My daughter has 5 styes in both of her eyes and we have been in the process of resolving this issue with Kaiser Permanente since July. Either the doctors are not qualified to work on children or just want money for medicine. My daughters eyes have gotten to the point we're they are swelling shut and she is pain. They told us to keep washing her hands and warm compresses and it has not worked at all.We took her to the ER today after speaking with a kaiser representative at 5:18 telling us they would have a doctor look at her eye. When we arrived we had a RN perscribe eye drops for 435.00 with health insurance and they recommend we keep washing her eye and no doctor would be seeing her.I will be pursuing this further because this type of work especially on children is not acceptable or professional.

They brushed off all the symptoms my wife was showing of preeclampsia. Took 3 visits for them to say she should’ve been monitored much closer. Bottomed out her blood pressure, she almost passed out, which they also tried to brush off telling her she had anxiety. Got to a new hospital and the Dr. told us right away they should’ve diagnosed her with preeclampsia. They said she had severe PE and also was anemic, which Dr. at Kaiser failed to mention. Very worried for her postpartum care there as well as for the care for my newborn. For the amount of money I hear they pay their employees, she’s had very bad experiences there.

I’m leaving this review since it’s so difficult to leave feedback for the hospital. In fact, I “conveniently” kept getting an error, because my message used characters like periods. REALLY?! It is disturbing how many patient alarms are ignored. I’ve been sitting in my wife’s room and the alarms on her monitoring machines are constantly going off and no one checks them. Furthermore, how is a patient to THRIVE and get some much needed rest, when the alarms are constantly ON. What’s the point of an alarm if EVERYONE, including you (anticipating no response to my concern) are ignoring them? I guess the ONLY alarm Kaiser is concerned about is your heart rate monitor. They wouldn’t want you to die without paying your bill first. They would prefer to ignore you and let you live in pain and misery, as long as you pay your premiums and co-payments. THRIVE so we can pay those, not actually live a healthy and enjoyable life. It is June 7th at 8:45 am in room 412 at the Kaiser Hospital in Fresno, and my wife’s alarms have been going off for the past hour. No one has even stopped to look into the room. Kaiser is the ABSOLUTE worst insurance anyone could spend hard earned money on. Please don’t make the same mistake we did.

My daughter was a patient in he ER on 2/23. Was diagnosed with likely ovarian cancer. A biopsy was ordered to determine origin and treatment plan. She was sent home without the biopsy saying it would probably be 10-14 days before being done, even though the order was put in as a priority. This is totally unacceptable healthcare for something that could kill her. If this is the kind of care they give their patients, it is deplorable and so very disgusting. How can a facility like Kaiser be so dismissive.

Well the staff members over the phone sure no how to make you feel just sooo terribly destroyed if you’re gonna be late for your appointment. They cancel you! And then they can’t even schedule you for another appointment same time and day next week. Apparently I gotta wait till tomorrow for someone to call me now to see when they can give me new appointment..? Sheesh is it going to be next month lol Not all of them are bad but the ones I talked to Sunday 8-21-22 around 3pm need immediate improvement asap🙏😇

The Kaiser Permanente hospital at Fresno is a state of the art facility with dedicated doctors, nurses, and medical staff. The facility is clean and easy to enter. The hospital is big so be sure to arrive early if you are trying to find a new department. There are plenty of parking spots at the front entrance.

The care of your patients is not a priority. My sister received the DX of ovarian cancer almost 3 weeks ago. And very little followup in a timely manner has been done. The cancer is progressing rapidly and if it wasn't for my family advocating for her care, taking her to the hospital and such they wouldn't even have done the biopsies til next week was scheduled for the 16th. Last night she was admitted with severe pain and it has progressed. Do your job! Do the job you have committed to do in care for your patients and as physicians. These are human beings and your complacency and lack urgency is dangerous. I'm truly disappointed in your services and I have zero faith in your ability to offer true care.

I was really disappointed going to the ER. I understand they are busy and overwhelmed. I was running a fever 103.4 before I went in. Severe headache, chills, very weak and dizzy. After waiting in the lobby for 2 hours, the Doctor spoke to me for maybe 3 minutes and said I just had the flu. But let’s go ahead and get a Covid test just in case. Went ahead and sent me home even though I was so sick. 8 hours later I get an online message that I’m positive. I guess if I had acted like I was dying, they would have been a little more attentive. But, it’s all good. I got this at home by myself.

For all the kaiser system... If you have a simple cold or ear infection, kaiser will help you. If you have anything more serious that needs to be treated, then you will be bounced around the kaiser hospital system for years and never get any real help. If you are lucky, they will refer you out and then you will be out of kaiser and you will get real help. Kaiser needs a rework of their system to help patients with more critical illnesses.

