One of the greatest Wetherspoon I have been.I haven’t been many years for food in Wetherspoons and on my recent visit I was surprised about how much they change the quality of the food. We ordered couple of side plates that’s was very tasty and amazing value. And even tho is busy the service was fast.

A heritage building bang opposite to Glasgow Queen Street and it deserves the crowd that it draws. Another wetherspoon people might say but you cannot beat the price of a pint and food and at such a central location. We went a few times just for the food and also because there was a lack of a decent setting at this price point around this place. Child friendly till 9 PM which is reasonable and we saw quite a few families as well. I would pass the Indian offerings though there are quite some there and stick to the Pizzas and Dessert. We tried the apple Bramble with cream and it was delicious. I read some critics on delays in food reaching the table. To be fair it did take some time, but not very much and instead have to give credit to the boys and girls working so hard there. We need to be a bit generous to their hard work while catering to such a huge crowd and not be very fussy about it.

The staff here are amazing. Having spent years in the bar/restaurant business they are spot on. It's a stunning building in a stunning location.

Beautiful inside, good quality food and drink at an affordable price. Great service considering the size of the place. We had the haggis pizza, garlic pizza bread and the loaded fries. The drinks were great too. Definitely one of the better Wetherspoons in Glasgow.

Perfect location, most likely had the most affordable and one of the best beer in Scotland, we paid around 2.5 £ for the big beer and was very delicious

I popped in just for the toilet and the door man was really nice and directed me towards them. Hands up to him going above and beyond in hospitality. Lastly was very nice and lively inside.

Staff are great, very helpful. Can get busy, sometimes hard to find a table. The building was previously owned by the Bank of Scotland and the interior is pretty amazing. Couldn't say that about the food though. Burger was small and dry with very little relish or sauce and a small gherkin. Wetherspoons used to be good value for money, but not anymore. Their prices have gone up and the quality gone down!

Went for a quick drink. Place was packed. A bar server said she'd be right with. Eventually I was served and asked for a couple of tasters of the hand pulled ales. Bar lady more than happy to oblige. Ordered two pints but it took a while for them to arrive. Place doesn't seem all that clean. Too bust serving drinks than wiping down tables.

Beautiful building inside and out. Hard working pleasant staff. Packed on a Saturday night, less so on our second visit on the Sunday evening. Someone must have turned the heating off on the Sunday, coats and hats remained on. Wetherspoons great value for money on the drinks held our loyalty and we braved the conditions.

Fanciest Wetherspoons I’ve ever been too! Considering it was so busy on a random Thursday evening, staff were great and drinks took under 15 minutes to arrive.

Excellent value , great if you are looking to have a couple of bevys for minimal cost in a cool environment. Just outside town square to boot. People come here to drink not have a fine service experience. Use the app for table service if you don’t want to stand at the bar waiting.

Amazing place with food that comes in large size at great price. Interior is super nice with glass dome. Outside there is huge garden where probably around hundred people can sit and enjoy a pint during a nice day.

As Whetherspoons go this was great, no complaints whatsoever. Obviously bearing in mind the usual expectation of it being tightly packed and busy. We visited as a group of four on an evening/dinner time. We all ordered separately via the app at the table (as it was very busy at the bar). The app was easy to use and the food came out roughly together and quicker than we expected. I tried the haggis pizza, on a recommendation from a (very) close by table and it was delicious. Everything was clean and staff were friendly despite them being run off their feet.

Another day, another Wetherspoons. This one for a Sunday Breakfast. It’s right next to George Square that is teaming with activity in preparation for the Women’s World Championships race that finishes nearby. Of the half dozen or so Spoons we’ve visited in the past couple of weeks this one is in the most architecturally impressive space. Good food and good service as usual. Good fruit bowl as were the decent hot drinks from the self-service machine. Plus again after the race was over.

It’s a great location to grab a bite to eat and drink whilst waiting for a train. It’s right near Queen Street station and pretty central location. There is an outside seating area and the interior is very grande snd spacious. The service was fairly swiftly considering how busy it was too.

Great pub, with a nice spacious atmosphere located in an old back, renovated into a pub/ restaurant that still captures the feel of a Victorian era interior - consistently great beers, cheap generous meals, especially for breakfast.

The food was well priced and price/quality was satisfactory. Magnificent old building so definitely the place to sit down and have a drink while touristing.

Even though it's a Spoons and I generally try to avoid their pubs, I must admit this place has got a lot going for it. Huge place so ideal for a big group - there were 23 of us altogether and we all got seated together no problem. Genuinely attractive surroundings, very high ceilings and a great location. Good selection of beers I must admit.

Worth a visit just to see this beautiful building, right in the centre of Glasgow. Otherwise it's exactly what you'd expect from a Wetherspoons - good range of beers at reasonable prices and pub grub.

Huge pub, huge outside area, nicely decorated and chokka block. Nice view outside of the square.

👍👍 An excellent experience at Miller and Carter tonight. The food came out quickly and was so incredibly delicious - the steak was cooked to perfection and the beef dripping sauce was to die for! All steaks come with house fries they can up upgraded to chunky chips or sweet potato fried but we honestly...
