Situated at Pedlers street Galle fort. Its a small restaurant can accommodate 12-15 customers at a time. Bit congested but was not much crowded. They have rice, noodles, pasta, kottu and several other varieties as well. The restaurant is managed by a couple. Cash and card payments accepted. Very reasonable prices. We ordered lime punch and king coconut water. The lime punch was soo fresh and delicious. We ordered chicken kottu and mixed fried rice. Both tasted so delicious and fresh too. On time cooking so there will be a little late for serving. But wirth waiting. The mixed fried rice also consisted of fresh sea foods. The plate itself was so rich of ingredients. They served us a mutton gravy extra. Usually I don’t eat mutton because of the smell. But the gravy was superb and well mixed with kottu. The couple was so humble and taking extra care of the customers specially the gent who was in charge of taking orders and serving.

Family run place - really amazing rice and curry. Came back twice cause it was so good. And they adjust the spice levels for you - i wanted it super super spicy and they delivered!

Perfect place for traditional curries and pol roti which almost seems difficult to come by within Galle fort since most of the shops is geared towards tourists. You can opt for non-spicy but I will definitely recommend the spicy version for an authentic experience. Service is flawless. There isn’t beer on the menu but the owners are glad to let you BYOB at no extra charge.

Compared to many restaurants serving western food at excessive price but not necessarily good quality, it is really a good deal. I had the Curry chicken set (Rs 600) and it was decent. I expected the Curry chicken to be of a bigger portion. The side dishes were nice but not the best I've tried in Sri Lanka - the dhal curry, fried eggplant, okra and cabbage. The food was served pretty fast as well. This place is a good value for money if you want some Sri Lankan food in the fort area.

Their curry is spectacular, I also tried the teriyaki, also nice, similar to what they generally call Devilled, in Sri Lanka. Also their roti is awesome.

The person who served was a racist. We were Indians and went in there to have soft drinks. He chased us away saying the tables are reserved and we can't occupy two tables for ordering soft drinks. And it costed 4x the normal price. Meanwhile there were other Europeans having the same soft drink for 1 hour and he was sucking up to them. Would never recommend. Save embarrassment and try other cafes in Galle. Worth zero stars.

We have been traveling around Sri Lanka for almost 3 months and this was one of the best restaurants if not the best. The coconut rotis were incredibly delicious, as was the curry that came with it. The „banana flatter“ is a must have, I was so full but I had to continue eating because it was SO delicious! The family is very nice and they Are Great hosts. The table next to us told, this was the best Kottu they‘ve had. So you’ll be happy with at least either Kottu or Dhal Curry.
