went
to
Anthem
website
to
find
an
in-network
provider
and
result
came
up
w
Dr.
LIU
at
Illinois
Street
location
in
Fresno.
I
called
to
schedule
an
appt
on
my
lunch
break,
12:30pm,
but
their
office
is
closed
for
lunch
between
12:30-1:30pm!
After
finally
being
able
to
get
through
to
someone,
I
was
placed
on
hold
for
several
minutes
(this
happened
each
time
I
called).
I
explained
that
I
wanted
to
sch
an
appt
w
Dr
LIU,
they
took
my
insurance
information
&
explained
to
me
that
I
needed
to
wait
up
to
24
hours
for
them
to
run
my
insurance.
I
was
told
that
I
would
get
a
call
back
to
schedule
an
appt.
A
week
passed
and
no
return
call.
I
called
back
&
again
I
was
told
that
they
had
to
run
my
insurance,
they
said
they
had
nothing
on
file
for
me.
Frustrated
as
I
was,
I
still
gave
them
my
information
again
and
waited
for
the
return
phone
call.
Three
days
later
I
did
NOT
hear
back,
I
called
them
a
3rd
time
and
again
they
did
NOT
have
my
information
and
asked
to
run
my
insurance
AGAIN
-
3rd
time!!!
Unbelievable!
I
haven't
even
made
my
appt
at
this
point.
I
did
get
a
return
call
two
days
later,
they
left
a
voicemail,
but
I
had
trouble
calling
when
they
were
NOT
at
lunch
because
my
lunch
hour is
at
the
same
time
as
theirs!
I
finally
got
in
touch
with
them
&
made
an
appt.
When
my
appt
date
was
approaching
I
called
them
back
to
verify
the
address,
they
told
me
that
they
did
NOT
schedule
me
w/
Dr.LIU,
they
scheduled
me
with
Dr
LEE!
WOW!!!!!!
They
had
to
change
my
appt time
and
apologized.
I
finally
made
it
to
the
long-awaited
appt
but
I
did
not
have
my
physical
medical
ID
card
with
me,
I
had
a
digital
copy
on
my
phone.
I
was
turned
away
because
they
would
not
accept
my
digital
card.
Mind
you,
I
had
my
valid
CA
DL
with
me,
they
had
already
run
my
insurance
3
times
but
per
their
"policy"
they
would
not
see
me
without
the
physical
card!
I
asked
to
see
the
policy
language
about
this
member
Id
card
and
they
could
not
provide
anything.
I
was
escalated
to
Yong
Lee
by
Reyna
but
at
that
point
they
all
had
made
up
their
mind
that
they
would
not
see
me
because
I
could
not
present
the
physical
Anthem
Blue
cross
medical
ID
card.
I
was
calm
and
professional
the entire
time,
I
asked
if
there
was
anything
that
they
could
do
because
it
was
very
difficult
for
me
to
schedule
time
off
from
work
but
they
simply
refused
and
stopped
listening
to
me. It
was
a
disappointment,
a complete
waste
of
my
time
and
energy
in
trying
to
seek
medical
attention
with
a
doctor,
who
I
read,
was
highly
acclaimed.
Makes
me
wonder
how
true
that
is
with
the
lack
of
customer
service
and
insensitivity
her
staff
provides.
I
can't
imagine
patients
would
want
to
return
after
the
way
they
are
treated,
especially
at
the
Illinois
location.
I
witnessed
other patients
as
they
were
being
checked
in.
I
wonder
if
I
would
have
had
the
same
experience
if
Dr
Liu's
office
was
located
in
North
Fresno.
Such
a
shame!
