Rooms were really nice and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Awesome location with trains, hop on hop off bus and supermarkets and restaurants within 2 mins walking. Awesome place however let down by the service. We waited 30 minutes on the street before we were let into the hotel even though we had emailed and messaged saying we were arriving at check in time of 3pm. We were told check out was between 10 and 10.30am so we were ready to go by then but no one was around for us to check out, so again we waited. Staff came knocking on our door at 9am to clean our room which woke us up and they opened the door without asking. Invading our privacy. Not happy about the service here and the shower is also very low pressure with no hot water.

Great room with lots of space. Located a few min walk to the central train station. Friendly staff who show genuine interest in making your stay comfortable. Self check in was easy for me, however involves multiple steps which I can imagine a tired traveller may not be up for. Loses a star due to: shower, both small and very low pressure; and sound in the outside corridor travels widely so you are at the whim of other guests being quiet when going to/frrom their rooms.

10 out of 10 - perfect! Great location, modern & stylish clean room, shower was very good. Nice balcony, wine & glasses available - quiet, even though close to the station and city center. Bed and cushions of high quality, very comfortable. Recommendation!

This is a great hotel, close to the train station! The room was beautiful, I loved the bed that was very comfy. The room was very clean (thank you to the lovely cleaning lady). Also the room provides free coffee and breakfast with a discount at "Mo'Si Caffetteria." (€4 per person) Thank you, Appolo! 🙂

The hotel has an excellent location. 3 minutes walk from the train station, and 10 minutes walk from the main attractions. The rooms are brand new, very spacious, and modern. The only downside is the AC, is not too cold, other than that everything was perfect. The owner is very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Taking in the sights that Florence has to offer. Apollo Guest House was super convenient to city center and the train. The self checkin went smoothly. Would definitely stay again. Very conveniently located. Walking distance from most everything there is to do and see: train station, grocery store, restaurants, tourist sites, etc. The guesthouse was clean. The room was satisfactory, clean with a small fridge and safe. The bathroom was clean, and a generous size. I would definitely recommend and stay again. Solo traveler, 1 night, October 2021.

Everything about Apollo Guest House was wonderful. It's in a great location short walks to everything. I would definitely stay here again!

Clean, modern, spacious and in a great location. One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed, located 5 minutes from the train station and 10 minutes from all the tourist sites, the room was clean, bright, spacious, and with a giant bed. The guess house is not staffed 24 hours but the owner arrived just after us to let us in and show us everything. Breakfast is not provided but the owner gave us vouchers for nearby café and there is also a supermarket across the street. The room had a nice balcony, the view wasn’t much but it was lovely to have breakfast out there or enjoy a wine in the afternoon sun. The only reason I’m not giving this place 5 stars is because the internal doors have no sound proofing and occasionally I was woken up by other guests using the vending machine or moving their bags down the corridor. I would definitely stay again though.

Courteous, friendly and helpful staff, super-comfortable bed, and nicely-renovated and clean room. The staff are on-site mainly 10am-4pm, but reachable with a phone call if you need anything during the off-hours. Although it’s on a busy street close to the train station, it’s actually very quiet inside, which we liked. To enter the room, you’ll have to pass through the main door to the building on the street level, the elevator door, the door into the hotel on the 4th floor and the bedroom door of course, each requiring a key to unlock. This made us feel very safe and secured while staying there. No breakfast is provided, but there is a vending machine in the hotel for coffee and snacks. A couple of things to note. We were asked to make the full payment while checking in, which is a different practice from the other 3 hotels we stayed at different cities in Italy. Also, one morning the hot water was out when I was about done with the shower. But it was restored about 30 minutes later when we returned to the room from breakfast. I mentioned this to the staff on duty, and they said it was most likely due to some machinery noise problem (if I understood correctly). But they said they have a 2000-liter-capacity hot water tank which should be adequate in case the water heater is shut temporarily. Regardless, overall it was a very pleasant stay of 3 nights at this place in Florence.

YES YES AND YES! I would book this hotel next time when I’m in Florence. Highly recommended. Friendly stuff. Perfect location. Clean. Mattress and Pillows are super comfortable. We had a room with balcony! We enjoyed that balcony so much! Please don’t look any further, because this is the place you’d wanna stay.

Pros: Centrally located, 2 min walk from the railway station and 8 min walk from Duomo, newly renovated. The check-in was smooth and we were allowed to check-in much before than the actual check in time. Cons: Owner at the reception is rude, the floor in the room is terribly cold despite the air condition worked well. As a result, you can't move in the room without shoes, or slippers. The rooms are not soundproofed, therefore, please be prepared to hear non-stop sounds from the corridor and reception, which is located just next to the rooms; when we stayed, the owner was kept on talking on the phone loudly, as if he doesn't care about the guests. Judgement: We will not stay here for sure next time when we visit Florence.

Our family of four stayed here for two nights in mid August 2022 and really enjoyed it. Florence is an incredibly walkable city but this guest house' location, just a few hundred meters from SM Novella station wad absolutely perfect. No need for a taxi to get to the hotel. Just walk down about half a block and there you are. Our room was positively wonderful. Very tastefully decorated. The guest house is a few floors up but there is an elevator so it was easy to get our luggage to our room. Staff made us feel perfectly welcome and even had our room ready early so we could just check in and go. The provided discount at the pasticcerie down the street was great for breakfast. Do absolutely follow their recommendations regarding the brasserie just down the street. I eat a lot of steak and their's easily made the top 5 best I've ever had. Honestly, of all the hotels we stayed at in Italy I think this one went the furthest out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Florence is a beautiful city that we plan to visit again, especially now that we've found the perfect place to stay!

Clean and location is good, you can left luggage in the apartment when you checked in or out.
