Overall a very good dining experience as the food court is extremely well organized, ventilated and lit. Facilities were clean making for an enjoyable dining experience. The food was decent overall with many choices to satisfy everybody's cravings. Hokkien Mee (4.5/5) - big bowl with good shrimp flavour Yam Rice (4/5) - quite tasty Pork Ball Soup (4/5) - fresh with tasty broth Pigs Trotters (4.5/5) - very tender and flavorful sauce Char Koay Teow (4.5/5) - very decent overall for food court just not outstanding Oh Chien (3/5) - good amount of egg, oysters generous and fresh, batter not crispy or chewy enough Satay (4/5) - skewers grilled nicely, Satay sauce a bit sweet for my taste Rojak (4/5) - good flavour, additional fritters nice texture, needs more fruit Nyonya Kueh (4/5) Grilled Stingray (4.5/5) Blood Cockles (3.5/5) - great sauce but half of the cockles overly fishy

Clean and spacious. Quite laced with SOPS though. Ate at Passions of Kerala which served excellent banana leaf rice. SOPS are in place. Had dessert at the hawker centre which really hosts a variety of local delights.

It's a nice and clean food court. The people owners of the stalls are friendly. They adjust to your likings. I am vegetarian 3 times a week and I asked the stall of the pasta to make me a vegetarian pasta, he agreed and was excellent. Also their toilets are clean. Nice variety of food .

Nice airy food court .. the asam and nyonya laksa not too bad and of course recently I went for the Bangkok Lane Mee Goreng which has now moved here. I like the convenient parking and accessibility now. The mee goreng still as good as I remembered it to be .. used to eat it a lot because was working nearby but then since my office moved, havent gone back often because of parking. Now will eat more often.

I was on a recent cruise holiday onboard Spectrum of the Seas with 3 other family members. We had a port call at Penang, and we took an excursion to George Town. Amongst places we visited was the food court at the New World Park. According to the tour leader, this place has been popular with many locals (for now), and pointed us towards a large carpark full of cars as proof. We were there during lunch time, so it was crowded. We managed to get a table quickly as a family just completed their lunch. We ordered quite a number of dishes to share. Some were good, while others so-so. Maybe we had too high an expectation of Penang food, maybe there are better ones elsewhere in Penang. Nonetheless, the New World Park Food City is a great place to try out local Penang fares in one place, when you do not have the time to visit the famous Penang food stalls located all over Penang :-)

Stopover at Penang via Royal Caribbean and had some local food. Surprisingly to know the atmosphere was nice and huge selection of Chinese local foods. Taste ok and price reasonable. Will come back again sometime 👍

An Excellent choice to discover Southeast Asian foods. Good quality with affordable prices. Area is wide, well maintained and clean with plenty of ceiling fans around. One of our favorites in Penang. Highly recommended!;))

The food court is quite airy. Not stuffy at all. Lots of stalls, of course the signature Bangkok Lane mee goreng is there and it's good. Other good food is like the Bak Chang. The rest are ordinary. But overall a pleasant place with lots of choices of food.

If you're in Penang Island and looking for a one stop location for food, check out this place. Hawker food + various restaurants to choose from. We settled on Passions of Kerala as we were craving for some Banana Leaf Rice and it did not disappoint. Fantastic flavors, friendly staff, and clean restaurant. Would definitely return.

The most lousy self service collection system, order fruit juice, ice kacang, ice coffee & warm water, collected 1 drink and need to queue for 2nd drink, all these 4 drinks i need to queue in different lane for collection, queue for 4 times! Food and environment are good!

This is a tourist area where you can find most of Penang food. There do serve some good food here and if you come during weekend or Public Holiday, it’s a nightmare to get a place to sit. Their Otak2 is really good. One of my fav. Any how, if you happened to be in Penang on a weekday, the choice of food here is able to satisfy you. One more thing, I love the Muah Chee here!!! It’s a must try!!!

A place that is popular with the locals is a good sign- this place is one one with good food and great atmosphere. Pluses - Braised beef soup noodle from the HongKong noodle stall; Claypot rice stall makes great claypot rice Minus - the roti chanai was tough and small. Was also going to have their Murtabak but decided against it after the poor experience with the roti chanai.

This is a spacious and well-ventilated food court that serves a wide variety of cuisines; ranging from local street food to international flavours. Based on what we have ordered, the portions and prices are quite decent. The nasi ulam is authentic and delicious. The nyonya and asam laksa are not bad too. The famous Bangkok Lane mee goreng still serves up a good dish after moving here. The Hokkien Mee and fried banana fritters are also highly recommended.

One of the biggest food court in Penang. You can find a crazy lot of food option, even Vietnamese! Also they have hot tea as well, not just ice filled stuff. Many-many tables and the cleaning staff is taking good care of the dirty dishes right away. (Which is important, because sometimes hard to find an empty table!) They open 10AM, so even for a late breakfast is a good option this place (and they close around 10PM), so good for a whole day lets say.

This is one of the most popular hawker centre in George town/penang. The variety is huge. Some the stalls have very long queue. The otak otak, curry mee, chendol, curry laksa is very tasty. It is open air and very airy with clean toilets and lots of car parking.

Very airy & large sitting area with good spacing. Cleanliness is good. Option for food is massive. No regret driving all the way from Ferringhi to this food court for our lunch and once before departing for KL.

The location has a large selection of food to choose from and very vibrant. I had 2 ice kagang and 2 rojak (one from the back location of seating and another shop at the front of the new world park). I preferred the one at the front of the 2 options.

