Ein hervorragendes Restaurant! Ich bin wegen der guten Bewertungen hier her gekommen und kann genau diese wieder zurück geben. Das Essen ist einfach hervorragend - von Portionsgröße über Schnelligkeit bis hin zu Geschmack - ausgezeichnet! Der Service ist immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hier ist wirklich jeder auf Zack, weiß genau was er tut und ist immer freundlich. Danke!

Das Gioia liegt im Herzen von Alt Sachsenhausen und ist einen Besuch Wert. Das Essen schmeckt sehr lecker. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Menükarten für die Kinder finde ich besonders schön. Dann haben die kleinen Gäste etwas zum Malen und somit Unterhaltung. Es hält direkt die Buslinie 30/36 vor dem Restaurant. Mit dem Auto muss man sich Zeit für die Parkplatzsuche einplanen.

Wir waren zwei Nächte, kurz vor Weihnachten, in Frankfurt und hatten das Glück das GIOIAG durch Zufall zu entdecken. Das Restaurant war bezaubernd geschmückt, das Personal sehr herzlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Selbst als wir am zweiten Abend früh essen mussten, da wir ein Konzert hatten, wurden wir -trotz Ende der eigenen Weihnachtsfeier- super nett bedient. Man merkt den Team-Spirit des Restaurants. Meine Frau liebte den Tunfischsalat und dem Rest hat es auch sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Nachtisch, ein Traum 😋. Obwohl das Restaurant sehr eng bestuhlt ist, haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Am Tisch ist Oregano, Chiligewürzt etc. vorhanden. Toll. Wir würden das Restaurant gerne mit ins Ruhrgebiet nehmen ;-) Guten Rutsch ans ganze Team 🍀. Danke für die beiden netten Abende 🤗

Das Essen ist ganz lecker, aber nichts besonderes. Vor allem die Preise sind dafür ziemlich happig. Bei der Vorspeisenplatte für 4 Personen war nur ein Brot dabei, das fanden wir echt ziemlich wenig. Es gibt relativ viele vegane und vegetarische Gerichte, aber veganer Käse kostet z.B. 2,50€ Aufpreis. War insgesamt in Ordnung, aber ich würde eher nicht nochmal dort essen.

The food was great, the atmosphere is great. The only problem it's that it's too busy so you better go there early or book a table ahead of time. They also have a giant oven for their oven baked pizza

Just a awesome place for wonderful seafood and more. The staff was welcoming and always had a smile. Eating outside on a beautiful summers day with a gentle breeze made the experience that much better. My son and I will return.

Surprisingly one of the best restaurants we‘ve tried in Frankfurt - delicious flavours bursting with every bite of the Mediterranean platter: thick creamy hummus, light and crispy falafels (nice surprise that they are green inside), juicy chicken kebob with refreshing cucumber and tomato salad (I‘m usually not a fan of either vegetable but this was seriously tasty!) We also tried deep-friend calamari. It‘s everything you‘d expect: fresh, lightly dusted and crispy. As somewhere we only looked up for a quick dinner before a movie, we hit the jackpot and will definitely go back to try other dishes!

Came in by myself one friday night, no reservation made. The place was crowded but the waitress found me a table. Nice atmosphere, a bit loud but people were having a good. The food was great, I ate the Pappardelle Pollo and was very pleased. Hope to come back sometimes.

Sehr leckeres Essen. Gut für Vegetarier und Veganer. Es gibt viele Alternativen :) Service war aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir hatten sogar glück kurzfristig einen Tisch zu bekommen. Man sollte aber reservieren das Restaurant war sehr voll

As the restaurant is located close to the party area so this is a good place for a late-night supper. They serve Mediterranean food and good drinks with fair price.

Tolles Restaurant, Essen super lecker und kurze Wartezeiten. Vor allem das Focaccia ist super lecker!! Ambiente toll, ein bisschen zu warm. Auf jeden Fall vorher reservieren da gut besucht. Kommen gerne wieder <3

Fabulous lil' local spot with delicious fresh food. Had the Pan-Seared Sea Bream in White Wine Lemon Sauce accompanied with mashed sweet potatoes and quinoa salad. Absolute PERFECTION! Service was also great. It's a terrific local spot off the beaten path. Kudos to the entire team. Looking forward to my next visit.

