A beautiful little wine bar in the heart of Florence. We loved visiting here. They do wine tasting which we didn't do but there was a table over from us having it and the lady who was talking about the wine was really knowledgeable and super passionate. I also thought for €30 it looked great value with lots of different wines to try. We had a white and a red and they bought out some free nibbles for us too it was around €5 per glass which is standard. Fabulous service and lovely staff

Amazingly informative staff with delicious wine tasting options. The ‘snack’ that comes with the wine tasting is far more than that, which was much appreciated. I left full of knowledge, meat, cheese, and wine. An absolutely amazing experience for my first night in Florence and one I truly appreciated. Thank you!!!

Great place to enjoy some really good wine! For the reviews claiming the staff are rude, they have (likely) not experienced much of Italy where people aren’t rude but are very direct/bold. Karina and her family are very kind, extremely knowledgeable about their families wine as well as many local wines. They make great simple paninis and meat/cheese plates. Each time we’ve visited we’ve felt more and more at home! Don’t miss this place and don’t pass on the Cabernet Franc, some of the best I’ve ever had!!

The owner is the sweetest person, and knows so much about wine and the Tuscan wine experience. Our stop here was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Be sure to get a bottle of the Tuscano Bianco.

I had such a wonderful experience, all thanks to Diana and Karina! I did a tasting of one white and two reds (Chianti Classico & Super Tuscan) paired with a tasty platter of bread, cheese and meats for about 30€. The detailed explanation of the wines, lovely hosts and the cozy, intimate atmosphere was the perfect way to spend the evening. I can’t recommend Antica Bottega enough!

We called 2 hrs before to do a wine tasting for the 3 of us and they fit us in! We loved our time here. A wonderful experience all around: great intimate atmosphere, great charcuterie board, great wine. But mostly importantly incredible service. Our host provided background on our wines, taught us how to taste and cultivated a wonderful menu and progression. She asked us what we preferred to taste and opted for wines she thought we'd like. Thank you so much! We'll be back!

Our absolute favorite! The owners are so kind, the wine and small plates are amazing! Ask for food and shopping recommendations-and great wines they will ship home for you.

Had the most amazing experience at this winery- Karina was AMAZING. Extremely passionate, knowledgeable and personable. This was our first time Florence and she made it amazing. Thank you Karina for recommending some amazing wine & being so welcoming. Snacks were included in the wine tasting and they made the experience that much better, cannot recommend enough!!💌💌🍷🍷

Unfortunately after waiting for 45mns (4pm - 4.45pm) in the rain, the Bottega was shut for a "break" even though there is no mention of any sort of break time on Google or at the Bottega itself (which additionally even advertises Wine Tasting from 4pm) Shame .. UPDATE: Dear Karina, Thank you for your feedback. The issue has nothing to do with the rain nor were you blamed for the rain. The issue is simply the lack of information regarding the spontaneous break which is neither stated on Google nor at your Bottega (to expect daily cultural breaks at 4pm which last an unspecified time.) I certainly respect other cultures and also have plenty of patience .. otherwise I wouldn't have waited over 45mns for the break to be over (which it wasnt). If a business is stated to be open from a certain time then I would expect that business to be open during such time and so to arrive during opening times to find that business not open .. Well .. again a shame as previously said. I have seen other reviews here where your attitude is questioned. I can't comment there but I would hope that constructive (not personal) criticism can be taken and actioned from your side.

Waited over an hour and a half after being told they were going on a 30 min break. Was given wine that was skunked and told it was the best they had. Over priced and wouldn't recommend. Go buy a nice bottle from a wine shop and you’ll have a much better time.

This was one of the highlights to our trip in Florence, and so glad we came! We didn’t go for the wine tasting menu, but instead asked the waitresses to recommend wines based on our preferences and boy did they deliver! Amazing wines, fantastic and knowledgeable service, and a lovely atmosphere! Thank you so much ladies! 😍😘

My boyfriend and I had an absolutely WONDERFUL experience here. We first ordered a glass of house wine each and some bruschetti. We then ordered a bottle of white wine which turned out to be from the owners family’s winery. She gave us a great explanation of the Tuscany region and nicely answered all of our questions. Amazing place and amazing hospitality. Go here!!

Such a cute little spot tucked away in a small alley. Lots of people passing by would stop to take pictures of their charming entryway. We did a short, informal wine tasting of 1 red and 1 white—both were excellent!

Such a cool spot! We all were so happy to accidently stumble upon this gem. The atmosphere is very cool and have fantastic cocktail and (of course) wine menu. We all ended up buying some to ship home. The ladies running this spot are so friendly and passionate about what they do. Would definitely return!

We stopped by for a bottle of wine and appetizers, and had a wonderful time. The restaurant owner was a fantastic host, and we look forward to returning during our visit in September!

This spot was a wonderful surprise. Hidden in a small alley we weren’t sure about it but ended up extremely pleased. Carina was a charming hostess and was very knowledgeable about the soil, climate and aging process for each of the wines we tried. The pours were generous as was the meat and cheese platter that accompanied the tasting. Highly recommended spot.

This was my favorite wine spot to visit in Florence, a must go! With the tasting you get many tasty meats and cheeses. But what really made this place special was the owners! They know so much about wine and we had a fantastic time learning from them. We ended up staying for hours drinking and chatting!

HORRIBLE! Don’t go!!! We walked half away across town just to go there, and we were received in the most unwelcome way possible, they treated us as if we were baggers, the place was full and we didn’t mind waiting for a table, but before we could go outside and wait for our table, this fake blond lady full of botox came in shouting and practically kicking us out, and clapping her hands ironically, ARROGANT and RUDE. No clue how this place still running…. The other brunette lady behind the bar was nice.