Great place to grab an amazing yet inexpensive dinner and either take it home or eat at the location. The place offers a plethora of excellent food types from different regions /countries located in large and open covered area in the middle of the large pavilion. It is popular among both locals and tourists. Food is purchased at one of many smalls shops/ kiosks and drinks need to be purchased at a separate central kiosk. Only cash is used for payment. Great experience with local flavor yet remember it is not a fine dining but more of a low key experience (safe and delicious “street food”) which is very affordable.

Our 1st dinner at New World Park wasn't that fantastic at all. Kinda disappointed as the char kway tiao was like... 3/10. Bak kut teh, Rojak our liking at both 9/10. Satay and chendol normal 5/10. Try your luck, maybe we met unhappy chefs. 😅

Amazing variety of food and very good ventilation means that you get to enjoy your meal in comfort. I particularly like the Yam Rice and the Curry Mee here. I'm not particularly fond of having to queue up for my drinks, but their system is quite efficient, and on weekdays, the lines are not that long.

My first visit there after few years. Nicely renovated and very clean environment. 3 stars for the wide choice of food. Can't say much about the food because only tried a few stalls. Curry mee is is mediocre. Mee goreng is ok lah.

  • 5/5 Tony X. 2 years ago on Google
Very clean and varieties of local food at a reasonable price especially ,char koay teow, SAR hor fun , hokkien mee ,mamak mee goreng .cucur udang

  • 4/5 Junior S. 2 years ago on Google
Good place for breakfast/lunch, good ventilation, lots of variety. But I only find a few stalls worth to spend. Jawa mee, curry noodle, yam rice, hokkien/loh mee, and the newly join Bangkok lane Mee goreng are top choices. The rest are average or below. And they aren't really strict on the "fully-vaccinated dine-in" rules, so it's abit risky.

A hidden gem within Georgetown, Penang. You cant really tell from the outside. Plenty of new age, fusion and old traditional stalls. Definitely the best food court in Georgetown. Let me comment on the food and atmosphere, both are simply Fantastic ❤️ a must visit for anyone hungry or thirsty. They serve cold beer 🍻🍻

Big place, many food stalls, but my favourite one and the only one(yup, literally the Only one) I always go for is the Thai Kitchen stall (beside the public restroom), their food taste quite good and portion is quite big for the price they are selling. Recommend Thai Basil Minced Pork Rice!

  • 5/5 KoreanYorkshireman 1 year ago on Google
You can find so many different types of food here from many different stalls. At some you get a bell device when you order (it notifies you when your good is ready) and at others you inform them of your table number and they bring the food to you. Everything is reasonably priced, tasty and made quickly.I came here for 4 consecutive days for dinner and always left feeling satisfied.

  • 5/5 Audrey S. 1 year ago on Google
This food court is a huge area of fast food, from independent cafes to lines of hawkers in stalls. We went there several times to try different kinds of food, but that several times a lot of stalls were closed even though it is not monday or tuesday (the days when hawkers usually close). We tried their claypot rice & ais kachang stalls which were delicious and came in a big portion! The area had air cons and a roof which made them convenient to go to on rainy days...it is also located in a strategic location that you can reach within time. The only drawback is I often face the stalls' bosses who were not nice and a bit rude...

  • 4/5 Jiak P. 1 year ago on Google
Plenty of street food here! And most importantly, it has the bangkok lane mee mamak goreng, an all time favorite and delicious. The food court is very spacious, clean and airy too. For those who love walking, the premise is about less than 10 minutes walk from Komtar.

Huge food court. There are a few must try food including the Mua Chi, Loh Bak, Asam laksa, nyonya laksa, mee Jawa. For dessert like ice kacang and rojak, must try the other isolated shop near the entrance. The rojak is very good 👍👍👍 Very recommended!

  • 5/5 Dorge R. 1 year ago on Google
Typical Indian food place serving authentic Kerala cuisine. Really good stuff. I feel very stuffed from enjoying the banana leaf rice and side dishes. A very good array of pickles. The ginger tea is just right and soothing to the stomach. Service was very quick and definitely pleasant as one normally expects Indian food to take a while to be served. All and all, it is my opinion that Passion of Kerala serves food that can rival those food hotels in Kerala. And the portions are big, too.

6PM visit. Similar to The Jetty Food Court but with more snazz. The water fountains here are very well tuned making the mushroom fountains mesmerizing. And there were the Deschampuan pee fountains to get a kick out of. Easy place to eat and relax. It's under roof or umbrellas in open air but protected from the elements. There is a grilled seafood seller towards the back.

  • 4/5 Tan Choon E. 2 years ago on Google
Between 2pm to 6pm, the best place for hawker food. Great varieties, from mild to spicy, from well done to rare, from frying, grilling, steaming, roasting, baking, stewing and others, from local to neighboring countries. All under one roof. And the parking is all around and inside as well.

  • 3/5 Chris T. 2 years ago on Google

Maybe I got from the wrong stores but all the food I had was horrible. Sizzling beef rice didn’t come sizzling at all and whatever sauce there was all dried up. Satay was not charred. Dry banmian noodles tasted like mala???

  • 5/5 Oliver B. 1 year ago on Google
Good variety of food options at very good prices. All of the food we tried wasn’t amazing but we really enjoyed the tang bao! Beer prices are also very good compared to other places. Can’t beat the value, would come back.
