Courteous,
friendly
and
helpful
staff,
super-comfortable
bed,
and
nicely-renovated
and
clean
room.
The
staff
are
on-site
mainly
10am-4pm,
but
reachable
with
a
phone
call
if
you
need
anything
during
the
off-hours.
Although
it’s
on
a
busy
street
close
to
the
train
station,
it’s
actually
very
quiet
inside,
which
we
liked.
To
enter
the
room,
you’ll
have
to
pass
through
the
main
door
to
the
building
on
the
street
level,
the
elevator
door,
the
door
into
the
hotel
on
the
4th
floor
and
the
bedroom
door
of
course,
each
requiring
a
key
to
unlock.
This
made
us
feel
very
safe
and
secured
while
staying
there.
No
breakfast
is
provided,
but
there
is
a
vending
machine
in
the
hotel
for
coffee
and
snacks.
A
couple
of
things
to
note.
We
were
asked
to
make
the
full
payment
while
checking
in,
which
is
a
different
practice
from
the
other
3
hotels
we
stayed
at
different
cities
in
Italy.
Also,
one
morning
the
hot
water
was
out
when
I
was
about
done
with
the
shower.
But
it
was
restored
about
30
minutes
later
when
we
returned
to
the
room
from
breakfast.
I
mentioned
this
to
the
staff
on
duty,
and
they
said
it
was
most
likely
due
to
some
machinery
noise
problem
(if
I
understood
correctly).
But
they
said
they
have
a
2000-liter-capacity
hot
water
tank
which
should
be
adequate
in
case
the
water
heater
is
shut
temporarily.
Regardless,
overall
it
was
a
very
pleasant
stay
of
3
nights
at
this
place
in
Florence.