I have never seen or experienced such a compassionate doctor when my mother Maria D was admitted to the 4th floor and was under the care of Dr Cynthia Wallace, she is amazing and honestly gave my mother another chance of life. I wish there were a lot more doctors like Dr Wallace in this world. My sisters and I are very grateful and blessed to have meet Dr Wallace. Diaz Daughters

Worst emergency room experience we've been to. No space in the waiting room whatsoever. The Allied security fools have a big ego and not even a little bit of customer service skills. This Kaiser ER is far from other's when it comes to the level of quality Kaiser Permanente is known for. What a shame.

Had to take my dad to Kaiser for some thing that turned out to be minor but they were so patient and helpful with us. Very attentive. Immediately got him a warm blanket. They already knew what his pre-existing conditions were and what medications he was on so I didn’t have to try to figure all that out for him. Overall a really good experience. Thank you guys!

Came there as tourist doing a roadtrip. It was late so i had to go there via ER. Everybody was so friendly and professional. Doctor took his time for me even there were many patients at this time. Felt well-treated there all the time.

The ER department is absolutely inhumane. I went in for gallbladder attack and they stuck me in a back room or nearly 4 hours after admission. It's abysmal and if you are really sick please don't go there go anywhere else

Best visit ever for a routine procedure with nurse: quick, clear explanation, and an excellent receptionist as well. Mar./22: Longer wait for lab services late morning today.

I was running late due to a traffic accident that held up traffic for about a half hour which obviously made me late for my earlier tech meeting but was able to see my tech and then Dr Kirkuchi shortly after with no problem. I'm sure mishaps with scheduling do happen from time to time and Kaiser and their staff know how to take care of patients when these things happen. I am so very thankful and happy with Kaiser Permanente and their doctors and staff!

I was very impressed this was probably the best interaction I had with medical staff at Kaiser in general . The doctor was very communicative. Explained everything thoroughly, every single step of the procedure the doctor was taking his time, making sure I understood. He was also very thorough with explaining the after care, probably the best experience that I had at Kaiser.

My experience with kaiser and all staff has been great! The problem is on the outside of the main facility. There is not near enough parking available. Not enough handicap spaces, either. When you have to park in a parking lot 1/2 mile away in another businesses parking lot, that is not reasonable at all. Kaiser, you need to do better. This isn't a new problem. Do better, go up with a parking garage. Something has to change. It is 3 stars due to the parking. If it was all about service inside it would be 5 stars.

Everyone from reception, nurse, and Doctor were helpful, responsive, timely, nice, friendly, caring, and empathetic. Dr Thompson was very friendly and personable and he really listened to my concerns and questions and answered and assisted with information and treatments. I’m 110% happy.

My husband was able to get a same day appt on New Year's day. He was seen quickly. The doctor was excellent. She was thorough, professional, and called us with the plan after reviewing the test results. A surgery referral was done promptly. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The lab and ct testing were done quickly and results were immediately available. Kaiser never misses an opportunity to get health maintenance done. They even did his retinal eye screen while we were there for an acute problem. I am very impressed with the care. Thank you!

Clara is the best!! She saved my life. My psychiatrist did all he could to help me. He pulled all the stops and now I am well! I had a severe and complete nervous break down. I would not wish it on my worst enemy. Thank you Kaiser for helping me to be happy and healthy again.

This location has workers who do not respect people of color. My father speaks Spanish and they were laughing at my him after they pierced his arm multiple times. My father cannot walk well and has worked laborious jobs which is why he was in the hospital. To be as inconsiderate as they were and to assume he could not speak English enough to laugh about him in front of his face is the most disrespectful, racist thing we have ever experienced. All we wanted is to get medical help for his surgery in a respectful, safe area.

I delivered my first baby here and must say that I had a wonderful experience! The labor and delivery/postpartum nurses and midwives were incredible! I was so nervous and they went above and beyond to put me at ease and help me navigate the entire process. I will never forget this experience or the amazing team of nurses and midwives that helped me along the way. Thank you so much to all of you!

I delivered my baby there in Feb 2022 and I have to say, I received the most compassionate and kindest care I have received at any other hospital in the central valley. The nurses for every shift were so attentive and supported me in ways far beyond their job descriptions. I will never forget my experience at Kaiser and I am a member for life. Thank you KP for having such an outstanding team work for you in the entire L&D and Postpartum units. <3

Went to ER and was already super anxious but the staff made the trip there feel less nerve racking. They were really quick with getting me in and out. I do have to talk about the LVN Jamie Rodriguez, she was very extremely sweet and comforting. After she drew my blood I didn’t feel too good and she was quick to tend to my needs, a very attentive person and for her I give the place 5 stars. The woman that had to check me out was the sweetest person ever and very energetic, unfortunately I didn’t get her name but nonetheless she was the cherry on top!

Dr. Blackburn clearly explained all of my options for the vision impaired and allowed me to try out the various devices. He knew in advance of my situation, took time with me, and answered all of my questions. I felt valued. He was both very knowledgeable and kind. I would recommend him highly.

