Well kept park, plenty of area to walk around and enjoy the views. Good play park for younger children, which is contained within a gated fence. Tennis courts free to use and accessible using the Glasgow life website or scanning the site QR code. Access by entering number supplied via booking. Floodlights on request also. Tennis courts also have a portable toilet on location. Great opportunity to take youngsters during holidays or even getting out with friends. No equipment supplied, so mind take your own.

I occasionally loop in this park as part of the ritual dog walk. For that purpose, it is ideal with wide open spaces all round. The children's play park looks very good as well. The added bonus is that, on a clear day, there are lovely views of Dumgoyne and the Campsie Fells. On the downside, the parts which are less frequented have been left to rot : bowling green and tennis courts.

Lovely quiet park to visit. Popular with dog walkers and easy for prams (great nap loop). It has a play park with something for all ages at the bottom and a great community garden next to the bowling greens and tennis courts at the top!

The park has amazing views and a lovely setting but is in need of a considerable amount of improvement. In it's heyday it must have been quite something but the bowling greens, tennis courts etc are a faded reminder of what once was.

It's is so peaceful. Not too busy, with a playground and a nice walking path, this park is lovely. It also has a nice view of the nearby hills and has a community garden.

Great for my daily dog walks. If you have a dog and you live in the area or close by, you should take your dog there.

Have known Maryhill Park most of my life. Could do with a massive make over. Starting with an explosion. Has virtually nothing going for it. Compared to neighbouring parks Glasgow CC should be ashamed.

This is where the West Highland Way starts to leave Glasgow and heads for the countryside. Once past the stable you are on the way.

Could do with some flowers and flowering shrubs looks as if the council are doing the bare minimum maintenance

  • 2/5 Isobel M. 4 years ago on Google
Needs modernising. Tennis courts and bowling green needs to be looked after more

Maryhill park is great for dog walkers, there is also a small enclosed play area for kids, the gates close on spring hinges keeping dogs out and kids in. Next to the park there are football fields if there is an interest in sport free to anyone who wishes to use them. Personally I get more fun in this park after heavy snow fall where myself and kids love to go sledging down the steep slopes. ☺

Great place to walk through, I joined up a walk through the Kelvin walkway, Dawsholm, then Maryhill Park. Unfortunately there's no amenities or the attractions that were there when I was younger, the bowling green, pitch and putt and tennis courts are gone, council cutbacks I guess, but it's still a good place to take a long cut if you want.

Great wee park. Some of the best cheggie trees I've ever seen. You could just stand underneath and catch them in a bag.

Maryhill park is a decent wee place. Isn't of course the biggest or best park I'm Scotland never mind the world but it's not the worse. It has a little play park for kids and a long patch of grass. I sometimes see people using it for golf practice. I'd you were to walk around it all of your dog at a slow and easy pace you'd get around it 10-20 minutes so it isn't the longest. I'm going to add reviews to the pitches next to it. There is an ash running track with a big grass rectangle. Next to those there is a part with 2 miniature football fields, good to mess around on. There's a lot of trees, rocks and grass which is good for finding different insects and birds. You can sometimes see deer running through.
