Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Room was modern, spacious, clean and well equipped. Location was perfect, nice walking distance to all major sights. Spa was beautiful but only open late. Could do with opening in the morning. Overall, a really nice stay and would highly recommend.

A hidden gem. Spacious and clean rooms, wonderful terraces and a very welcoming and helpful staff. Close to the centre but not in it so away from the noise and overcrowding. The spa is the cherry on the cake although the temperature of the sauna and steam is a bit too low for normal standards. Overall a very pleasant stay.

While the hotel staff were super friendly, the room and hotel was generally clean enough and the location was great - an easy walk into center Florence - it seems like the type of place that was amazing when it opened but not properly maintained since, which is why I only am giving it 2 stars. The toilet brush fell off the handle so we had to fish that out of the toilet bowl šŸ¤¢ The shower soap rack was loose and close to falling out of the wall, the small flush was broken, one light in the room is flickering often and there were stains on the walls, ceilings (how?), doormat, curtains, carpets, etc., some wall sockets are loose and coming out the wall too and the bed was really hard and creeks a lot & two single mattresses in a ā€œdoubleā€ bed. I donā€™t mind a hard mattress.. but this wasnā€™t very comfortable at all. Furthermore, the tv is ancient - half the channels donā€™t work and all Italian - no chrome cast or smart tv options. Final critique of the room - one wine glass šŸ˜¢. Additionally there is a 1 hour / day pool policy which you can only start using on the hour - a little silly but fine I guess as a way to make sure that there arenā€™t too many people there at one time. The pool area was lovely otherwise. The sauna didnā€™t work though - barely warm šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļøThe jacuzzi on the other hand cost 50ā‚¬ without wine and 60ā‚¬ with. That pricing makes no sense (unless itā€™s a bad bottle of wine they are serving or make no profit on it). 50ā‚¬ without wine for the use of a jacuzzi (that during our stay we didnā€™t see in use) seems like a rip off. I cannot at all complain about the staff though as both reception staff and cleaning ladies were all super friendly!

We are really enjoyed everything from this apartment. Everything are perfect organised and the staff are friendly and helpful. Location is strategic between the centre and the district of musea. Definitely come back again.

Everything was perfect, the room is very large and the bed is super comfortable! We went to the roof top bar which was perfect, you can see amazing views of Florence with a lovely atmosphere in the evening. The staff go above and beyond the entire stay and make you feel so welcome, couldnā€™t ask for a more amazing stay!

My wife and I stayed here in one of their one bedroom King Bedroom apartments with a pull out in the living room and it was very good. Staying at this property, you are actually in a great location of Florence because you are just a little off the beaten path and a 3 minute walk to all the great activity of bars and restaurants on either side of the main road that it is on. Rooms are clean and bathrooms are spacious and nice. The entire "spa" experience leaves something to be desired however; Hot tub really isn't very hot and not worth the extra money, and both the sauna and steam room were not operational when we stayed for 8 days in September. The pool is very nice though. Staff very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again, decently priced also.

Perfect for our 4 day trip to Florence. 20 minute walk to the cathedral, lovely shops/cafes on the way. C2 & C3 buses start nearby, 15mins to south of the river. Room was large & modern (for Italy) with AC, fridge, hob, microwave, sink, very handy, all in working order. Best thing was the beautiful pool. Literally fell asleep by the pool, small but was never busy. Nice hammock beds beside it. Really cool steam room / sauna with touch controls & calming music. We didn't get breakfast here, think it's provided in a nice terrace near the reception. Rooftop was ok, no cover from the sun. Loved it here, would come back.

Ideal location for anyone visiting Florence, easy walking distance of the city centre and good transport links if planning to travel further afield. The staff are incredibly welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable of the local area. The rooms are clean and spacious, the breakfast is enjoyable with a range of options, the pool is a welcome bonus (especially on the hotter days!) and the rooftop terrace/ lounge area is very relaxing whilst giving excellent views over the city.

Very nice amenities like laundry room and breakfast. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating and always willing to help. The panoramic balcony had a great view of the city. Our room was fantastic and having a kitchenette was really useful. Only downside was that it was sorta far from the main attractions but not far enough that you had to take a cab.

Great apartments, clean and fresh, and close to Firenze centre. Nice rooftop jacuzzi with splendid views. The spa is nice for some resting (nothing extraordinary though). Highly recommended for a few days in Firenze.

We absolutely loved our stay at Forte16! Itā€™s an easy and pleasant 10min walk into town but sits just outside of the tourist area so you can access plenty of really great local trattorias. Itā€™s near a bus stop/route that takes you right into the centre (I am pregnant so saving the walk home after a day out was really amazing). The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Our rooms are modern and clean and spacious, and so convenient to have access to a little kitchenette. We loved having access to the pool / wellness center which we really appreciated after a long and hot day out. Our stay also included a rooftop jacuzzi experience with views of the city/Duomo and was such another amazing way to unwind and enjoy Florence. We would definitely stay here again next time. Thank you again, we have been raving about this place to friends.

