I didn’t really rate the burgers we got here. May as well have gone five guys! The sweet potato fries were ‘well done’, the seats had bits/crumbs in the creases and the napkins we were provided already had marks on them. The titles in the women’s toilet were sodden and sinking (maybe a burst pip?). Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place.

What a great find! After visiting Glasgow for the weekend, we wanted to pop out for some food. I specifically had a hankering for a burger (and onion rings) so after searching numerous places on google, we settled for here! And how glad we did! We chanced our luck just turning up and hoping for a table (Friday evening, 6:30pm) and were lucky enough to get a table for 2. Service was great and the choice on the menu is amazing! I chose the Hog Burger with fries and my husband went for The Manhattan burger with buffalo chicken fries, along with some onion rings (which we definitely didn’t need haha). The burgers were INSANE, but I had to use my knife & fork because of how much there was inside!! All of the food came in American style baskets, which I would say could have done with doubling up the paper underneath. The only other feedback would be that the chicken fries had perhaps too much buffalo sauce on. But other than that, great service with even greater food! Very happy piggies indeed!

Popped in for a quick bite on the way home last night. First time visiting. Service was really quick and all the staff we encountered were super friendly. The chili dog was amazing, although granted I was a wee bit tipsy and couldn't finish but they gladly wrapped it for me to take away. My partner really enjoyed his food also (snoop dogg and cheesey fries). The mezcal mule was lovely also, really refreshing. Prices were great also especially given the quality. Will deffo be back.

Would highly recommend you visit if you're looking for a cheap spot to have chicken wings of all kinds of flavours. I could eat buckets of these in every flavour they offer! Oh and if you love spicy food, try the kamikaze sauce, it'll literally blow your mind away!

Great chicken wings available in several varieties. Burgers are great too. Going back this week. The Monday to Thursday deals are great. Good selection of drinks. Not the most swanky of surroundings or furniture. But the food and service still make it 5 star.

Cocktails were lovely, but unfortunately waited around 15 minutes before our drinks order was taken, and then took another 10-15 minutes to get them. It was a busy night, but half an hour to get a drink is too long in my opinion.

Not bad value, food very tasty, unclear what you get with meals and service not prompting to help. Overall satisfied, not in a rush to return.

Haven't eaten here but popped in with workmates for a chat and a drink... We like this place... It's handy from our offices or on the way to the trains or busses ;)

Food and drinks were nice for the price! If I could I’d give 3.5 stars tho as they asked for a £5 deposit for a large skeleton glass in which one of their cocktails is served in. Never ever came across a policy like this before. One of the waitresses was also a bit rude in our response when we asked her for recommendations.. but honestly apart from those things it was a decent night.

So from the outside it looks like nothing special, we walked inside and got told we can sit anywhere thats amazing in its self then I had the oreo milkshake tasted amazing just like oreos, then my starter I had jalapeños and cheese bon bons, they had a crisp shatter to the batter the cheese oooses out in to your mouth and then you feel the warm sensation of the jalapeños in your mouth amazing, my main was empire burger that consisted of 3 quarter pounders 3 cheeses coldslaw pulled pork and a fried egg, my side was stealth chips that I think had camermelised onions and garlic sauce bacon, cheese and herbs 🌿 5 out of 5 stars 100% recommend this place.

I popped in on the last night of visiting Scotland from Seattle, and wow this place is fantastic.... The staff was great, the drinks awesome, and the food was some of the best I've had. I'm from Seattle, which is known as a great food city, and have been to Philly, and can certify that their Philly Cheesesteak was better than almost any you'll find in the States, especially for the price... Definitely recommended!

So many delicious sounding choices on the menu. The burger was way bigger than expected. The Mac and cheese was extremely cheesy. Beers on tap and a decent drink menu. A great American bar & grill spot.

One of the top spots for comfort food in Glasgow! Affordable prices, delicious food and kind staff is all you need for a good night out:) I got the Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich, and the combination of steak, cheese sauce and vegetables worked heavenly! Also the chili cheese fries were LOADED! This place is not shy about their portions. I took leftovers with me home, and it’s just as good the next day too!

We came here a few times as they have great beers and the atmosphere and service are nice. It's a relaxed pub so if you're looking for a posh place this is not it. If you're looking for tasty pub food, big portions for a great price, this is definitely the one. Because of all of these, this has now become our go-to place for a chill evening.

