Every time I come home, always meet here, staff great, food and service great

No kids after 8pm 😊 Food is decent. Has wide selection of draft beer, worth to visit. Haggis pie is right, especially love the peppercorn sauce. Goes really well with chips and pie 👍

Stopped here for a couple of pints today. The bar tender was super courteous and we had a really good time. We didn't have any food, but what we saw being served looked really good.

The food was absolutely amazing! I had a steak cooked to perfection, and the wife had an outstanding burger, really excellent value for money. Staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful. First time visit, will definitely be back

Fairly generic city centre pub. Initial impression was that I could smell the kitchen food over anything. There’s a few places like this in town and it puts me right off. Pints were cheap and they had some nice IPA on draught. Friday Saturday DJ from 8pm, lots of seating and staff were friendly tho

Found this pearl totally randomly in the city, had a fantastic time there. Staff nice and friendly, DJ played all the hits from 80's and 90's. Highly recommended.

Nice atmosphere and a choice of IPA's. Live music and good bar staff, very friendly. Never had anything to eat but saw dishes that others had ordered and everything looked great. Will be back for sure.

We booked a table for all the females in the family. As we live throughout central Scotland, we do this 2 or 3 times per year. First time we have been to this pub. We were seated upstairs and service was terrible. We had to constantly ask for glasses to be removed from the table. We ordered lunch and waited a long time for it to be delivered, and it was very disappointing. Burnt bacon - it was black and carbonised - some dishes were cold, chicken was hard and over cooked. Over an hour after we had finished eating I had to ask that the table be cleared. Staff just didn't seem interested. At this difficult time, we were there to have a good day and spend money, but we were left deflated. Ended up going to another pub and spent our money there. We definitely do not recommend, and will not be back!!! 🤬

In for a meal, food was great and big portions, staff were lovely, we were there during restrictions so booked before hand, they accommodated us when I asked for a table for 6 and couldn't have asked for more

Food was nice but it did take a while to come out. Nice pub, a tad pricey.

Nice enough bar, but the gents toilets are continually disgusting. The smell is awful and there was no soap. Greene King should be ashamed.

Lovely pub. However, not impressed with the food or food service. We ordered sharers. After ordering and paying, we were then told there was no turnip for the haggis, neeps and tatties. Our food arrived (minus 2 of the dishes) and no side plates. It was luke warm at best. My partner had to go seek someone out for the 2 missing dishes. By the time they arrived, along with the side plates, the other food was cold including fried cheese which was no longer soft. I complained to the waiter who simply said "sorry" then asked how long our other food had been out. I told him sorry wasn't going to solve the issue of cold food. To which he simply walked away, with no offer to try to resolve this. We therefore ate the cold food, which was OK but I'm sure would have been better had it been served hot and together, along with side plates, in the first place.
