This place exploits staff, only go here if you're a psychopath titan submersible type It's no mono or stereo which are infinitely better looking venues with better food and most importantly, better working conditions for staff. Both are in the city centre and a short walk away from the 13th note. Be the change you want to see in the world and vote with your wallet, demonstrate that ethical practices are not just for animals but for the working class as well.

Top quality vegan bar food with a good selection of beers. Everything was super tasty, and the server was so friendly and happy to help. We sat outside and although not the most picturesque of streets it was quiet for traffic which made it really enjoyable to watch the world go by. Not the cheapest of places but well worth it all things considered. Will be back!

Top ten meal I’ve ever eaten. Their Gyros is amazing. I visit here every time I’m in Glasgow. It’s a Vegan place but don’t be put off if your not. I’m a meat eater but still love it here. And if you are vegan I can’t recommend it enough. Accessibility is great too. Ramp to get in, super wide isles for wheelchairs etc. Staff are awesome too. So worth a visit.

Was in last weekend for a pint. The prices are so high now. It was like drinking in Edinburgh it was that expensive. I only stayed for one. The place looks like it's falling apart and it's very dirty and run down. This bar used to be amazing. But now it looks like the life has been sucked out of the place. It looks like a dump. I don't think i will be back. They need to do this place up if they are asking for edinburgh prices at the bar. It looks like an utter dive now.

A pub with a decent selection of craft beers and other drinks. Decor is pretty tatty inside and it was cold when we visited. Prices are a bit steep for the setting and staff weren't the friendliest, this member was more interested in her phone than customers. I understand this place gets a reputation for good live music and this may be the case but to me it just seemed tired and run down

Top class veggie / vegan place to go for dinner parties. Accommodated my mums 70th birthday with 14 guests. Food had to be pre ordered, but all came out smoothly and no issues whatsoever. Staff were ever so polite and helpful! Dog friendly too. Thanks again!

Lovely place and great staff but it’s a shame the owner doesn’t provide them with fair pay and can’t provide staff with good health and safety regulations. I like to support small businesses but it’s the service from the staff members who make the place and if they aren’t treated well then not going to support such businesses!

Cute place just at the edge of Glasgow city centre. Spacious, modern design with a comfortable cafe and food area. Food is great for vegans and vegetarians. Great selection of drinks. Staff are friendly, but seem to struggle with small groups a bit. Would allow a bit of time for food if ordering as a group.

Best vegan/vegetarian restaurant I've ever came across. Food was tasty, staff super friendly and the environment was super cozy! Loved it, made the entire trip to Glasgow worth it.

Looking for somewhere to eat prior to the John Cooper Clark show, decided to try the 13th Note, as it caters for vegans. Super friendly staff, clean and cool interior. A very good variety of food on offer on the menu. I had the tasty but spicy Korean burger served with rosemary chips, the chips are worth just going back for! The wife had the Goan curry (and some of my rosemary chips 😡) which she decribed as delightful. I highly recommend the 13th Note and will be back.

A very nice venue which hosts local artists and their works on a rotational basis. Their alcohol free beer selection was not very big, which was a bit disappointing but I imagine it's not highly requested, still only thing that prevents it from achieving the 5 stars is this. Otherwise a good chill venue with a nice selection of drinks.

One of the Gems of Glasgow and a place to go for a beer and great lunch if you're Vegan / Vegetarian and even more if you're not. To sum it up, great service in a nice friendly chilled atmosphere with fresh cold beer and superb food. When you go give the Gyros a try. Absolutely dynamite. 👌

We didn't get food, just a couple of drinks on a rainy Saturday afternoon but it was a great experience. Amazing range of cocktails and a chill atmosphere.

Great atmosphere. Really good selection of food and drinks suitable for vegetarians and vegans. The staff are really friendly and helpful. A long time favourite of mine from the 13th note is the vegan cheesecake.

Have been eating in the 13th note for 15 years or so now, it has always had the best vegan food on Glasgow. So we were excited to come in for food yesterday. However it was absolutely shocking, it was a quiet night and there was no sign of the staff when they did come to the table they were pretty rude and too Uber cool to care. All 4 of us had a burger ( ordered different ones with different toppings ) and when they came they were all exactly the same burger with nothing on top all served on busted half buns ) they were dry and cold and very disappointing. Tried to get a staff members attention for half an hour to let them know but no one came, went to the till and told them about it but was only offered a comments card and asked to pay. Two disappointing burgers and cokes for £30. Definitely put me off coming back again.

First place I've ever ordered vegan food at (I know its a vegan pub so I had no choice), but I couldn't believe how delicious the good was. It was so good! I highly recommend this place. Good prices and friendly staff too!

