The gentleman in a baseball cap manning the bar on Saturday, 8/19 when I stepped in around 11:15a to order three drinks and four burgers was likely the most rude, (probably) racist and anti-family server I I have come across. It was a busy time at the bar for sure, and we had put our orders in and waited for about 45 minutes before inquiring around canceling the food order as we closed our tab. His response when I'd politely & apologetically let him know that we had to close out due to our babies' nap schedule: 'that's why we don't allow babies in the bar. Adults have a schedule too and need to nap' and snickered at me and my black girlfriend. I replied that it was my first time at the establishment and he made it abundantly clear we and our families were not welcome at the bar,

Busy on Saturday evening, but great waitstaff. You may wait a while to get your food, but there's a nice assortment of bar food from which to order.

We all had a good time even though we were feeling a little ignored by staff.....maybe we watch too much Bar Rescue!! I'll have to say, I loved my hot dog I had when it finally arrived an hour later!! FYI! Dog friendly!! The cutest, most well behaved furry baby came in w/ his human and sat at the bar!!

Back in the day, before their disastrous kitchen fire, this place was a high energy source of quick and generously portioned pub food that rivaled your Mcminnins and what not. While the food is still largely satisfying, it takes waaay longer to come out (The kitchen staff moves like molasses you can see them through the window) and the people behind the counter aren't as friendly and attentive as the previous. Still, really good burgers, soups and sandwiches.

Friendly waitress says, "we have the best burgers in Multnomah County," I ordered the blue-cheese burger, it was the best burger I have had in years. Small local place, very nice staff, excellent food, every bite was delicious. Does not look like much from the outside, but real soul inside, full of local color, easy-going unassuming place, I will be back to try more food items for sure!

They don’t even have enough space for you to sit down and eat so they tell you you have to order to-go but then they charge you a to-go fee? Like, why? How is that fair when it’s your fault I even have to order to-go. We then had to wait almost an hour for our order of two burgers and fries, and at the 40min mark, the servers brought an order of fries out from the kitchen and asked the bar patrons if anyone wants free fries. Like what? Was the cook spending 40min making free fries to give away before he got to our order?

My favorite bar/ restaurant in Portland! Delicious food, cold beers, and THE best margaritas! Ooh and Spanish coffees in the winter!👌 10 stars! AND it's in cute Multnomah village!

My entire Togo order was wrong except a side of fries. We ordered 4 burgers and not a single one was modified to our specifications. When I called to ask for a refund , I was told “I’m not sure how to do that” “but I will take care of it” the man took my name. Needless to say I was never refunded, $61 dollars down the drain. What a complete disappointment in food and service. I would Not recommend this place !!!

Ordered dinner at 6pm, and by 7:25 nothing came out. Every time I checked, they said “just a minute”. We were the only order in the queue. Ended up leaving without food (even though I paid my tab) and went to McDonalds. Terrible. Pathetic. Dirty.

Have not been here after the remodel. Great food. There is an off menu. On the off menu, which has a double hamburger with 2 grilled cheese sandwiches as buns. Huge beast. The waitresses said it's their most popular to go item. Today I had a salad,,,,,and onion rings.

I like this place, Sunday brunch is different but good. The bartenders humor is dry but will crack you up

Great place. Very good food and bevies. Very nice, kind, friendly staff. Great ambiance. The big screens are great to watch sports. Wonderful historic spot in Multnomah Village.

Very rude!! I was shocked and offended how bartender greeted us! I do NOT recommend this place!!

Not sure about these other reviews. Just happened upon this place. Really good prices, and the bartender Karissa was very welcoming. Wish I lived closer!

It's ALL GOOD.... EVERYTHING. Our waitress was the best ya gotta try this place.....cool atmosphere..... nostalgic
