A quiet, restful place near the centre of Ghent, which retains something of its monastic atmosphere. The rooms are sober but comfortable, with a nice bathroom. A very enjoyable stay, friendly, no-fuss, practical. The garden view is very nice but the pond is a prolific breeding place for mosquitoes, so be careful with the windows! (Maybe they need some dragonflies.)

I loved my stay at Het Rustpunt more than I can adequately describe! It’s peaceful, beautiful, safe, and well maintained. The gardens are an absolute gem. A fantastic place to stay that’s central and has character. The morning breakfasts were lovely with lots of options (including vegetarian and some vegan ones). Be sure to step inside the church as it’s breathtaking. Thank you to the kind staff; I’ll definitely recommend this accommodation.

Fantastic accommodations near the center of Ghent! It’s easily accessible by tram and has large lockers for your bags. Being set within a monastery the room is simple, but there is WiFi available. Breakfast is included as well.

This is such an unexpected place! The rooms are comfortable with a very nice bathroom. The garden/parc is just great. It’s quite surprising to see such a big one in the very center of the city. And it’s also very quite. The parking is a must-have. Especially, it’s very cheap compared to the price of the public parkings. Last, but not least, the staff is help-willing and attentive. Will definitely come back there, soon or later!

I stayed at Het Rustpunt in June 2018 for 3 days and had a lovely stay. The rooms are sparkling clean and austere, which made for a nice retreat to come back to after a long day exploring. The air conditioning worked well and the breakfast was lovely. I loved the gardens and the whole vibe of the place is very peaceful. Definitely recommend, especially for solo travelers.

One of my favourite places in all the world to stay. As someone who suffers from social anxiety, the peaceful, friendly atmosphere of the monastery is a sanctuary from the bustle and aggression of the world. A place to stay like no other!

It took me some time to find the right entrance 😊. The staff is great and the public spaces very quiet. The room was exactly how I expected it to be and I was pleasantly surprised by the modern bathroom. The mattress was so comfy :-). Super location just steps from Gravensteen. A wonderful place to stay and worth the money.

(Translated by Google) The location is close to the center and easy to reach by car. Parking at the monastery is well arranged and the car can be parked here all day for a small fee. The hostess was very friendly and the room was basic, but clean and tidy. The breakfast was tasty and well arranged, even now in the current corona time. The building is beautiful and with the beautiful garden that goes with it, a super nice location to spend the night in Ghent.

👍👍 A great place to stay. The very steep and narrow staircase was built in a time when safety was less important than today but that adds to it's charm. Rooms are large, warm and have a street view. Staff were great.