I had a lunch there, when the rest restaurants in the area are still closed. Amazing sea food! I've enjoyed the fried fish with prawns, mussels and squid! Served with fantastic sause that reminded me the comfort of childhood and grandma's care.😋. The draft beer is also decent.

We were walking the city and we found GIOIA. The place has charm with its colourful decoration and a very nice space outdoors. I had a vegetarian dish, that was delicious and my friend, a huge plate of pasta that he founded very tasty. The staff was very friendly and up for communicating and helping us, regarding general questions about the city. For those who speak Spanish, its refreshing to find a place that has people who can speak to you in your own language. Recommended.

The best experience ever in European continent. The waiter was the nicest in Germany! ( The two male waiters working for the outdoor terrace. They brought me the freshest bread and sauce when I asked and was being very very friendly ) I was gonna tip for them but didnt know how to do so with the card reader machine 😨 Anyway anyone who are thinking to drop by here, dont hesitate !

I have been here a couple of times I must say the service varies based on who is serving you. Some of the staff is extremely friendly while the others are the total opposite. Nevertheless the food is tasty and you have an option to combine two of my favourites Mediterranean and italian. I recommend this place if you happen to be in lokalbahnof but don't except very good service.

What a great dinner! We had the truffle gnocchi and it was amazing. The dish is baked with mushrooms and parmezan cheese. My partner had the vegan pizza and it was also great. Prices were fair and the menu was diverse!

Excellent food, but not suitable for Muslims. My Coconut Cocktail was delicious. The WC is located at the top of the building; I recommend going up there to admire the view.

We found this restaurant on New Year's Eve as we were looking for a place to take the family to dinner that was open. The food was great and so was the service and they did very well at accommodating ten people at the spur of the moment. The menu had a lot of choices including kids food of which we had four. Also the servers spoke English which was a big help for my wife and I. Their menu was also in German and English, all in all it was a very wonderful experience.

Quality of food is not as good as it was at the beginning. When i first tried this restaurant early this year, the pasta was very delicious and tasty. Like it was different than any other pasta i tried anywhere else and i used to recommend this place to everyone i know. My fav was salmon pasta and marinara pasta. Unfortunately, i visited the restaurant today and two weeks ago, and the pasta was so bad on both days. It’s so sad to see the quality of food getting worse and the price getting higher!

Dine-In is great. Friendly service, variety of great dishes. Pizza is greatly recommended. Delivery is also reliable and delicious!

We had the business lunch menu, starter, soup or salad, main and a drink around 10 euro per person. Super good value and tasty. We order grilled calamari with wasabi mayo extra. So around 15euro add on it. What a satisfied meal. Spaghetti is a bit soft to me but still taste nice, the mushroom cheese truffle pizza amazed me. Recommended.

Cannot be said clear enough. Food is fantastic, portions are very good and its reasonably priced. The menu is guaranteed to have something you enjoy and you cannot go wrong. Fish, pasta and pizza's are all great. The hummus is fantastic! Try their mixed mediterranen entré, you won't he dissapointed. Their servers are also very friendly en helpful. For the less stellar parts, it takes a very long time to he served or even approached for drinks; despite the restaurant being at around 70% capacity. After eating we ordered one last glass of wine and a coffee...alas, after 20 min they never came and we requested to pay..drinks were on the tab and at this point do they realized they never brought them. Mistakes happen, but I feel with 5 people behind the bar and the restaurant not even close to being full its hard to justify. Also understand that this spot is very much into the "party" area and a lot of people come here for a drink before heading into Sachsenhausen, but the music made conversations difficult enough that I could hear the conversation of those on tables around (since they had to raise your voice). I will certainly go back again, to give the service another try since the food was great, perhaps in the middle of the week where the music might not be as loud. All in all would recommend, specially before going out.
