Worst experience in Italy. When enter the little place the girl employee just says 'buongiorno' to every customer, but not as a kind welcome but only to hurry you up and ask what you want to take. We asked for one crepe. The girl answered 'caldo' (hot) or 'freddo' (cold). We replied 'caldo' and wanted to know the price. She only said 'sit and pay after'. Five minutes later a guy employee brought us a tea! We tried to explained that was a mistake but noticing the rude attitude of the girl and realizing we were in vacation, decided that there was no problem on having a tea. We said to her 'no problem, it is OK with the tea' and agreed the crepe to be with Nutella. After a while we finally had the crepe. The big surprise came when we had to pay 10 (ten) euros! I got a bit shocked since this is not by far a luxury place and asked for the price. She answered '4 for the tea and 6 for the crepe'. Then I asked for the bill that only shown '10 euro' without describing what we took. When I asked her for a detailed bill that enquiry finally seemed to move the girl. She knocked the desk, grudgingly changed the recipe and said goodbye to us with a 'va a fanculo'. If you don't like to be mistreated and cheated avoid this place at all costs.

Tourist trap and scam. Overcharged double price for coffee and panini. (4 euros for a cup of coffee compared to 1-2 euro across the historical center). Unlike most of other caffès , this place does not show the prices anywhere. Avoid this place.

DO NOT GO — WILL LIE ON THE BILL They charged me nearly double what my bill should be.. I didn’t realize until after I paid and thought, wow that was really expensive.. I go back for more info, and he said there was a 50% mark up for dining in. 50%!! Even when after called out, he basically said tough luck.

I recently visited at around 3 PM, expecting a pleasant afternoon break. Unfortunately, the experience was far from enjoyable. Despite the café being moderately busy with customers enjoying their coffee, our request for a cappuccino was inexplicably denied. The manager, without providing any reason, refused to serve us this particular drink. What compounded the issue was his attitude – he was outright rude during our interaction. Such service is unacceptable, especially when no reasonable explanation is given for the refusal. A café, in my opinion, is not just about the drinks but also about the hospitality and the overall experience. It's disappointing to see failing in these aspects. I hope this feedback encourages them to improve their customer service. Until then, I'm hesitant to return or recommend this place to others.

Rude staff. Unpleasant if you are looking for an early coffee prior to the Duomo visit. Not recommended.

Dirty place, toilette completely unusable. A bottled tea it's 3€ but if you sit down for 5 minutes while drinking it, they charge you 5€, so as they said 2€ per service(only had one drink). So save yourself some trouble.

Not the best spritz (5€ at 1300) and typical Italian service, but she was kind enough and it served its purpose.

Visited with my sister in november 2022. The gentleman was very friendly, let us play whatever music we wanted on the TV, got drunk danced had beers and prosecco and wine and only left when the hotel asked us to turn down the music haha. Pours were generous bill was around 40 euros but the vibes were immaculate.

Went here one night....worst decision ever. Rude owner, was overcharged, and horrible gelato. Worse than any ice cream you could buy in a grocery store. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Great place! We ordered drinks and got some free food. The host was really friendly, poured full drinks and the prices are really affordable being so close to Duomo. We visited the next day and he didn't disappoint again ☺️

€6 for a mid cappuccino, gilli is 3 min away, historical, 3 centuries old, way better coffee + environment. Do NOT go here. Wack.

Ask the price before you buy. The normal Italian prices are not practiced here. Everything is 2-3x the normal price.

Extremely rude service - angry and aggressive. Charges are excessively high and not shown prior. Horrible, overpriced coffee. Would avoid at all cost.

😐 Not gonna lie, this is probably the most underwhelming Eataly location I've ever visited. Eataly locations are usually grandiose with impeccable service, but this one felt like a little corner store in Disneyland.