The birthing center was by far the best experience I had ever had. Every single nurse who help me from admission to my discharge was absolutely amazing. I have no complaints. The nurses and my doctor Carol Ann Creamer made me feel soo comfortable and made my husband and I feel welcome and they help us dramatically. Thank you Kaiser birthing center

Dealt with a work related injury, had a bad experience at fresno community hospital, was sent to Kaiser afterwards in Fresno, meet Doctor OZAETA, JERE STAHL, choosed to stick to Fresno Kaiser due to him, Ozaeta cares and understands the pain and situation your dealing with and explains everything carefully and isn't in a rush like most Doctors are, you can tell he loves his job and cares for his patients! Thank you for making my injury go smooth, also the front desk staff are helpful! So far my experience with Kaiser in Fresno been Good, nothing to complain about!

Just switched to kaiser at work and I fear I have made a terrible mistake based solely on my interactions with the call center where i got passed around half a dozen times and treated dismissively. I am seriously hoping just dealing with the primary care is better or I'm going to be really upset that I switched at all. After reading the reviews here I'm kind of hoping it isn't too late to switch back. - after meeting with folks at the clinic, I think alot of what seemed different to me had to do with how quickly things moved. So I'm going to stick with it for now and see how it goes.

Kaiser is the worse, do yourself a favor and get different insurance. My family had this insurance for 1 year and it was horrible, literally had to fight for everything. If you have MTHFR and high risk pregnancies stay away from here, they do not take your health seriously. When I told the Obgyn about all of my miscarriages and that I have MTHFR he laughed in my face saying my condition isn’t that serious. That’s exactly why I we changed our insurance had to wait for the year to end but never again. I always hear about great experiences until some serious health issues happen and then people complain. This place is desensitizing doctor patient care. Kaiser Permanente is the worse get out while you still can !!

Welp, I had to hv my Dad checked in, as he was not feeling well . . . He mentioned that it was pretty calm that day, especially since it was a Saturday Morning. . . He stated that there was not too many ppl there to be seen.👍🏼 Which is always a good thing. . . As we came in, the security guards were very pleasant and had a great sense of humor, which Now a days I SOOO APPRECIATE. I mean, it’s hard enough to find ppl with a decent sense a humor, but even harder to find 2 with a GREAT sense of humor. . . So I’d like to say I do appreciate them 🙏 . . . Then we moved on to the check in, which was also, another pleasant encounter. We weren’t rushed and were not made to feel like we were a burden or bothering anyone. . . I didn’t get the woman’s name, but she too had a great sense of humor, we laughed a little about the bracelet she had to give me so that I may move forward with visiting my Dad 😁 . . . She was also extremely helpful, in giving me a website, so that I could get my digital vaccine card, as I didn’t have my hard copy with me. I let her know, I literally took it out of my wallet the evening before 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️ . . . However she helped with a quick fix, by providing me the website, so I’d also like to thank her for her wonderful secvice 👌🏼😁💜. . . After a bit, my Dad was called to the back to check his vitals and answer some basic questions about why he had come in. . . The nurse was also very pleasant and professional, and also did not make me or, more importantly, my Dad feel any kind of negative way. . . I also appreciate her for her attention. Soon enough after going back to the waiting area, I believe one of the Doctors on call, came to get my Dad, and advised me, that I may come back into the area where he would be, in approx 20 mins. The one person that I did get her name was the attending nurse, Cerina, was her name, if I’m not mistaken. She was so very nice and very much professional. My Dad likes to joke and she was very understanding of his humor and found him to B funny, which he really is. Welp I just want to wrap this up by stating that I so very appreciate the positivity of the visit, as I’ve heard SOOOO many horror stories, and everyone is QUICK to comment about the negativity, but always seems to overlook the positivity and I personally like to recognize as much positivity as I can . . . Even my father stated that on a previous visit one of the attending nurses was extremely rude and would just ignore him. For those type of ppl I say, put yourself in the place of the sick and especially, of the elderly, as God willing, we will all get to that stage of our life and I promise. . . You get what you give, so be careful how you treat ppl. . . So, thank you, again, to ALL the staff that assisted my Father on that scary day for him. Thankfully he came home with no incident . . . Many positive blessings to you all. 🙏💜

Dr. Morales is a professional. She explains medical terms and treatments so they may be understood by the untrained person in medicine. She is compassionate and takes time to listen to concerns. Dr. Morales addresses those concerns. She will be my surgeon , and I am confident is her skills. Thank you for asking.

Dr. Blankenship at Kaiser Dermatology is utterly one of the best doctors I have seen in the last 25+ years. He is kind compassionate detail, orientated and beyond gentle. I had to have a procedure done in Office and was incredibly nervous but thanks to Dr. Blankenship it came out great it’s healing perfectly and I’m so glad at the care I received my fear of Dermatology is gone
