We stayed here overnight before our Monington National Park walk. For those not driving, a short walk from Frankston Railway Station or the shopping area. The room was plain but comfortable, and quiet despite being located under the bar area. Off street carparking available behind Cheeky Squire.

First visit to this place but not the brand. The place is underneat the restaurant thus need the restaurant enterance for the first time but once get the card, can use side door. It has 11 rooms in total which facing the waterway. The room is clean n neat. It has all needed during travelling, plus it offers complementary drinks in the fridge. The showers n toilet is clean n modern in look. Definitely recomended..

Do not stay at this place! From the check in to the room, our experience was terrible. Some examples: 1. Reception was not open and when you call the bell no one answers even though it was 6pm on a Friday. There is no signage suggesting how you can actually check in 2. The person checking refused to let us use our card for the deposit even though it was a credit card. Also, unlike other places that take cards for mini bar etc., the reason they need to take a card swipe is in case "you damage the room!" 3. The whole place smelled like bed bugs 4. The 'breakfast' is a plastic box with some cereal and UHT milk 5. The delightful interior between the rooms and receptio is a metal gate that basically makes the place look like a prison. Basically the experience was like a bad $25 a night hostel. For the price (over $200 per night) you would be much better placed staying at other places in the area.

Wasn't really expecting much due to location and all but room was really nice. Weekends get busy and rowdy there so it can be a little worrying if you are out there alone. Had dinner at the pub and enjoyed that too.

Great accommodation! Could have better restrictions around public being able to congregate near accommodation rooms after midnight.

We love this place. Really offordable, on the beach with amazing staff who when I had a one year old fussing as we arrived instantly jumped to help and bring more towels. The food is incredible. This is the second time staying and will be booking again when we come up in another month or so.

Wasn't sure what to expect when staying in Frankston for work, but was quite pleased with my stay. Comfortable room, good location and room service food from the adjoining cheeky squire was a winner.

It was a nice bed and place, very near the PIER beach ,very nice.but the shower -Cool water button had some trouble, anyway everything all nice. Breakfast meal box was tiny and cute, not too bad. If you want more close to beach this place is good to stay .

No secure car parking, got to remember it’s pub above so evening noise of barrels being moved and rekegged. Lovely accommodation and the food is very very good

Staff was cordial but not easy to find, especially when restaurant was busy or closed, so don't expect you can find help when needed... not even when we checked out. Wifi was slow, 3Mbps, intermittent, and not easy to logon . location is close to beach, and 7 minutes from mall.

Excellent. Clean. Comfortable. After hours check in very handy as our flight was delayed. Only thing that could be improved is the height of the shower rose ... not good for tall people. Fortunately I didn't have to wash my hair so no probs for me.

Clean and well equipped. Only 11 rooms. Rooms 1-6 are under the dining area so you can hear some noise on Fri Sat nights. 7-11 are under car park so quiet. Food upstairs is great. Service is better than great. Parking can be difficult Fri Sat.

The hotel room was really clean and surprisingly quiet given the restaurant/bar was upstairs. Our room didn't have any toilet paper though, and we were rudely woken up by someone banging very loudly in the middle of the night on our door. We were assuming they were possibly other drunk guests trying to find their room. The atmosphere and live music were great. Not a great view from anywhere and not much in the area.

The One bedroom apartment was new, modern, spacious and clean. Has a challenge on controlling the temperature from the shower tap . The toiletries was a disappointment as of low quality. Staff was friendly but we didnt like the location. The room is below the restaurant and pub facing the back car park. The restaurant foods was average as we ordered the steak in medium rare and medium but both comes in medium done. The beers were nice thou !

Excellent customer service - my stay was an emergency last minute booking and the girls were wonderful as I was in tears by the time I checked in at 6pm! The room was lovely and comfortable and made the rest of my night so much less stressful. Definitely going to stay there again. Food was also delicious. Only downside was they didn’t answer the phone when I rang so it was a bit hard to get in contact with them.

Got everything I need for the two night stay here in the room. The TV came with Netflix account, nice shower and bathroom as well as comfortable pillow and bed. Situated next to the beach and less than an hour drive all the way to Point Nepean down at Mornington Peninsula.

My Dad and I were staying over at the nightcap for 2 days for a bowling tournament in Frankston. Despite Frankston having such a bad reputation, This Hotel was amazing! For Starters, The service was good, There was this really nice lady at the reception that was very helpful and informative on our room, She even wished me good luck at the bowling tournament! The Rooms were immaculate, Clean bathroom with minimal marks on the door, Very clean sheets, Amazing view of our car and the beach outside, Had a Smart TV with Netflix which I got to binge all night and to top it all off, The free pen. It says "Stolen from The NightCap" so we got a free pen! The area was greatly maintained and very clean and safe, the only alarming things about my trip here was the 2 eshays outside the BWS, the overwhelming amount of shaved heads and mullets around us, and the empty vodka bottle in the entrance of the hotel. 10/10 Would book here again, (Get Room #8, You will not regret it)

Service is absolutely terrible. From the minute I checked in the receptionist which I didn't get his name had sassy attitude. Jenny was so rude on the phone I then needed to sign paperwork as I extended she couldn't have been more rude if she tried. If you don't like customer service darl don't do work in it. It's literally your job to be nice.

Paid $211 for each night,to have a toilet seat that had a pubic hair on it,the toilet seat didn't even fit the toilet. There were no designated parking spots for rooms, the restaurant patrons filled up the carpark,so couldn't get a park. You enter through the back door where deliveries are made,no nice reception area.Lots of noise from restaurant above.Chairs and table banging around.Just a basic motel room, would never stay again.

😐 Tried this place and my experience was not that great. The food quality is not good & taste is below average. Not sure why this place is famous when there are many restaurants that serve great Indian food with quality, quantity & price.
