Very pricey! Quality was ok at best. Def better places to get good gelato was half the price.

I am reading a lot of reviews talking about how expensive this place is. Yes I think $18 for three gelatos is a bit steep but it's not outrageous, especially when you consider we chose to sit down. I might not come here often but I wouldn't have a problem paying that on occasion when visiting the Ponte Vecchio.

€6.50 for a gelato, is was a big portion but none of us (3) were really wowed by the flavors we got (chocolate, salted caramel and almond). The servers weren’t rude to us, maybe standoffish but not friendly. We visited two other gelato places (on the other side of the river around the Duomo) today that were cheaper and better tasting with friendly staff. There were a bunch of tables and seats, so that was a plus.

Not nice. The gelato waas not a good quality gelato compared to the Classic taste of a nice creamy gelato. It was a little tasteless and the cones, the waffle cones taste old and dry. The chocolate around the cone tastes lie plastic and cheap. The price for these was not cheap, 5 Euro for 1 small cone, really? They also only let you have 1 flavour to taste and the ladies that worked there seemed quite uninterested in their job (most of them, not all). I would not recommend. Tourist trap

Incredibly rude service even when we tried to be extremely polite (and speak Italian). Everyone who worked there just seemed very unhappy and bothered by the customer's existence. Each employee we encountered was very rude & snippy. Ice-cream was mediocre at best - much better can be found most anywhere close by. Go where your business is at least somewhat appreciated. Obviously, they can only stay open due to the busy location/ area in which they're located. If they relied on repeat business, they'd not still be in business.

I went there for a gelato but I changed my mind when I saw bugs on them !!! this is too disgusting. Although the price is too expensive for a gelato, they don't have minimum cleanliness requirements. Also the staff are not welcoming at all.

Tourist trap. Three of us sat down for a coffee, I asked for 3x espresso macchiato. When it came to paying they charged us for three double coffees. I tried to argue that the price is almost triple of what we should pay for espresso but the whole staff just ignored me. I paid and left, didn’t want to spoil my holiday. Oh and the toilet - nothing against loos in basements but this one was a serious health hazard!

Pésimo todo, el gelato está aceptable pero el precio es muy alto, 8 €... eso no es lo peor, la atención de la persona que atiende horrible. Hemos visitado varios lugares en Italia y generalmente la gente es muy amable pero aquí todo estuvo mal.

This is supposed to be an Italian coffee with a little milk. The server was extremely rude. I wouldn't recommend it

The pastries were yummy and the coffee was average. Quite poor for Italy. We got massively up charged but decided to not say anything for the sake of politeness. We spoke italian to her and were incredibly kind so we’re even more shocked when we were charged €20 for 2 coffees and 2 croissants

Gelato is too expensive and doesn't taste good. The service is pushy and rude.

Please avoid this place!! I had the worst gelato is 8 euro (I had the best gelato at La Sprega for 4 euro). Service is terrible, lady with blonde hair was discriminating against non-Italians. I asked her to take out the beverage that I put on the counter before I paid and she said the system wouldn’t let her and told me I had to pay. I just paid since my mom was not feeling well and wanted to sit.

I’m no italian, yet I can still tell this thing is nothing close to affogato. And it’s €8! And the waitress spilt half of it on my trousers. And my trousers didn’t even like it. Toilet is downstairs in the cave and it’s like a 40 degrees sauna in there. Perfect place for whoever thinks summer’s too cold in florence.

非常的糟糕！糟糕的gelato！糟糕的服务员！我还记得两年前跟朋友来过这个地方，走了一天非常疲惫，店里没什么客人，朋友们点了玻璃杯装的gelato在店里用餐，我在旁边坐着睡着了。不到十分钟的样子，醒来后也想点一份gelato，我走到柜台前，店里的服务员却磨磨蹭蹭地假装背过身子在做事其实什么也没干，一直假装听不见我说话，直到我提高音量，她才转过身来，一脸不耐烦地问我要选纸杯还是玻璃杯作为容器。想着可以在路上边走边吃，我选择了纸杯，旁边也同样有说意大利语的一家人选择了纸杯gelato，坐在店里吃着。当我拿着gelato回到朋友们身边，准备收拾两分钟再离开，那个一脸grumpy的服务员却非常严肃地指着我叫我立刻出去。她解释说因为纸杯装的gelato不能留在店里用餐。我很诧异，旁边的一家人也是纸杯装，为什么只过来赶走我？而旁边的一家人都边吃着gelato边扭过了头，显然不想惹上麻烦。这位服务员依然不依不饶，而且态度越来越恶劣，我们再也待不下去…在吃过更多的意大利gelato之后，那天在这家吃过的味道我却想不起来了，也许是真的平平无奇。那位为难人的服务员，其实是一个不算普遍但也不算罕见的例子，在意大利很多移民或许并没有过着很好的生活，他们或许遭受歧视，在看到同样并非本地人（尤其我们只是三个年轻娇小又有礼貌的亚洲女学生），而她又拥有一点点哪怕只是服务员这样的权利，便想把自己受到的痛苦加诸于他人……这家店地理位置本来很优越，店名也起得很好，如果稍微花点心思在产品质量以及服务人员培训上面，就不会只得到这么低的评分了。

It is very expensive, but you could expect it from the location. The price is about three times more compared to other historical center places. However, that is not a shock considering that it’s Ponto Vecchio. They actually have the prices written down on the upper left side of the bar. Pros: - seating for ice cream inside an air-conditioned space; - great variety of gelatos; - table service with the outside seating; - a great place to rest for 10 minutes right on Ponto Vecchio. Cons: - they don’t let you taste any ice cream before buying; - the portions are just too big, and people are throwing more than half of it right in the bar’s trash bin; - the ice cream is way too sweet (sorbet is a bit better in this regard); - the ice cream comes without any extra cookies or decorations that usually are added for free in the cheaper places; - nothing is suited for those with milk allergy or vegans; even sorbets have some milk inside; - they don’t let you use their toilet even to wash your hands before or after eating ice cream if you didn’t use their table service.

shitty ass place ever. price is crazy. Gelato was 8 euro (been in Italy for more than 2 months, never paid this much for gelato) found hairs inside. two red bulls: 12 euro.?????? ABSOLUTELY INSANEE…thought red bull is with special ingredients but nothing special🤯🤯

Bar,servizio,personale,igene vergognoso!!!! Posti così dovrebbero chiudere urgentemente…il pessimismo di tutta Firenze!

Expensive and mediocre place. Other gelaterias can offer more than that for 8€ per 2 spoons of ice-cream

€3,50 per un (1 (il numero uno)) caffè senza un bicchiere d'acqua hahahaha. La cassiera si stava pure arrabbiando quando stavamo annullando l'ordine. Non hanno nemmeno il bagno. Se volete spendere soldi a caso andateci pure. Il caffè è sempre quello.
