The hostel is new and everything therefore is kept really well! There is lots of space! It’s very clean and the people that run it (Hansi and uncle) were super nice to me and went out of their way to make me feel welcome! There are ceiling fans. The beds have fans and mine even had an anti mosquito vaporiser thingy attached to it. I even got a towel on the bed!! All in all for a quiet rest I would always return!

For the price this way better. I stayed here multiple times and I planned to book a bed again. They have bunk beds with spring mattress and clean cotton sheets with comfortable pillows. Have two dorms female and mixed dorm. There’re 4 bunk beds in female dorm and 5 bunk beds in mixed dorm and both dorms have wooden floor and every bad have a separate fan and AC power outlet as well as a mosquito repellent. They have fiber optics wifi in the property for free and have clean bathrooms with clean toilets. There’s a kitchen and common area to use for the guests and also have a washing machine for 350 rupees. You can walk to dewata beach and have supermarkets in walking distance. The person who take care of the place is a great guy and he goes above and beyond to take care of our needs.

Everything out there is nice. Location wise, area it has,building design, rooms everything does have nice vibes ,along with the owner are nice with some evening chats. I stayed there for a night and i enjoyed staying there. Stay was worth ever penny. As prior to other hostel its nice. Beds were clean and done properly, switches and bed lamp everything was working along with the bed wasn't that shakey when someone on the top changes his sleeping position. Bathroom are common sharing thats okay. I forgot to take the rooms photos. But you can try this.

Tanty's Hostel Galle offers an affordable stay where you can spend a few days on a low budget. This property is around 4Km away from the Galle Railway station. There are many shops and restaurants nearby to this property. It's a nice hostel with clean and comfortable rooms. The dorm is very spacious and very comfortable. Common area and washrooms are well-maintained. They have wifi facilities but the strength is not very strong. The only drawback is that the washrooms are downstairs. Other than this everything is nice. Recommended. 🌼

One of the best hostels I stayed in. The beds are super comfortable and the location is one min away from the beach, supermarket and bus stop. But it’s not a very social hostel tho.

Hostel is a beautiful, spacious, clean property with garden and open spaces. Dorms are very spacious and comfy. Great area to relax, play and socialise with fellow travelers. Well equipped shared kitchen and drinking water available. Everything is nearby and quite accessible including local buses just outside the hostel. Very convenient and easy. Owners are lovely people and staff is very polite and helpful. I would definitely go back when I am in Galle again!

I stayed 2 nights in Tanty's Hotel and I wish I would have stayed more! The premises are nice, with a big common area to relax and garden, spacious and clean dorms and enough toilets facilities for guests. I also liked the location, close to beaches. Last but not least, the staff was super kind and helpful. If I go back to Galle I will not hesitate to book this place again !

Staying in Tanya's hostel was amazing experiance. Everything is very clean, kitchen is very good equipped. Hansa and uncle are amazing human beings, very attentive, helpful , all the time they were taking care about us and wanted to make our stay more comfortable. Bathroom is very clean, living room and kitchen are huge. Very comfortable with good vibe space. Thank you guys, hope we see again.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Nice location (walking distance to Dewata beach for surfing and 8 min ride to Galle Fort or Unawatuna). Good breakfast, big beds and lovely staff.

J'ai passé quelques jours au Tanty's Hostel et je vous le recommande. Idéalement situé derrière la plage de bonavista qui est un très bon spot de surf pour débutants. Les dortoirs sont spacieux et propres ainsi que les parties communes. Il y a une petite cuisine et frigo à disposition ce qui est rare au Sri Lanka. L'accueil est chaleureux et bienveillant.

Das Hostel ist neu und sauber. Die Betreiber sind äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

i liked this hostwl. room was spacious, whole hostel is big, lots of space to eat and store luggage. location is next to shops and restaurants. also next to a bus stop. staff were friendly and not a bad price. only negative was shower was downstairs and they were small.
