Impressive house but too expensive. Very poor breakfast and bad service.

A beautiful, quiet hotel in Florence. The room was clean, the breakfast was self serve in the little bar nook, the bar at night provided us with nice wines or cocktails. I'd highly recommend this hotel to friends and family if the travel to Florence

It's a great stopover for anyone with a car. They have ample parking available. Pros: Not too far from Florence city center with a bus stop about 500m away. Rooms are nice, bright and big. Good housekeeping. Clean and big bathroom. Nice landscaping. Good interiors and ambience. Cozy reception. Decent breakfast (the only hot option is scrambled eggs, milk and coffee, rest of options are cold) Cons: Reception is open only 8AM - 8PM Way in and out using a security keypad ( which seemingly does not change) - Makes it a security risk. No restaurant on site. Sound proofing is very poor. Could hear almost everything outside the door. Quite a walk from main gate of property to the reception, over a gravel path. Difficult to take along the big suitcases. No lift - again becomes an issue with the luggage.

Nice hotel with reasonable rate in Florence. Located at about 2 km away from the Vecchio bridge. Room was large compared to other Italian hotels and the breakfast was very nice.

We stayed for 2 nights and can very highly recommend this hotel. It is easy to find and is situated in a safe area to walk at nights and has secure parking for free. The service was very attentive and they make sure that their guests have a wonderful stay. They contacted us and gave us instructions for a late check-in when for an arrivel after 8 pm. The gentleman at the checkin desk gave as helpful information for our stay such as good restaurants nearby and how we get to the city center, in the end he showed us our room and when we got in the room, it was spacious, with air conditioning working, a fridge with 2 bottles of water for free and NO ANTS or MOSQUITOS! Breakfast was alright but with good coffee. You can get boiled eggs, one kind of sausages and cheese, yogurt, cereals, milk... It is enough for us to start the day but the breakfast would be much better with some fresh vegetables such as tomatoes or cucumber :)! Overall we had a good time there also the room cleaning service was the best we have met in Italy. Because we haven't left our room while they were cleaning the rooms, they asked us if we needed something such as towels or water. We left after 2pm and when we got back the room was clean, they made our bed, we had 2 bottles of water in the fridge... By foot we needed 30min. downhill to the center and it was a nice walk down- and uphill. So, we can very highly recommend this hotel!

Beautiful little hotel just out of the historical center of Florence. Nice clean and spacious room. Very good breakfast ,with nice product. The reception people were amazing ,i had a little problem and they help out in a professional and friendly manner . Highly reccomended if you need to pass some days in Florence. Cheers to all…

Located in 30 min walking distance from Old Town. Lots of parking space, sourounded by garden. Nice Rooms and breakfast.

We spent a few wonderful days at Hotel Villa Betania. It wasn’t just comfortable rooms that made our time there unforgettable, but also the exceptional helpfulness of the staff. Every employee was incredibly attentive and friendly, always ready to assist us with anything. Moreover, they provided us with valuable advice for exploring Florence and its surroundings, which truly helped us make the most out of our trip. This hotel was simply the perfect choice. Is there sufficient parking space available that you can use free during your stay.

One of our favorite hotels stayed in Italy, was this hidden gem in Florence. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, they could be guides! The room was huge, with great views of the property. The breakfast was fantastic, including the croissants (even though they are the baked from frozen ones). Yes, I know, you'd say to go out and have local breakfast, but I'd do it again, I'd eat at the hotel again, it was that good.

Very nice Villa converted to hotel on the Poggio Imperiale in Florence. Ideal to stay for the Galileo Galilei Institute just a short walk away. Good breakfast and room was reasonably sized and in good condition.

My husband and I stayed at the Villa Batania on two occasions during a trip to Europe. We particularly appreciated the location as it was well away from the hustle and bustle of tourist Florence but just a short bus ride away. The bus stop was located just metres from the hotel. The peace and quiet was lovely after a day of sightseeing. We also enjoyed the lovely breakfast and end of the day drink served in the pretty courtyard. On our next trip to Florence we will most certainly stay there again. We had a garden room which was absolutely gorgeous, spacious and opened out on to a small private terrace. The staff could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Thank you.

Great stay. We were doing a road trip around Italy and because it's always a trouble to find parking where you don't need to pay around 30 euros in the city we were lucky that we found this accommodation. Parking is free. The rooms are big. Breakfast is good and the staff is very nice. We were walking every day from the accommodation to the city and it took us about 20 mins one way.

The hotel is set in private secluded grounds. There is no traffic noise although you are very close to the heart of Florence. It is an easy 15 minute walk from the property into the City although there is also public transport right on the doorstep. Breakfast is provided in an ambient setting and the staff are polite and helpful.

Beautiful hotel in a quiet position but close to centre of Florence. We were here for a wedding so only had 1 day to visit Florence, about a 20 minute walk into centre, to visit as much as we could. The room was spacious and comfortable. Plenty of choice at breakfast, although I will mention that on one day the soft boiled eggs were hardly cooked ! I would recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to visit Florence especially if you are driving, as it is nigh impossible to find a central hotel with parking

The place is nice on its own. The rooms are huge, super clean, beds are comfortable and the hotel even has its own park. However, it is far from the city and the walk is 30 mins or more. If you wanna take a shower or just relax a bit to re-charge some energy and go back, it is a problem. There is #11 bus which costs 1.20 if you buy a ticket at the hotel but it runs every 30-40 mins on weekends. If you have a car, the place would be perfect.

Personnel was friendly and helpful. Location was good especially if you have a car. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was typical Italian Continental and good. Take their advice and walk to the city and ride the bus back to hotel. Will definitely return to this hotel.

Good location, price and breakfast. The air conditioning was noisy and didn't heat the room properly!
