Our celebration took place in the afternoon in the beautiful garden, for the evening we had rented the architecturally impressive and very spacious barrel vault of the Künstlerhaus on the 1st floor. In addition to the wonderful premises, we were very impressed by the nice team at Cafe Flaschena and the culinary variety of the catering. We had wanted vegan-vegetarian cuisine, and we received very creative suggestions from Joaquin von Dehn and his team. Everything tasted wonderful, both for our guests and for us, from the appetizers at the reception to a great evening buffet and the final breakfast the next day. Die Lage ist wirklich besonders, eingebettet in die wunderschön hügelige Landschaft am Ortsrand von Freising. Unsere Feier fand am Nachmittag im schönen Garten statt, für den Abend hatten wir das architektonisch beeindruckende und sehr großzügige Tonnengewölbe des Künstlerhauses im 1. OG angemietet. Neben den wunderbaren Räumlichkeiten waren wir vom netten Team des Cafe Botanika und der kulinarischen Vielfalt des Caterings sehr begeistert. Wir hatten uns vegan-vegetarische Küche gewünscht, dazu bekamen wir sehr kreative Vorschläge von Joaquin von Dehn und seinem Team. Unseren Gästen und uns hat alles wunderbar geschmeckt, von den Häppchen zum Empfang über ein tolles Abendbuffet bis hin zum Abschlussfrühstück am nächsten Tag. Auch der Service war klasse, das junge Team ist mit Begeisterung bei der Sache und auf unsere Wünsche wurde sehr individuell eingegangen. Gerne empfehlen wir das Cafe Botanika und diesen wunderbaren Ort weiter!

But I continued up the hill and finally found what seemed to be a sort of art exhibit...still unsure about finding food here, I went inside and found the comfortable cafe with a weekly changing menu as well as a regular menu of breakfasts, lunch, and drinks. There are more than enough attractive and healthy options for vegetarians and even vegans, including milk alternatives for espresso drinks. Everything I ordered was delicious and nicely presented. Highly recommend for breakfast, lunch, or brunch!

Das Frühstücksbuffet und die warmen Gerichte schmeckten uns sehr gut. Gleichzeitig konnte im Europäischen Künsterhaus -hier ist ja das Cafe Botanika geräumig integriert- die aktuelle Ausstellung bewundert werden. Ein Highlight ist sicher auch ein Aufenthalt bei schönem Wetter im Garten. Hier sind abwechselnde Sitz- und Aufenthaltsbereiche, eine Bühne und viel Grünes. Fazit: Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder. One of the coziest local cafes I've been so far. They have a really huge outdoor area with a great view where you can relax and enjoy your afternoon. Perfect place for plane spotting as well! The staffs were really nice and friendly, but the cakes and coffee were just okay. I'll definitely come back for the wonderful ambience 👍
