Looks like it used to be a really nice park that's now in disrepair following council cuts. Even just a few bins and pushing a brush round once in a while would improve it hugely. Disc golf course is novel, good park for dogs aswell

Visited in mid May. Walking distance from Crookston train station on the Paisley canal line. Lovely flowers and fields full of wild garlic. Lovely photo opportunities. Good place for bird watching. Crookston castle is nearby. Nice place for spending an hour or two.

Our fave wee local Park. Wee stroll around the grounds, watch the birds on the pond and explore the cave. Been going here for many years. Only downfall - no play park

Beautiful park and always quiet. Needs to be taken better care of by council. Lots of rubbish in the pond

What a delight to find such a lovely spot on a sunny day. I read that there might be some intrusive school pupils but there were only 6 and they didn't bother us. It is not quite as flat as I had hoped, being disabled but able to walk a bit. Nice trees and views. I look forward ro returning as the seasons progress and I might even give them 5*!

Lovely peaceful walk .well. when those folk aren't playing disc golf firing what look like dog Frisbees everywhere at speed!! my dog thought it was a toy and went to run away with one and a couple of irate middleaged blokes appeared out the bushes looking none too pleased and then my dog was startled and barked at them! The trees and river make a nice touch and the gardens .seen the prehistoric rocks as well was great .wild garlic grows there in the spring and can be picked. In fact a lot of the Chinese community were harvesting it. Squirrels abound and seen a woodpecker once .there is always the odd crazy jogger wanting by and pro cyclists who whizz past as its a national route ! A nice wee gem behind the private hospital .some kids play areas too . Tends to be quiet but unlit so not for night strolls

A nice park to go to and wander about with the dog. It's got good large open stretches you can use to run about with your dog or to sit and relax. It would be nice to have a dog park that is perfectly enclosed but apart from that it's a great place to walk.

Pro's - Lovely park, some really awesome trees and paths lined with wild orchids and a cool stoney grotto. Enclosed feeling inside and you feel like you've left the city for a while. Nice clean air amongst the redwoods and wild orchids. Cons - School close by and the kids frequent the park on their breaks and are noisy and very destructive, burning the trees badly and dropping tonnes of litter, the kids screaming, and dropping litter spoils an otherwise great park. Kids with zero respect for nature and other people using the park, it's a damning testament to the virtually non existent parental guidance and a failing education system here in Glasgow.

Quite dirty and low maintained. At least it has a lot of green. But the river there embarrassing, sad for the wildlife.

Nice walk and well kept grounds. Playpark is ok but there's not much to it, just a slide and a climbing frame really.

In need of a bit of tlc but still a very pleasant place to walk. Enjoyed the pond, although a little overgrown and the grotto walk (but definitely in need of a good clear up)

Grow up there best place on earth

  • 3/5 Steven M. 5 years ago on Google
A quiet park, the kids love it because of the caves, but it is heavily littered. There is a low hanging tree which the kids love to climb, but other than that its a bit average.

The disc golf course at this park is excellent for beginners!

One half of the park isn't particularly interesting (unless you like Disc Golf as there's a course there) but the other side has a lovely pond, gardens, and old buildings to explore and is just generally a really nice space.

  • 3/5 Caroline H. 4 years ago on Google
Could be better, needs cleaned up found loads of small zip bags and and tin foil. People have been using drugs here. There was an abandoned pram in the pond that had alot algae in it.

Gorgeous walking paths and architecture all over the whole park. Trees and plants are labeled so its possible to actually learn a thing or two as you may walk around. Wednesdays the reasons pass is free thus i have not been within the conservatory but just walking on was very relaxing. Workforce was also very safe.

During a cold winter day this small park was stunning. Visits during the spring and summer have been equally beautiful. Connection to the walkway along the White Cart allows any walk to be extended.