Chilled place with great food , Might not be everyones cup of tea but rustic , hippy , eclectic bar/restaurant with some live music throw in for good measure in a tiny basement venue does it for me .

Covid time visit from an old regular. Menu is great, possibly improved but as great as always was back when I were a lad. Chips, coffee, juice and a chat with friends. Always great.

Such a strange and wonderful place. The food is great, defo something for everyone. They had run out of a lot of food when we went though. But the hummus was 🤌 The guy that served us was hilarious, he had a Karen's diner vibe about him but it was so funny. Defo a weird and wonderful place to visit if your vegan or Veggie 😂

A real bar - restaurant with a soul. I recommend for drinks (their cocktails are fab!), for a coffee date or nice vegan dinner. A truly dog friendly spot 🐶

Very friendly, didnt realise it was Vegan but as it was dog friendly, decided to give it a bash! Food very nice with very generous portions. Attentive service, still with 50% off food. My only criticism would be the toilets, clean but in need of some love and attention!

Plenty of variety on the menu. Super tasty food and good prices. I had the burrito and my friend the burger. We were both very happy with our choice. Cappucinos were perfect. Sticky toffee pudding between us coz we were both stuffed! Friendly & prompt service. Only reason I have it marked down a star is that a family with a dog came in and sat at the table next to us. Each to their own, but I don't think it's right bringing pets inside eating establishments in regards to hygiene, allergies or phobias.

Me and my friend had a Korean Burger and Spicy Bean Burger. They had a nice home-made taste to them. Nice chips too - could've had a few more of them instead of the salad though! :P Had some chocolate+cherry tart for dessert with some chai tea which were both yummy too! :)

Terrific menu, lovely to see great vegan options, range of drinks terrific too.. only couple of negative points.. firstly the seitan I had was well overcooked, it was burnt, in hindsight I should have taken it back but I'm not great with any sort of confrontation, I ate it but didn't enjoy it. The rosemary chips also didn't seem to taste of any rosemary. Finally, the staff didn't seem particularly engaging.. I guess we didn't catch them at their best on our visit.. However in saying this I still believe anywhere provided vegan choices needs to be supported, so hopefully next time will be better..

(Translated by Google) Amazing vegan food Book a table in advance The restaurant is basically the small part of the place, most of it is a bar and tables to sit and drink and accordingly there is music .... not quiet! (Original) אוכל טבעוני מדהים תזמינו שולחן מראש המסעדה היא בעצם החלק הקטן של המקום, רובו הוא בר ושולחנות לשבת ולשתות ובהתאם יש מוזיקה....לא שקטה!

We waited 30mins for our food, as they sayed they only had one chef, however it wasn't busy, the food is absolutely terrible. I ordered the Mac and cheese and it was absolutely frozen, and the plate was like it came out the fridge. They offered to microwave it hot but I passed and got a refund. My partner ordered the breakfast, the tattie scone you could sole your boot with it, and when she managed to get a knife through it went flying off the plate as it was brick hard, and the eggy toast was solid, all her food was like it had been cooked in the micro too, would never recommend or ever go back, it was absolutely shocking and not value for money on anything, avoid and go elsewhere.

Really good bar in the trongate area of Glasgow. I love coming in here on a Sunday for a bloody Mary and a few beers. The tunes are usually good depending what you're in to and the staff are bang on. I haven't tried much of the food but the chips and curry sauce are amazing and are a perfect wee bite to enjoy with your pint.

Worn, relaxed haunt. Friendly staff and patrons, and dogs welcome. Decent beer on tap, and cocktails and hot drinks also on offer. Delicious vegetarian and vegan food, albeit with only a small set of menu offerings. They have a venue downstairs accommodating up to 100 people, where live bands perform many evenings during each month (and which is bookable for gigs and other events).

Did you hear the one about six friends who went out to dinner before going to the theatre? They had allowed an hour and a half for dinner but the meals didn't arrive until they had been seated for over an hour, only five meals were brought to the table as one had been forgotten and one of the diners ended up on the floor because her chair collapsed under her. Oh wait, this isn't a joke.

  • 2/5 Jim J. 4 years ago on Google
Couldn’t get out soon enough. The sign at the restaurant said fully booked but we were the only diners. That should have been a warning. Music playing behind the bar would have been really to my liking but I could barely hear it due to the constant background thumping, presumably from a gig elsewhere in the building. I cannot imaging what type of music has such irregular percussion. Starter was good and very large even for two sharing. However the moussaka could be be described as lentils layered with backed potato. Dry with no sauce. I couldn’t stomach it nor the constant battering from the neighbouring venue.

Been going here for many years but won't be visiting for food again. We were told we'd have to wait for a table although we saw many empty ones. Waitress then forgot about us and we had to ask again to be seated. Food took over an hour to arrive and my order was wrong.
