Planned to stay 2 weeks, ended up staying almost 4month! Best spot in Turkey to learn kitesurf and probably in the top list for world for beginners (especially regarding what you get for the price when comparing to other countries). The water is flat and you can walk on a huge area which makes learning so much faster (I never kited before and now Im jumping at least 3meters). There is a dedicated area for teaching that is huge as well (so you have space away from the pros). Teacher were all super great and gave good advice. Wind can be really strong sometimes for good jumps. Hotel had such a good ambiant and just next to the kite beach. I spend the whole summer there. I could write to much here... At the restaurant, try the wraps and the humar bar, they were my favorites. If you read until here you are already sold, nothing to hesitate just go ;)

There is a discrepancy between the service/standards and the pricing for hotel & restaurant. Given that this is a sports hotel, our expectations were accordingly -for example it is fine when hot water is not working perfectly or cleaning is not its best etc. However, the prices are almost equal to the high standard hotels and restaurant while you are being served with a lower quality.

Amazing place. Family friendly. Great ambiance & amenities. Very welcoming. I visited this delightful spot with my wife & 2 young children last week & I have to say Urla Surf House offers something to all people of all tastes. If you want world class kite surf instructing on one of the best beaches on Turkey's Aegean coast, you got it. A more chill vibe laying back on a hammock sipping on a beer in the shade? Look no further. If you've never been to Turkey, you won't feel like a stranger here because the staff speaks enough languages & are from different enough places that it will feel like a mini United Nations. The rooms also offer a quaint yet relaxing setting, perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway & a quiet retreat from city life. Urla Surf House is also environmentally conscious (recycle bins can be easily found wherever you are) & animal friendly (the proprietors have huge hearts & sometimes take in & care for stray dogs until they find an owner). If the waves are intimidating & you're not up to kite surfing, you can always dip in the pool, which is surrounded by a huge garden area out back (perfect for kids). Truly everything you want here! Next time I'm in Turkey, I'll definitely be sure to stop by Urla Surf House!

When you enter to Urla Surf House you feel like you're in tropical island, the atmosphere and people are so friendly. Rooms are so comfortable. Kiting in flat water is perfect :) Also if you stay in your van or caravan, they are helping you with everything you need. Thanks everyone!

They charged me twice, about $650.X 2, For rental and taking lessons. ( the receptionist told me I was charged once, and they gave me a receipt) They told me their machine didn't work the first time, so I paid with my other card. When I came back home, I noticed I was charged twice, considering mistakes happen sometimes. Still, I did not appreciate it when I called the manager to explain the situation, and also I called the receptionist; they both responded that they would get back to me, but no one did, and that is very disappointing; however, about two months later my bank honors my claim.

This place is my favorite kite surf place in turkey very nice instructors and You are surrounded with very very nice people

My wife and I were one of the first people to stay when they first opened. The hospitality was amazing and we are grateful to have had such an amazing experience. The surrounding area is great too and such a good area to drive and explore. Can recommend the kite surfing too, we were novices but they were totally fantastic with us. Can definitely recommend.

This was my second time coming loved it even more!!! People are so friendly. Spot is so easy for beginners to improve. Urla surf house is my my second home ❤️

Such a great place! Pinar and Nico, the owners, are such lovely people and put their love into this place. The garden with the pool is a great place to hang out between kite sessions. And the region around Urla has many hidden gems to offer.

Fantastic location for kite surfing. Extremely kind and helpful staff. Food great. Rooms very neat and comfortable. Nothing fancy but this is not needed as time is spent outside on the water most of the day. The "braai" barbeque on Saturday is a real hit. For entertainment the village doesn't offer anything so go to Alacati to Herminis street for great restaurants and shopping.

It is a wonderful place, built in love from a lovely couple. The staff is also full of great people which makes the place even better. I had read in another review that the kitchen is not good at all, which is just wrong at all (it's a kiteplace and not a 5* hotel - so maybe those people had to high expectations)! The food i had was always very good. The kite area is just in the front and the wind always better then in the forecast. Also the direction of the wind is perfect in summer (maybe always).
