Photos do not reflect the rooms that you will receive. Reception is always in your business. Our room windows faced a dirty courtyard. Our room also had a mosquito infestation. Every morning I had multiple bug bites and was scared to even fall asleep at night. The only redeeming quality was the proximity to the Duomo. Definitely spend your money at the many other nice stays around this area :)

The hotel is right next to the Duomo and super convenient to get around to the main tourist areas. Because it’s on the pedestrian street the taxis can’t really get in but it’s only 20metres or so away that we got dropped off so it’s no bother really. There is ac in the rooms which is a big help during the hot summer months. People at the reception and the cleaning ladies are very nice and friendly. My only let down was the breakfast, I wish they served some hot meals like omelette, sausages etc but everything else was great!

They show you images of luxurious rooms like from royal palace while you are booking. But in fact the „Superior Apartment“ is very simple and dark. Two coffee capsules (one for each morning?) and no more, even when you ask kindly.

Beautiful little hotel, sat in the center of the city, with the Duomo literally a few feet away. The room was small, but it was updated and perfect for 2 people. The desk assistant was awesome! She gave us lots of information on where to go and where to eat. They were even so kind to hold our luggage for a little bit so we could have lunch. Would definitely be back! We parked in the Michaelangelo parking garage and paid the ZTL fee, it was about a 5 minute walk to the hotel, because there is no thru traffic on that road. Grazie Martelli 6!

Two nights stay. The room was clean and silent. Frigobar was always empty. TV is not fully synth on available channels, not possible to re-synth. There was no internet connection using the indicated password. Considering the price, I would avoid it.

The room was average - we were even a bit disappointed about the room, compared to what we expected from the pictures. No windows, except into an air-conditioning shaft. The airconditioning barely worked. Service in the reception was good. The location was unbeatable and very close to the Duomo.

Average hotel, rooms barely look like the photos (we stayed in two different rooms). Beds not very comfortable, one room didn’t really have a window, shower leaked. Hotel was 2/3 star at best but ideal location for site seeing.

Easy check in situation with available baggage storage if you arrive early. Room was clean and modern, breakfast was excellent. Great location in the centre of Florence. Be aware of their checking hours as it is not 24/7, however it was staffed early in the morning and late at night. Highly recommend this hotel.

Just meters from the Duomo on a wide pedestrian street in the heart of Florence. It’s so convenient just to drop in to refresh, leave parcels or have a snack in the Eataly next door. Here you can purchase delicious small goods, wine etc as well as dine in. Staff at Martelli 6 were really helpful. Our king double room was clean, modern and spacious. Price was very reasonable for Florence. Easy walk to all major sites and SMN Train Station. We highly recommend this accommodation.

Very convenient place and good price! Some rooms have the roof window that you can see Duomo.

LOCATION!!! Absolutely best location so central to everything. The rooms were also beautiful, spacious, clean and had everything you needed. Staff were helpful and also provided luggage storage after check out.

The entire check-in experience was horrible. We were made to walk to a seperate location to check-in whilst lugging our suitcases, then walk back. Room not cleaned properly with hair on the bed. Aircon locked on ‘fan mode’ and unable to switch to cool. Only a single charging port available located in the corner of the room next to heater miles away from the bed. Do not recommend

It was really nice and spacious and clean for a hotel in Italy Theres 2 variaties of rooms (according to what I know):There are suites (Big rooms with a kitchen too) and small rooms (still quite nice though) Would go back again

Great location and Alina & the owner were great, my son left his wallet there...they over night ed to me in Florence. I WILL stay there again next time in Rome!!!

If comfort is important to you, AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! There is only one tiny AC for a whole room that barely works we sweat more in our room than we did on the street in the sun, they would not give us a second key to the room, nor would they help us call a taxi. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. HORRIBLE rooms. HORRIBLE experience. Period. The toilet also broke, and would not flush. The room smelled like vinegar half the time. I cannot express how certain we are that we will never be back here. Worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Our friend had a separate room upstairs, and her room was exactly the same temperature as outside 89 degrees!!!! This is horrible.

The place is very nice, great location, my room was spacious and clean. What I didn't like was that the wi-fi was really bad. Was almost impossible to use it in the room and as a tourist it was something I really needed. Also in the morning I had to woke up at 6 every day, due to the noise of the track that was picking the trash on the street.

Great location! Room I had was great for a solo traveler. Not a great view. Peeked into a bigger room/suite and it was much bigger and nicer for a couple. I would stay again. Staff was nice and unobtrusive

We stayed for 5 nights. The room was clean and quite basic. The high ceiling was a beautiful fresco style painting - very pretty. The bathroom, built into the room has thin walls and door so a little awkward for a new couple potentially! There was a dodgy broken floorboard and the mini fridge didn't work at all. The lift is a bit wobbly but does the job. Not ideal if you're claustrophobic! HOWEVER the location and cost is amazing! It's right in the middle of the bustling city with easy access to all of the main sights and lots of shops, restaurants and bars close by, which is why they don't need to serve breakfast. The staff were friendly too.

Great location, right next to the Duomo. Restaurant next door is delicious. Near laundry. Great apartment. Friendly and helpful desk and cleaning staff. A good find!

We would not recommend this hotel to anyone! avoid the headache, there are plenty of nice hotels around. The hotel is a over price 2 stars hotel, not a rated 4-star hotel. And Service staff is 0 star We reluctantly stayed at this hotel, as we had no choice, unfortunately, I had booked this hotel through bookings.com late one night, so was not aware that I had booked the wrong month. I immediately realised it but it was too late, the condition of this booking was non-refundable. After many attempts via bookings and direct emailing to this hotel -they still refused to change the month, only if we pay double for the room. Finally, for an extra $100 euros, they give us a smaller inferior double room instead, with a sofa bed for our child. (soooo mean! ) The hotel and service were very disappointing, our room, hallway carpet, lobby was very old, tired, and worn. at check-in, the room was only made up for two people, nothing for the child, not even a bottle water! the shower was falling apart, drainage did not flow, and walls falling apart. We were overcharged on service tax, requested a refund -ignored -doesn't even acknowledge our email or calls. Not surprising since many have had similar experiences (here on google)when they try to request a refund. it seems once they take your money, don't expect to see it again. No matter what your reason is, they don't care!

I had an overall excellent experience. From the great location and the lovely staff to the large and spotlessly clean room. It is also excellent value for money! Only slight downside: the noise late at night and early in the morning from the waste collection - but they keep the city super clean despite the massive tourism!
