Definitely a great hotel!! We picked it because it looked nice in the pictures and it was even nicer than we thought. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms are big and spacious and are overlooking the small garden in the center. Even though there is no breakfast buffet, the breakfast that we got was more than enough, and everything was delicious, and was prepared with quality ingredients. I definitely recommend this hotel for your next vacation in Florence. I know I will be back!!

Beautiful rooms, and very quiet despite many of the reviews on Google complaining about noise! I do believe this hotel is under new management as of 2019, so you might want to dismiss any reviews prior to that. The staff at this hotel are top notch - so helpful with every aspect of your trip! They have a connection with CiaoFlorence to help you book guided tours, even for hot spots that might be running low on tickets. Location can't be beat - 7 minute walk to so many things, and about 20 mins (beautiful walk!) to the farther stuff like Pitti Palace/Boboli Gardens. The breakfast was awesome, and they were very accommodating. I have celiac disease and they had no problems with gluten free options.

PROS: - location is amazing, very close to Duomo - very friendly service CONS: - the rooms advertised online look much different in real life. Call ahead to make sure you get a proper room for the size of your luggage. The standard room is VERY VERY small compared to the pictures advertised. We did not have enough space with one checked size suitcase and one carry-on suitcase. - the lighting in the room/bathroom is very dim. It was romantic lighting, but very difficult to see or put on makeup.

Wow, wonderfully renovated. The open courtyard is very nice. The room is very roomy. The breakfast service feels very personal and special. Walking distance to all the attractions in Florence.

The air conditioner does not work properly in the middle of the summer!. We slept with a temperature of 26 degrees in the room and hotel manager tells us that it is normal and nothing can be done about it. Check-in process is very complicated if you arrive after 7pm.There is nobody at the hotel that can help you before 9.30-10am or after 7pm because lobby is closed. Quality of customer service is terrible. There are MANY other MUCH BETTER options at this price point in Florence. If you want to be properly treated and if you do not want to be sweating in your room, avoid this place.

I just returned from my fantastic stay at Corte Guelfa. The hotel is located less than 5 min walk to the Duomo and our family of four with two children walked to every major sightseeing areas. The staffs at the hotel are extremely hard working and kind and willing to help with anything during the stay. The hotel is beautiful, having been renovated from an old tuscan building. The breakfast is wonderful with varied selection and the hotel offers midday snacks in the lobby, which was a plus for the boys. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is travelling to Florence!

Check in was smooth, and the staff verify kind and professional. The rooms were updated, clean and centered around a couple of inner courtyards which made it very quiet and removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. Location wise it is pretty close to all the major attractions.

Very good area to stay in! Yes, the rooms are on the smaller side (No desks to do work on), but it's extremely clean and well kept. The area is also very quiet and comfortable. No complaints from my family and I.

Great location to train station and gallery. Room looked nice initially, but we noticed a moldy smell to the room. The smell was only noticeable when the A/C was on. May need the filter or unit inspected.

Very nice modern hotel and very friendly staff. Good breakfast too. The AC was too really cold the first night but it was okay after adjusting the temperature ourselves. It’s a bit cold in the breakfast room too, but I guess it might be okay for some people. Highly recommended.

The service and rooms were good. What to expect: - Rooms are modern designed and clean - Concierge service is available till 7 pm, after that no one is available to help (only for emergencies). I had an issue where we tried to check out at 11 am and no one was at the counter to help. - Air Condition is really weak and the service team had to provide a separate fan in the room

Amazing hotel. Rooms are excellent and in a very good location. One particular staff member at reception (didn't catch his name) went out of his way to help us from dinner reservations to everything else!

Everything was good about this hotel. It was seriously one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had so far. First of all the room itself. After walking through a beautiful corridor, you will arrive in an amazing styled room with a very nice interior, a convenient small kitchen and a very nice bathroom with relaxing rain shower and very good beds and pillows. The communication with the manager was absolutely perfect. Because we could not arrive while the reception was still open, we got the best instructions through WhatsApp. We could always ask and reach the manager by sending a message. The breakfast was delicious. We had a choice between Sweet and Salty and switched a few times for variety but both options were great. The girl that hosts the breakfast was super friendly and quick and for the last day, when we had to leave / check-out before the kitchen was open she made sure we had breakfast in our own kitchen. In short: Beautiful hotel and great care and customer service for a good price. I couldn’t wish for anything more.

Great hotel, the rooms are awesome with really cute decorations. Everything was clean and the breakfast is perfect each day changing with something new. Everyone working in the hotel was awesome, but we have to point out the best part of our stay here, that was Kyran, always with the smile, always ready to help and word hard all day. Thank you all for the awesome experience.

Perfectly located in the center of Florence, but yet so calm. Beautiful, clean rooms & an excellent breakfast. Staff super friendly & polite. One of the best hotel experiences we had! Can’t wait to be back!

Such a lovely boutique hotel. We had a great time here. The breakfast is worth the add on and their service is wonderful. My only criticism is that I’m not sure what it is like in all rooms, but ours only had doors to open to get a breeze and that didn’t allow our room to really cool down at night, but we made it work.

Wonderful hotel and great, friendly staff! My family and I stayed in the apartment. We loved the space that it provided. Everything was very clean and the room was well stocked. The location was quiet and walkable to the city center with ease. We also got a delicious filling breakfast every day which was appreciated. We requested to have it in our room daily. The little fountain in the courtyard was a nice touch as well. We highly recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to return.
