It is a great cafe to enjoy brunch in the morning. I visited more than three times last week. Especially, the club sandwich is very delicious :)!! I strongly recommend it! And I can't drink coffee because I'm weak in caffeine, but I was satisfied, because there were many decaffeinated teas :)

We ordered 2 different korean kimbabs, squid ink pasta, and salmon sandwich. We also had pancakes for dessert. The cafe was clean overall and the atmosphere was good! I’d love to visit again ☺️

Very relaxing ambience. My family sat at the sofa corner, simply comfy. Food, coffee as well as service are all nice. Didn't manage to capture all photos as my family already start digging in before I could do so 😆. We had 3 different pasta, bagel with cream cheese, homemade scone, kimbap and grilled cheese 😋 Lastly, the bingsu is excellent, very snowy, smooth and not too sweet. Will be back soon.

Nice Aircon, nice staff, comfy lounge chairs inside or a nice sea view from the bench, this is a great afternoon spot. Bimbap beef and carbonara were spot on and I’ve had their mango bingsuu which was pricey at 28rm but worth it with lots of fresh mango on top of milky shaved ice. Perfect escape from the humidity.

Excellent lunch at Chilloutery in Straits Quay. The place is spacious and airy with both indoor and outdoor seating. Service was friendly and attentive. Our food and drinks arrived quickly and were all fab. The Chilloutery Club, American pancakes, Bulgogi Pita and Classic Kimbab were all full of flavour with very decent portion sizes. The lemon ginger soda was strong and I thoroughly enjoyed this drink served beautifully chilled. The Pandan Date and Oreo milkshake were good, too. A great experience and in a really chilled out place.

Visited the delightful new coffee shop, the "Chilloutery” today at Straits Quay marina mall in Penang. Great matcha latte, cool vibe, nice view of the marina, comfy seating and even a quieter working space room with no music coming from the speakers (nice for an old dude like me). The owners Miro and his wife Unee were gracious and made me feel welcome in that homey environment. Highly recommend!

My partner and I stayed in Penang to visit family and work remotely for 2.5 weeks in March this year and we spent almost every morning for a few hours at Chilloutery to enjoy a coffee and work. It’s a very spacious cafe where you don’t feel like you’re overstaying. The back section is also designed for remote workers with a large communal table with plenty of charging ports as well. I really enjoyed their coffee and croissants. We also got to try their gimbap, which was super tasty. The owners are very welcoming, and the staff are friendly and happy to help.

We have been regulars at Chilloutery for breakfast and lunch. The owner Unee is super friendly and loves kids which makes the restaurant extremely family friendly. We love their keto kimbap and riz noir which is packed with seafood. Their desserts are to die for especially the mango Bingso made of whole milk and not just shaved ice, the mango and ondeh ondeh cakes are delicious and not too sweet. A surprise was the chocolate muffin which was fluffy and chocolatety and not dense at all. 2 thumbs up and we look forward to more delicious additions to the menu

Chilloutery is a great spot to eat, have your coffee and either work on your computer or just chill. We've been there several times with our kid. The staff was always so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed everything that we ordered. They have an online ordering service, so it saves you time, you don't need to wait for a waiter to come. Everything was prepared and delivered to the table very quickly. The place looks very nice and seats inside and outside are very comfortable. I absolutely recommend this place.

Looking for a great cafe that offers more than just coffee and tea? Look no further than this amazing spot. Not only do they serve some of the best coffee and tea in town, but they also offer a fantastic selection of pasta dishes and delicious kimbap. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with plenty of seating and a relaxed vibe that's perfect for catching up with friends or settling in for some work. And with free Wi-Fi and plenty of power outlets, it's a great spot to get some work done while enjoying a tasty meal or snack. Their pasta dishes are not to be missed, with a variety of options to choose from, each expertly prepared with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. And their kimbaps are simply amazing, with a wide range of options to satisfy any craving. But it's not just the food that's great - the coffee and tea are top-notch as well. Whether you're in the mood for a latte or a refreshing tea, they've got you covered. The staff are friendly and welcoming, always ready to offer recommendations or answer any questions you may have. And with reasonable prices and generous portions, it's easy to see why this cafe has become a local favorite. Overall, I highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a fantastic coffee and tea experience, along with delicious pasta dishes and kimbaps, all in a cozy, inviting atmosphere.

All I can say is, you MUST try the bingsu. I was blown away by the snowy, light fluffy melt in your mouth milk ice shaving. Well flavored with syrup and generous portion of mango, this is definitely one of the nicest dessert to have. Coupled with comfortable chair, windy air and nice view, it definitely is one of the best place to relax and chill (hence the name of the place which I whole heartedly agree with) The drinks are also quite enjoyable and little less sweet than you expect. One of the few places that don't try to drown you into a sea of diabetes. Which I appreciate. In short, great place to take a break, enjoy a superb dessert and have good drinks.

😠 Premium price tag but lousy service! There should be no star at all! I bring my family of 5 came for dessert around 8.30pm. 🫤 Overrated. Tried pork leg rice, Penang loh mee and Penang style CCF, all were subpar. Pork leg rice - Quite bland. The egg used was not even a proper lu-dan (soy egg), just a plain hard boiled egg. They did not even serve it with salted vege. Not good and not authentic. Penang loh mee - I'm a...
