Feel free to name your ingredients or desire, let the mixologist inspiration serve you a wild cocktail to highlight your night. One must be dare to try. Otherwise, they are all time ready to guide you for a right drink. For non-cocktail drinker that go along with friends, one may aim for the canned beer. We enjoyed the drink but not comfortable with the in-door smoking environment.

This was the highlight of our trip to Malaysia. The skill of the bartenders is beyond belief. Give them an idea of what you like and they will make you an absolute masterpiece. Definitely a hidden bar- looks like a residence from outside but press the buzzer and you’ll enter into an amazing bar. Extra points for the 90s music!

No menu needed! Love being able to get what we like for drinks and allowed to order outside food. Like, whattttttt??!! Such an amazing place to chill. No live band/singer, just you and your company with conversation and laughter. Plus, Wei and his colleague were super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend this place.

Me and my friends had a great night here! Cocktails were good and they even explained & elaborated what was in our cocktails. They don’t have menu so just let them know what kind of cocktail you’re going for. Staffs were very friendly, chit chat with us, and even gave the whole floor free shots to yam seng together!

Been to few speakeasy bar in Penang and I love this bar the most. Small, quiet and cosy place to chill. They can served interesting and very nice cocktail. Will definitely visit again when I'm in Penang!

One of the best bar I’ve ever been. No menu needed because they’ll ask you what kind of cocktails you love and they’ll surprise you with some pretty-looking-taste-good cocktails. My first glass was a classic negroni, it’s good and for the second one, I let them surprised me. Ambience was really nice, staffs are friendly, I can feel that everyone seems like they’re enjoying their time here. Will definitely come back.

Interesting speakeasy experience. They don’t have any menu, just tell them what kind of cocktail that you like and they will make it for you. Cocktails were kinda okay. I just wish the mixologist engaging us more and explain their creation rather than just leave us wondering the whole night. More expensive than any other speakeasy in Penang or even KL.

My first speakeasy experience and I must say I have yet to find one as good as this in KL. It was a tad inconvenient for someone who is so new to cocktail drinks as there is no menu so you either go with someone you know you can trust to order a good mix for u;or you can ask the waiter there who knows her stuffs and is helpful. I was amazed at the cocktails I tried. Particularly like the gin based with lime & seasalt flavours. Felt that the mixologist here know her stuff and I really enjoy the delicious & well balanced flavoured cocktails here! It's roughly about rm50 per drink which is steeper than normal cocktail drinks but for the taste and serene ambience for a nice catch up, I don't mind spending. This place has won my heart to wanna revisit again when I come to Penang! ❤️

First time at this bar and hands down loving the vibe of this place. There’s no menu here, just say what you feel like tasting and the talented bartender will capture your flavourful interest. My verdict : hidden and prepare to be surprised.

Great tasting cocktails. Priced about RM50 each and not every cocktail is the same. Each are tailored to each person’s preference hence there is no menu. Great concept. Bartenders just seem abit aloof and cold, either that or they’re just concentrating on producing a good drink. Drinks took quite long to arrive

Pretty on point with the speakeasy concept. Located opposite an alley in Penang Times Square. No-menu, omakase concept cocktails bar. Me and my buddy tried both Cocktails and Mocktails. Both are legit. . I ordered 3 Cocktails during my visit. 3 different taste profile. Love all of it. A good cocktails apart from tastes, it should be presented well too! We went here for a casual little date and ended up having a great experience! The bar is actually quite difficult to find. It has a very nondescript entrance. We ended up calling them so we could figure out how to get it. Inside, it's small but very cozy. The staff are all friendly and will happily engage you in small talk. There's no menu, but you can just give them some guiding notes and they'll come up with something good. We ordered 4 cocktails between us and loved each one! Worked out to RM50 for each drink. Highlight of my night was when I asked for a "strong cocktail, any spirit base, with coconut cream". The staff actually went out to buy some coconut cream and I ended up with one of the yummiest drinks I've ever had!

A well hidden bar tucked in the dark alley. Pushed the door open and the atmosphere inside is utterly different. No signboard and menu. Just tell the bartender your preferred taste and they will craft out something to suit you. The cocktails are really amazing and special, as you could not find them elsewhere!

It's a hidden cocktail bar. No menu. You just have to tell the bartender what you want to taste and they will prepare based on what you need. I felt like nothing special cause i was just tell the bartender i would like some sour taste and they just give me a Classic Whisky Sour. The price is super duper expensive too!

The Mandarin serves wide varieties of Cocktails, Liquor and Spirits. The Bartender is very helpful when comes to question about the taste and origin also information of the drinks we order. No doubt they are very well experienced, with the cozy environment that suitable for chilling and chit-chating with a group of friends and family. Btw, this place suitable for children as well, as they serve non alcoholic drink including mocktails and juice. They do serve local western food as well, big portion and very value for money. Definitely will recommend for my friends and family! & shall pay a visit soon !

I loved my first experience in this bar. First of all I'm looking nearest bar with my hotel and i found this place with highest ratings in google maps. At first I'm little confused to search this bar because they don't have signboard and you must chat the owner to show the way. This place is so warm, owner ,his staff and also their regular customers are very friendly. As foreigner if you look some extraordinary experience while sip cocktails then you MUST visit this bar. Personally i called this place is a hidden gem ( specialty bar) in penang.

A great cozy hidden bar. Drinks were great. They don’t have any menus, instead you just have to tell them what taste or flavour do you prefer (e.g. sweet, sour, smokey, refreshing etc) and they’ll come up with something according to your preference. Nice vibe, nice music. Surprisingly it was pretty packed even on a Monday night. They do mocktails too if you prefer non-alcoholic drinks. As at August 2022, cocktails are RM50 each and mocktails are RM35 each. That’s what ours was at least.

It's a hidden bar where you need to contact the owner for reservation. They do anything from beer to exotic liquor. Good atmosphere, not the usual loud bar where you can't hear anything else. Also the bartender is very friendly.
