Great little spot for food and drink. Service was decent.. the food was great! And overlooking Palazzo Vecchio.. I mean perfect spot.

Viktor was an outstanding server! We had a great time and we were not expecting such amazing service in a restaurant so close to a tourist attraction. Ask for Viktor for the best service in Florence!

Came here on my honeymoon and had a very romantic dinner at Osteria dell’Orcagna! We really enjoyed our drinks and wonderful pasta with truffle. Very friendly waiters and it’s in a great location!

We arrived around 2030 without reservation. We had luck and they gave us a table. They have been very nice over the night. Professional service. The dinner and wine were exceptional. We really appreciated their friendly behaviour. The toilet could be a bit cleaner. The view is beautiful. Thank you for the wonderful memory.

Only came here for location. I knew that food is average. However, I also found out that they are still living in some sort of 1900 era where everything goes through your husband and women's opinions don’t matter. Not even when u order wine, nope! The tasting has to be done by your husband to know if its good enough, they don’t bother asking you. It’s pretty sexist but I am not shocked! Wont becoming back, Obviously.

The waiter was really nice. I thought that the pizza would be a little bigger but for this price and localization it seems fair to me. I think that there are plenty of better places, but this is definetly an affordable one.

The service was fast and nice. I ordered a Chicken Parmesan. Once it arrived it looked pretty poor; just a piece of chicken with tomato, some slices of cheese on top and a bunch of tomato-water around it. I can overlook bad presentation as long as the food is good, but the worst part is that it was raw inside. I had to send it back for obvious safety reasons. It wasn't too bad when it came back to me, but I would expect more from a dish they charge 20 bucks for. Taste was ok, but even if it hadn't been raw I wouldn't have paid the price. If you want to burn money on "just ok food" this is the place for you. If you want good food try somewhere else.

I was by myself, ordered to drinks and a pasta dish. The drinks came fast, after 45 minutes I still have not received my food. Everyone else that came after me not only already received their food, but some of them already paid their bill and left. The waiters ignored me completely and did not come by even once in that time, and when ever I tried to talk to one he just looked the other way and kept ignoring me… I nearly cried.

Went here Sep 12th for lunch, not sure why people complain about the slow service, we had great service. The three of us had Prosciutto & Melone, Spaghetti, and the Gnocchetti with walnut cream sauce. Really good food in the square looking at the Palazzo Vecchio. Others in the area seemed to be enjoying the same as well. I saw all the negative reviews, and thought hey, this was a really great spot. I'd come back again.

Best steak I've ever had. Great place. Incredible selection of meat, tip quality. Yuri gave expert advice on the menu and the wine. Will definitelly come back

I like medium rare and heeded the waiter’s advice to get a 2kg local steak rare. The meat was phenomenal! The best I’ve ever had even though I like a hard sear. 4 of us split it and the strip was tender like filet. While.

pasta!! Food was excellent and service was super friendly. I would really recommend this place. Not sure what the bad reviews are about, we had a fantastic dinner. Our table neighbours seemed super happy with their Florentine steak.

Service excellent. The head waiter and the gent who served me were very attentive. Recommend the perfect wine match to my delicious meal. Definitely a meal to remember. Everyone should go here for the vista, food and service. What more could you ask for!

Back mid May, we stopped in for a quick snack while seeing the sights. The food was enjoyable and the beer, wine was cold on a hot day. I see many complaints of the service and must say that was not our experience at all. The waiters were friendly and very attentive. When our waiter was busy elsewhere another was more than willing to serve us. My daughter inadvertently knocked over and broke her wine glass. It was promptly cleaned, and though the gentlemen working in the neighbouring restaurant didn't seem too pleased(it had fallen over the partition), our waiters were very pleasant, quickly joking with my daughter and easing the embarrassment that she was feeling. I would not hesitate to visit this restaurant again if I am ever fortunate enough to return to Florence!

Terrible! Waiters are paying more attention to getting more tourists then their guests. Food is horrible and overpriced….the worst pizza i have ever had. Drinks are overpriced as well (11€ per drink), small and you couldn’t even taste alcohol in it. And the worst is Table service-3,50€ per person, imagine going there with family.

We stopped here for a couple drinks before going into the Palazzo. Our service was good and the price was what I expected.

I find puzzling that it only has 3 stars on Google maps while my experience (corroborated by Trip Advisor rating of 4.5) is that it deserved a far better score. Location is great, that’s a given plus there is a good selection of regional cuisine on offer. Our party of three ordered three different meals from that part of the menu and were quite satisfied. Will definitely be back when in Florence is again.

Food was average but the service is terrible. One waiter came and drop other guests’ takeaway to us without asking. The n we got ignored by another waiter when we wanted to order. The person took our order was rude when I asked him for olive oil the second time since no one deliver anything for the first time. At last, when we want to pay and ask for the bill, waiter number 4 said yes and just ignore. Conclusion — Don’t come here and spend your money here.

Unfortunately not worth the money. It's simply too expensive. We did get a nice platter with local specialities, but the house wine was very warm and smelled and tasted like old attic or old wet couch. The nice and welcomming staff and the fantastic view to Plazza della Signoria is not enough to earn more than two stars.

Worst restaurant I have ever been to. Inedible over-salted food and when I tried to quietly send it back the waiters proceeded to loudly and embarrassingly argue with me. I then said I would just pay for my drink... I was charged €5 for a can of drink!! To top off the whole fun experience I had the receipt thrown at me by an extremely rude waiter. Do NOT eat here!!!

We had the best steak of our life and it’s not an overstatement. We ordered their large T-Bone and you must order it even if you don’t finish.
