyes leaving-Valentina is the best. Don't hesitate to stay here-you will love it!

The apartment is very close to Duomo and other key tourist attractions. It takes 15min walk from main station to the apartment. The room is super spacious with well equipped kitchenette. I am impressed to find salt & pepper so that you don’t need to prepare on your own. You can cook simple food and enjoy coffee whenever you want. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are sound-proof. The only weakness comes noise from the back-street (e.g. motorcycle), especially we are staying at the first floor. But we are adaptable with it.

Residence Hilda is ideally located a couple of minutes walk away from the Duomo and on the next street across from the Academia where the statue of David is situated. I stayed in the Deluxe suite with balconies and it was lovely; very spacious and extremely clean. Valentina was lovely and coudn't have been more helpful. Residence Hilda is the perfect combination of a self catering apartment, with the service of a hotel. By that I mean the room is thoroughly cleaned every day and the sheets are changed regularly thoroughout your stay. There is even a notice to say, as you're on holiday, to leave the washing up to them!! I have already booked to stay again, very good value for money.

We had one of the most wonderful stay in Residence Hilda on our honeymoon. We felt that we arrived to “our Florence home”. This place feels like a private, own apartment than a hotel room. We had a wonderful dinner cooked by us in the fully equipped kitchen. The residence is 2 min walk from Duomo, welcomes by the staff who attending all the small and big requests. After check out they kept our luggage in a closed area so after check out we still had time to explore the city. Once again thank you for the wonderful stay and looking forward to visit Florence and stay with you.

We loved our stay. After having some difficulties in choosing the appropriate place because we came with our three years old son, we found in this deluxe apartment all the conditions to feel ourselves at home. We are near all the monuments, specially the Duomo. We have restaurants, museums like Da Vinci, Medicci, Galleria della Academia, Museo Archeollogico, supermarkets very near this place. And above all Valentina was absolutely amazing being available for anything that we need. I truly recommend this place, specially for families that want to be in a calm and organized place. We stayed for 2 weeks; a real 5-stars place. Great location, impeccably clean, and stylish and comfortable. Plus Valentina doesn’t miss a beat when something needs to be scheduled or fixed.

Fairly close to the heart of everything in Venice. Distance was reasonable from the train station. Complementary luggage storage and Italian candies in the rooms. Pull out bed from the sofa with partitions for the rooms for privacy. Decent sized closet. They had a complementary water bottle in the fridge which was very helpful since water is not free in Italy. There is also a stovetop and sink and kitchen utensils. Would recommend this place to family and friends.
