I will be honest. ONE OF THE WORST DRINKS IN PENANG. RM25 for 1 cocktail is decent, but PLEASE I DID NOT ORDER MINERAL WATER. LONG ISLAND TEA IS NOT LIMAU TEH AIS BLACK RUSSIAN IS NOT VITAGEN Good place to chill nonetheless, we might had 2-3 cocktails more if the drinks werent so watered down.

Its currently the popular place for travelers to sit in the street and drink. You can go across the street and pickup your favorite food and bring it back as they don't severe food. otherwise you need to go around the corner to love lane to find a similar experience. Props to the persistent hawker that brought me in on the third day. Very attentive staff, worth the visit.

The best out of all the shops in Love lane in Georgetown!!! The drinks are not diluted like the others and they use expensive alcohols. The Desi people who want to drink some good magic potions please come here. A hundred percent recommended. The chef makes some excellent Tipsy cow special beef burgers, and the tastiest pesto ever! A charming little place on Chulia Street Buzzing with activity, you can spend hours at this place while having your drink. They serve finger food Crew are very gracious and non pushy at all Prices are reasonable

Places are quite chilling no doubt, but the cocktails unfortunately are not up my alley. Was expecting something much more better then what I had over at tipsy cow, prices are "ok ok", hope that there would be improvement on the cocktail served.

Good drinking place with shisha

Very chilled place, offering good prices. The staff are very friendly and try hard to attract more customers. We came early, but I'm sure it gets busier later in the night. Enjoyed a chilled beer.

The Tipsy Cow and The Sober Cow are next door, and I would think both are definitely owned by the same group. Both offer drinks and snacks in an average bar, with excellent opportunities to people-watch in Chulia Street. Nothing special at all, but both quite OK. Typical prices for the area. I did notice that every evening we passed, The Tipsy Cow was always the most popular. I cannot explain why.

Pretty chilled out bar with cheap beers and really friendly helpful staff - great place to watch sport.

An old shophouse bar with a very British name. It seems to attract an anglo tourist group - maybe the name. Bottled Carlsberg was on the menu tol, which is a change from the usual beers! A good place to watch life go by in the heart of the main drag on Chulia Street. Worth stopping off for a beer or two. Service is good and music a bit different from the normal.

The beer was not cold, and the worker maybe not understanding or playing with me and only smiled.

One of our favourite bars we've been to during our whole trip. Very well priced compared to the rest of Malaysia and the most fantastic, fun team. Absolutely worth a visit.

Quite a deceptive little bar when it comes to overcharging. Ordered two wines, and was offered a bottle. Wines are 20rm and a bottle is 95rm on the menu. We assumed by seeing this on the menu it’ll work out cheaper if we had a few glasses each as they’re a small pour per glass… we were however then charged 120rm for a wine bottle, as opposed to the 95 stayed on their menu as we were given a premium bottle that wasn’t advised to us when being offered the bottle. It also wasn’t that premium, heavily acidic, heavy citrus flavours and overall not what I would consider premium. I’d pay the price at home for a much nicer bottle in a much nicer establishment. Can’t recommend based on that unfortunately.

I loved it! Some girls called Alida and Shanice took me there and just made the night soooo fun… Otherwise, i wouldn’t have gone! So shout-out to those girls ❤️❤️

Once Chulia Street started to resemble Bangkok’s Khao San Road, with multiplying reggae bars and 101 pitchy renditions of Wonderwall, I stayed away. But when I happened to drop by the Tipsy Cow in between COVID lockdowns, I realized the owner & his crew are some of the nicest and most professional staff in Penang! And just now, the owner fixed me one of the best Palomas I’ve ever had, and a better Negroni than most of the Italian joints around; looks like I’m gonna be a regular here.

Very cosy place,very friendly staff ,everytime we in Penang we always make it a point to come and have a drink here..They have vegetarian options as well.

The food at this place is so good. The wings are perfectly seasoned and cooked, they come with sauce but I didn’t even need to touch it… some of the best wings I’ve had. The service is lovely and we enjoyed ourselves!

The shisha has basically no flavor, the drinks were okay. Music was good.

Far most one of the best spot to chill . The songs and the service they provide is very good. Not to forget their food is marvelous.

I recommend playing the Jenga and looser buys the next round of drinks! The place has great staff, excellent happy hour and I highly recommend trying something different like the fish appetizers. Cheers!

Very chill place. Good music street side bar. They serve food as well but not a huge choice so is the drinks. basic Beer selection plus hoegarden and some cocktails ( just so so ). Staff is super nice tho !!!! I recommend it

Cozy and vibrant at the same time, this bar is definitely a spot you'll come back to each time. The people at Tipsy Cow treat you more like friends than customers. On top of that, the good music, shisha and food easily makes this place a constant visit for me each time I'm in George Town!