We always loved this place - the burgers we're great, the drinks are amazing! It was so quiet and empty - there used to be such a buzz! The cocktails are second to none though. Also , the card machine wasn't working......

The food was really good, one of the best burgers I've had, chips just great, the price wasn't too bad either. There was table service, but not really good (didn't really ask us often if we don't need anything else), but that is not that much of an issue. The atmosphere is great too, and fitting (it is very retro and kind of reminds me of American diners, which is cool esthetics)

Was walking round Glasgow City centre for a place like this and stumbled upon it. There's a few places I'd been in before looking for some grub and service was rubbish and staff didn't give a toss. But this bar here, NYC, was excellent. Staff were cool and on the case. They were well managed and they cared. Not to mention the food was class and at a decent price. Pints were good (I have the waves on my lager). Happy days. They deserve the 5

Loved this restaurant, the staff were really friendly and attentive, and the menu has lots of variety! The food was also great, with a good selection for vegan and vegetarian. The buffalo topped fries are so amazing I’m going there again tomorrow for them!

Found this place while looking for some place to eat on Sunday night. Many places are closed so the reason we stopped here. It turned out to be a good choice. We both had chicken burgers because of a two for one on Sunday. We had to buy two drinks to get the deal but it was worth it. I thought the prices were quite reasonable. Very busy when we arrived but later cleared out. We were there about 5:30pm. The burgers were delicious and sizable as were the drinks. Friendly wait staff who were working hard and keeping up with all the customers.

Not sure HOW they got a 4.4 rating. Terrible! Got a "Philly Cheese Steak". It was an onion sandwich with some kind of melted cheese, w/green, yellow and red peppers and lots of tough bread. Was supposed to have shaved steak, but I got about four strips of 3" long by 1/8" thick meat. Hubby got a classic cheeseburger. Meat was very dry: sandwich was a sloppy mess. Also, dirty water glasses. On a positive note, the beer was cold.

Me and partner used to come here from time to time to enjoy a more endulgent dinner and it was very good to begin with. However, the place seemed to become ever smellier and stickier every time we came back and then one day we were served a rank burger (it smelt like a rotting animal). It was very unpleasant and we were only offered an unspoken refund for the thing without any effort to replace it or do something about it from the staff. That was it for us. A shame as the dirty fries there are usually very good.

Terrible food and even worse customer service!!! AVOID, AVOID AVOID! I Booked a table for 5 for my family and was scrutinised on arrival as to "Were there definitely 5 people coming?" Chicken wings were served stone cold and when we alerted a member of staff we had no apology instead she rolled her eyes, the food was taken, microwaved and was returned lukewarm and basically chucked down on the table. We ordered 3 different sets of fries between us as sides. We recieved 2, again alerted a member of staff and nothing was done and the 3rd never appeared. We were still charged for 3 when we recieved the bill, by this time the member of staff that had been dealing with us had no problem showing us that she didnt care, we had no apology again she could see we hadn't been happy with the food and service and she remained very unfriendly towards us as if our complaints had no merit. Never ever ever going back to this place and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Hands down favourite place for drinks in Glasgow. I’ve been going here for 4 years now, I had my 21st birthday here. The atmosphere is always good any time of day or week. The barmen are all very friendly and skilled cocktail makers. The food is also very good here with delicious burgers and chicken tenders. £4.50 cocktails during the week is a steal. Best place in Glasgow for drinks, period.

Whilst there are restaurants in Glasgow that always seem to lauded as the best burger place in the city, NYC Bar and Grill has become or go-to place for a burger whenever we're in town. The staff are always helpful and happy to accommodate any changes to orders, swapping beef burger for chicken or even falafel if that's your thing. Plus, they have a good selection of beers to wash it down with too... although these are a little pricey.

Never been to the physical restaurant, only had delivery, and never been disappointed. Cheddar bon bons and Korean bites are a must! Holave tried a few hot dogs and not had a bad one yet. Great selection of food provides variety for everyone in the house. Highly recommend if youre looking for a decent filling meal.

Excellent bar in the middle of Glasgow's city centre. I have never had a bad pint in all the time I've been coming to NYC. Food is fantastic, particularly the hot wings. Staff are all friendly, particularly the owner/manager always gives up his time to have some banter with you and a chat. 5 stars!
