Nice little café bar a couple of minutes away from Il Duomo. Inside it had a relaxed vibe about it and was a great place to have an early morning cappuccino. Large selection of pastries, friendly service, and the waitress was a bellezza.
Fantastic coffee and the price is fair, actually cheap in the area They have a wide varieties of pastries. The one I ordered is a chocolate one. It has a very crunchy bottom made of sugar. Too sweet for my taste but the texture is very interesting. I will definitely come back for the coffee
Echoing other comments that I read after. The panini were tasteless, the service confused and we only got half of what we ordered. We wouldn't recommend.
BE CAREFUL!!! The worst coffee place ever. Be careful what you pay for! They charge me 25 euro for 3 double coffees and 2 big bottles of wather. I had to remind them the prices so they can give me back 5 euro... they had to give back more, but anyway. And friendly reminder to the staff- they are other people on the planet that speak and understand Italian, comments like " look at him- he prepared 10 euro" are quite ugly! Ofcourse there was no recipe... So disappointed!
We recently discovered this delightful little café near Via Roma – Robiglio. The coffee was smooth and rich, served in beautiful red cups that added a touch of charm to the experience. The pastries were fresh, flaky, and absolutely delicious – especially the croissant with a creamy filling and the apricot tart. Everything looked as good as it tasted. Sitting on the small terrace, we soaked in the quiet elegance of this side street, just a few steps away from the vibrant city buzz. A wonderful place to take a break, slow down, and enjoy a sweet moment in Florence. Enjoy your stay here and have a fantastic time! 👋
Rude service. We asked if there were washrooms for paying customers. The lady working said yes and told my daughter where to find them. My daughter couldn’t find them and came back to ask for help. I went to help show her and the worker told me to pay first. More concerned with getting their 2euro 1 minute sooner than patience or kindness. Even answering other customers questions seemed like an annoyance. Give someone else your business.
Went there for a quick breakfast and was quite appalled with the rudeness of the guy tat made us cuppacino. He was very close to throw the spoon onto my cuppa plate. And €4 for a cup of hot chocolate, that's a little too much...
What a scam this place is And very rude woman behind the counter Paid 13 euros for 2 coffee and a croissant Normally 6 euros Stay clear of this place
It's a very cozy place to stay ❤️ the staff are very kind too.. i tried a piece of cheese cake and it was great ❤️ thank u so much 🌷
I saw this place and thought it looked like a traditional Italian cafe.I went in to get coffee told by the lady making the coffee at the bar to pay first.I queued up was then told by the lady at the till if I want to sit in take a table and waitress will come. The lady at the till could see I had been waiting for along time. I sat for 15-20 mins no one came I walked out .Silly system in place.
There were five of us in total—two were ordering takeaway, while the other three planned to dine in. We were already aware before coming that the prices for takeaway and dine-in were different. While I was paying and waiting for the coffees, the two friends who ordered takeaway sat down for a moment. The owner immediately stood up and told them to leave. Even after I repeatedly explained that we understood the price difference and they would leave as soon as they got their drinks, the owner still insisted they leave with a very rude attitude. The service was honestly terrible. If you don’t have a lot of patience, I strongly advise against coming here—it could ruin an otherwise wonderful day.
As tourists, they charged us an additional €14 for a table for three people and informed us only after we had already bought coffee and desserts. The staff was rude, and the cornetto was not good
I like honest businesses — this one is definitely not one. The prices they display are for takeaway. However, if you dine in, you will pay two times more. It wouldn’t be such a big deal if they told you, but they don’t even mention it, nor do they ask if you want to sit down — they simply point that they will bring what you order to the table. In our case, we sat down for three minutes and ended up paying €18 instead of -€9.
coffee and pastries are ok, but the attitude towards customers is disgusting. We took coffee and a croissant, asked to pour the coffee into a cup for takeaway, paid the same as the last time when we took it from their cafe. But they did not let us use their table, they said if you asked for takeaway, then go wherever you want and did not let us sit in the cafe. We asked for takeaway because we were waiting for a car and wanted to be ready to leave as soon as it arrived. We had to stand with bags in our hands and coffee on the side of the road.
The woman behind the cash charged us for a drink we never got and charged us 5 euro to sit at a table when the cafe was empty and we had spent money on our other beverages. We paid to sit, she then told a waiter that we did not pay and proceeded to yell at us in front of everyone, attempted to clear our drinks while we were sipping them. Horrible experience, go anywhere else.
Do NOT go here. Most overpriced place in the whole of Italy. Total rip off. €13 for 2 coffees, cornetto and small pastry. They charge you just to sit at the table, even if it’s only for less than 5 minutes and the place is empty… That’s not even the worst part of the experience. The pastry was days old, super stale. Beware!
Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, la signora che ci ha servito è stata molto gentile e disponibile. Unica pecca: l’arroganza della cassiera, che ha dimostrato poca collaborazione al momento del pagamento
As an Aussie travelling Florence, I understand the charge up. But I don't expect to spend over €30 and take out an extra mortgage to get a two coffees and two miniature sandwiches
Rude staff, very abrupt, food not great. Over priced and seem to be extra charges for sitting to the side outside. No air con inside. 18 euros for a croissant and 2 drinks!
Il locale si presenta bene se non fosse che il servizio al tavolo ti raddoppia il conto alla cassa. Brioche neanche troppo buone, sopratutto troppo appiccicose
테라스 뷰가 너무 좋아요
DO NOT GO HERE! From the outside this looks like a cozy Italian cafe. I entered to get a table and at the counter was confronted by the most unpleasant waitress. It was very noisy and she was speaking Italian but not looking directly at me with a card machine in her hand . At this point local patrons were behind me trying to cut in to pay. I thought she was addressing the locals behind me and she then proceeded to suddenly shout in my face “speak woman!", then decides to insult and mock me with another patron. Who talks or behaves like that? So unbelievably rude, aggressive and mean spirited. I wish I had read the poor reviews and avoided this cafe. Do not work in hospitality if you cannot be hospitable.
