HORRIBLE! The noise factor was off the chart. You could here every car and truck driving by on I-40. There was also a train nearby who blew its whistle early a.m. The girl at the checkin counter was very very unfriendly! The room itself was okay, no fancy stuff here, which is fine. There was a microwave and fridge in the room. We didn’t use it. Never could get any hot water from the sink in the bathroom, so didn’t attempt a shower. Room was advertised as $57 but total came to $89. I would NOT stay here again ever!

A peaceful stay after a day on the road. The woman checking us in was kind, efficient and had a beautiful smile. We settled into our second floor room (we generally like the 2nd floor for noise reasons) and it was nice and clean, with the latest updated Motel 6 bedspread, curtains and furniture/fixtures. Everything in good condition and working great. Our kitty cat explored every inch of the room, and enjoyed watching the world from the window as we slept. Thank you Motel 6 Gallup!

The rooms were pretty dirty. We had to get 4 rooms for my family, and one room moved because of cigarette ashes on the floor, and another room ended up moving 3 times because it wasn't clean. It looked like they had just flipped the sheets over instead of washing them, and there was cat hair and cigarette burns in the blankets. My room smelled very bad (almost like vomit). The rooms had water and mildew marks on the walls and ceiling. I will say that the employees were very nice though. My sister left her phone in the first room that she had, and they did everything they could to get it back to her.

Tiny room. Blankets with stains. Train came by every 15 minutes at night. Microwave broken. No in room coffee. Very dysfunctional shower. Never again!

Everything was good, room was clean, nothing broken, beds were comfy, service was very good, nicely located for travelers, my only small complaint was that they had one of the beds against the heater/ac unit. No real big deal but if you are in that bed, you got either hot or freezing pretty fast. But all in all, a good place, I'd go back.

Rooms are small the ceiling fell in the bathroom couldn't even take a shower we had to wait 3 hours for them to get us into another room so I can take a shower for that day after we drove in from Alabama the night before it was not too happy about that then the room that they moved us to had no refrigerator and no air dryer had no microwave so small that you cannot turn around and she had a wheelchair and this is supposed to be a wheelchair accessible room you could not turn around with a wheelchair but always so small between the bed the wall could not get through without had to have it perfectly perfectly lined up to them to go from in the end could not get out the door without help in the wheelchair the lip at the bottom of the door was too high almost throat herself out of the wheelchair getting out of the door when we need to get out and then they let people that had no business parking in the handicap spot park there

I noticed dirt/hair on the floor immediately upon opening the door. I then checked the bathroom. Dirt and hair all over the bottom of the toilet. The floor of the stand-up shower was covered in hair. The mirror was dirty. I couldn't look any further and just tried not to touch anything. The only ice machine was in the office lobby, and I was at the very back of the motel neatest the interstate. There was a dilapidated truck next to my room. It sure didn't look like it ran. The grounds around the motel were nasty. Trash and dog feces everywhere. I would never stop here again!

We had a cute little room. We were on the 2nd floor. Yes, you can hear the train but it's not very loud. The only complaint I would say I would have is that the TV was full of static and didnt have very many channels. Not a huge TV person, but the kids would have enjoyed something to watch. Other than that, I have no complaints.

Bed Bugs. We stayed Wednesday night. Travelling thru. And I left with bed bug bites all over my body. I’ve called two days in a row and they just tell me Manager isn’t available and they will tell them. Not one person even asked the room number or for my phone number. I guess next call will be to the health department.

Quiet, clean and pet friendly. If you’re looking for a quick stop for a good rest, this place has it. Our room did not smell musty like most hotels and it was easily accessible right off of the 40. No complaints.

Very happy with my stay here. I am on a cross country trip and ended up staying 3 nights because it was my best experience across all the states. Nice room, friendly staff, surroundings felt safe (single female traveling alone) and there was a nice area across the street to walk my dog. I recommend this location!

Thank you for a nice overnight stay. Both Bessie and Irene were very friendly and helpful recommending a place for dinner. I will definitely stay again next time I pass through Gallup.

Stray dog, though he seemed nice, roaming around could've posed an issue while walking my dog. Luckily didn't. Room was clean. Update: they have made improvements! New locks, new washers & dryers (2 each) , new outdoor lighting. A nice surprise to see improvements, I'll definitely be back!

The front desk was awesome. I didn't catch her name, but she had a lot of tattoos. She was amazing and professional. The rooms were clean, and the bedding was clean. The shower needed repair.

Pool is empty, no water in it! It is July 4th! Room seemed OK until we went to use the shower, floor in shower is cracked and spongy, floor out side of shower is also spongy and wet but we haven't turned on the water yet! Definitely a leak somewhere! It was 11:45pm so we are kind of screwed because it is late! Wish we noticed earlier.

We came through during a ice storm and made the unlucky decision to stay here, they keep the water heater too low or its broken and they told Me that's just how it is. It made me colder to take a shower on full heat Cool downtown area in this city tho

Friendly staff and about what you'd expect for the price. The sheets were clean, toilet was dirty and the room was heavily scented with a spray. The scent was so strong that I kept the window cracked open. Several small maintenance issues needing attention.

Probably the best Motel 6 I have ever stayed in. Great value for money. Very clean. And the staff were super nice. For a bare basics Motel, this is a really good option.

Our desk clerk was very courteous, extremely helpful and friendly. Room was small, functional and clean. We chose Motel 6 after reading ALL of the other motels' negative reviews in the area from roaches to theft in the room.

This is the best place to stay that doesn't charge $100+ for one night. The fact that they dont require a 50 to 100 deposit is a bonus. The only complaints I have is the water pressure also they really should consider having a microwave and fridge in ALL there rooms not just some. There customer service is great over all

Very clean room. I stayed two nights. Do not let the exterior fool you, this is a Motel 6 "modern room" that is very clean with nice bathrooms. I filled my cooler with free ice from the ice maker. I would stay again! Nice small town with nearby grocery stores and shops. Was traveling from California to North Carolina when I found this gem room to relax.

The woman checking me in was so nice and kind and professional! It was storming and flooding that night! She gave me the best deal and also put me in a room close by the office next to a woman with kids. I was traveling alone and wanted to feel safe. The room was very nice and clean and comfortable. I would recommend this motel.😁