Really nice place with very friendly, welcoming staff. Apartment was huge, clean and comfortable. Big thanks to Bashir working in the bar making amazing pizzas on the rooftop terrace! Cool place to chill out with a view after a long day sightseeing in the city.

Nice apartments and great views from the rooftop bar. Downside was they only supply 2 pods for coffee machine for a 3 night stay! They expect you to buy more at reception! Would have gave 4 stars otherwise.

We enjoyed our time here. The rooms are modern, clean and well kept. The best partā€¦ after spending two weeks in Italy The pizza on the balcony was quite possibly the best we have had!

Location is central, and hotel has parking which is great. Suite was nice and spacious and bathroom was clean. The indoor pool is relaxing, which was attached to a sauna. Friendly staff who speak English very well. Definitely recommend

Was brilliant. Been here for one day and the staff are exceptional, they are generous and they have extremely good English! We went up and had to pizza on the top floor and bacir was fantastic with his service and the pizzas he made were absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend staying here and going to the spa on roof (book), the pool/ sauna and restaurant youā€™ll love it!!

Perfect place to stay in Florence - especially with a kids or a car. Lots of parking available for 25ā‚¬ per night. We opted for the Suite with Terrace (room 403). We had a huge room with a nice bathroom, kitchen area and living area where our wee one slept (itā€™s the same room but itā€™s a different section so feels private). We also had a huge terrace with comfy sofas and a view towards the old town. We used the pool once which was nice but the sauna isnā€™t on all of the time which is a pity. The old town is about a 15-20 min walk but there are lots of really nice restaurants and bars within walking distance which felt much less touristy and the quality of the food and prices was excellent.

I will just say this - we travel to Florence at least 4/5 times a year and we always stay at Forte16. For us itā€™s home away from home. Great spacious clean apartments, great personal, spa, laundry and parking!

great accommodations such as on site parking, a/c, pool, elevators, dog friendly etcā€¦ rooms were very clean and very modernā€¦ staff are very friendly and fluent in english (BONUS!). gated area during after hours when staff leaves however they do have someone on call 24/7 (which i believe the person on call is onsite) .. we are a family of 4 (2 kids and 2 adults) they already converted the couch into a mattress with bed covers and pillows!! itā€™s seems pricey but it was worth every penny! i recommend!!! 10/10!!

We spent here 2 nights, very happy for the choice. Strongly recommended (if you have a car) to use their private parking since itā€™s almost impossible to park in Florence, even outside the limited traffic zone (ZTL) unless you are resident (white places) or paying (blue places). The hotel is located approx 20ā€™ walking from the city centre (i.e. Duomo) IMO a nice enjoyable stroll but plenty of bars and restaurants are 5-10ā€™ away. Comfy, clean and new modern rooms, great bathrooms with amazing shower, nice details (Nespresso coffee machine in the kitchen that we didnā€™t use, bathrobes, slippers). Fast and professional check-in, friendly staff. Thereā€™s a swimming pool that also we didnā€™t use, as well as a jacuzzi on the roof top, which you need to book. Overall a very recommendable option if you want to enjoy this beautiful city!

A good place to stay for a family trip to Florence. We really liked the closeness to the sights and the calm of the room after a long day in the city. + Family room is big, has a small kitchen and a real fridge + Close to all sights + Rooms are isolated very well and dark enough to sleep well + Very friendly staff + Car park directly under the hotel + Very clean and modern, very effective and calm A/C - Cheap matresses are far to hard - Hardly any place to store anything in the room, only a small wardrobe. No space to put the stuff in the bathroom, so itĀ“s messi all the time - DonĀ“t take the breakfast, itĀ“s horrible, even for Italy. You canĀ“t relax there as itĀ“s small, food quality poor, not even the coffee is acceptable. Go to the lovely "Ditta Artigianale" (5 mins. direction Duomo) instead where staff is friendly and you can have perfect italian coffee and a healthy tasty breakfast for a fair price.

Pefect location just at the edge of the old town, 1km from the Domo. Parking space on sight convenient when you arrive at night. Friendly staff. We had a spacious double bedroom ideal for a family of 4 (room 5) with acess to a garden / patio. The rooftop area is superb with views over the roofs of Firenze. The indoor swimming pool is great to relax after a long city walk.

Sleek, clean and modern rooms - perfect for families and solo stays. The mood lights at the indoor pool give it an extra relaxed vibe. The terrace bar has a view of all the various landmarks around the city centre - especially spectacular at night. Thereā€™s also a rooftop jacuzzi which I believe to be the highest in Florence! One evening, I was starving and went up to the terrace bar. Although the bartender had already turned off the oven for the night, he fired it back up again and made me a delicious pizza topped with mozzarella, gorgonzola and pear sprinkled with peperoncino and walnuts. Super warm and helpful staff too. Truly the best hotel in Florence :)
