We discovered this delightful upstairs cafe by chance and it was s true discovery. The food was excellent, the homemade wholemeal bread absolutely delicious as was the Parmigiana filling. The juices were amongst the best during our stay in Galle. Excellent and attentive service. I can highly recommend this as a way to make your stay in Galle even more special.

Best croissant 🥐 in town ! Hands down! Everything explained by stepwise 👌🏿Not even questionable! The croissants are so light and fluffy and I love the simplicity of them…the flavors are delicious.Very nice environment 10/10 for the ambiance 🙂I will definitely be back for another course.🙃 well ! Worth it ! And also calzone speaks to the quality of the class. Highly recommend !!

I discovered this beautiful place while I was wandering around Galle. I had a brief stop for a light lunch and I had one papaya juice and I tried the panzerotti. They were absolutely delicious. Crispy outside, slightly chewy and incredibly light, with a yummy filling of tomato and melted cheese. Be careful! it is very, very hot, you will burn your tonge. The place is very beautiful, with hanging plants everywhere and a chilled mood.

We had the Iced Coffee which was very reasonably priced and delicious. The owner is super friendly and helpful (The servers as well). The location is a bit windy and superb in the evening. Overall a nice place to have a tea in the evening.

Just stopped off for breakfast here. Absolutely loved it! Lovely sunny terrace, really friendly and welcoming greeting. Enjoyed chatting to the owner about Sri Lanka :) ..and the food was delicious! The best breakfast we've had in Sri Lanka. Recommend the iced coffee too!

Amazing place with beautiful terrace in the Fort! Great coffee and breakfast. Authentic homemade baked items and yummy sandwiches and street food! It’s a great addition to the Fort food scene!

It’s a decent looking place, but the food however was overpriced for the awful food. The croissant was hard and stale, the scrambled eggs were dry and bland and the caprese was just disgraceful. It’s not very difficult to put together three ready-to-go ingredients (mozarella was dry, no olive oil, bread was stale).

Loved our experience at AQUA forno. They have quite an interesting menu👌🏼The cafe has a welcoming vibe. Amazing food. The space is very well designed to feel like a small oasis in the middle of a bustling city. Service was very good ❤️👍🏻

We visited for coffee and despite having lived here for 2 years had never found this place before. It’s a little hidden gem. The menu is novel with Ciabatta’s Focaccia and Crespelle featuring as well as an extensive range of breakfast items. We only had Lattes on this visit but will definitely be returning. Service was polite and prompt by Pradeep and the coffee excellent.

Loved having lunch here on the rooftop. Beautiful location, amazing food (also from their sister pizzeria).

The place inside looks very lovely. The food is absolutely rubbish. You can see the so called “croissant” I think that was the worst in my life. Cappuccino was not good either. I paid for it a bit more then 6€ . Overpriced and not eatable. Would definitely not recommend

Lovely restaurant situated in the fort. Was lucky enough to meet the owner too and have a small chat with him. Their crossaints are excellent - best I've ever had in Sri Lanka!!

Super lovely place with a nice view of the fort :) We had breakfast there and it was great! Fresh fruit juices, excellent coffee, croissants, muesli, fruit platters, crepes… everything you could wish for in high quality :) Also the service is great and especially Dinesh the manager took great care of us!

I would expect my gelato brioche to have something more. It was just brioche with ice cream. Some added Nutella maybe? I dunno, maybe that's how they do it in Italy. The atmosphere of the place was really nice though!

Very disappointed with the food. For a restaurant with good reviews and a higher price, I was expecting a lot more than what came out the kitchen, stale bread, bland salad and presentation. Great location and building, has potential to be a good restaurant if they put a bit more effort into the food.

One of the few places in Sri Lanka to get real good bread. So nice, especially when you live here! Their sandwiches are nice too, you can tell there is authentic Italian influence behind this business (and the other three in Galle Forte)
