Top Coach and a bunch of great guys. Don't be scared turning up yourself for the first time. Everyone will make you feel at home from day one. Its something about Jiu Jitsu practitioners 97% of the people are nice and humble.

Back to training after the covid restrictions. Non contact traing getting everyone moving the way they need to and taking a look at some of the smaller parts of drills. Temperatures taken on entry & noted with names of all class participants. Sanitiser available & sufficient spacing while training. Numbers for classes restricted and easily booked via the club app.

Friendly gym that's welcoming for beginners . Head coach is passionate and responsive about training and instructions. Gym comes with weight racks for working out. Also has a shower area that has hot water

I was in town with work and dropped in after emailing in advance (ive been training around ten years), was made very welcome. Great bunch of guys there i did the regular class then stayed for the competion class afterwards, even lent me a gi so i could take part. Marcos is a very technical coach also no shortage of rolls. The guys in the comp class were good grapplers and also very tough. You could do a lot worse than train here.

As a beginner in this martial art, I have learned so much in the space of 3 classes in the beginners course. From the staff, cleanliness, quality and knowledge from Marcos and others...I fail to see a single negative about this club. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming to the point that if you are stuck, just ask and they will let you know. The respect everyone has for each other is great and I can see myself carrying this martial art on...without a doubt

The actual classes are decent and the owner/staff are nice. But the entrance and surrounding area are like a third world country very dirty and dilapidated.

This place is absolutely TREMENDOUS! I stopped in for open Mat from the states (Atlanta,Ga). To say everyone was Welcoming and Friendly would be an absolute understatement! I truly felt like family here! I’m so thankful to have met everybody I did! Will certainly be back. Honestly would schedule my next holiday around training here!

Supportive, very welcoming and friendly environment. Marcos is a brilliant instructor and good at breaking down techniques and making students feel supported. The no-gi beginners course is both technical and a lot of fun and makes BJJ really approachable for newcomers. Really great atmosphere and one of my favourite parts of visiting Glasgow!

As an out of towner, it’s always important that when visiting a new gym, that people are welcoming. Well there was no need to worry at MNBJJ. Everyone was friendly and very able, but without ego. The technique was good and the gym clean. Well worth a visitπŸ‘πŸ»

I started at MNBJJ with the 12 week beginners course over a year ago, and have stayed on as a member ever since. This place is incredible, second to none. Some key points: -safe and friendly space for all practitioners of all levels -separate women's change room and a strong and welcomed female presence -12 week beginners course is a great value for money introduction to BJJ, run all year long -up to 13 classes per week plus 5 open mats, split into functional experience levels, all are welcome notwithstanding -large mat area for exercise -excellent separate functional weight lift training area -shower facility for those early morning sessions right before work -challenging and supportive coaching team, which has cascaded to a friendly and helpful ethos with the other members. As a white belt, I've learnt from many other white, blue, purple, and brown belts here (over and above the black belts and coaches) Marcos is an incredible coach and he has established a premier coaching team, BJJ setting, facilities, and culture.

When I arrived, it was ok for parking but granted; this was later in the evening. The gym itself was easy to find, and the signage was clear and seeable. I will not lie; I was nervous as it was my first time. I was made to feel comfortable and made to feel welcome. The teacher was great. And even as a new guy, he made me understand and took the time to help. If you are thinking of going, do not hesitate and go for it.

Started the beginners course a couple of months ago. Enjoying every minute so far and look forward to every class. Coaches are very experienced and excellent at demonstrating/breaking down the basic techniques. Made to feel very welcome with friendly members and a great atmosphere. Fantastic place to begin your BJJ journey!

A very fun and friendly atmosphere. Brazilian jiu-jitsu here is great for everyone regardless of age, weight or fitness level. Marcos is the highest ranked black belt in Scotland and very knowledgeable when it comes to the art. Well recommended.

I have done the 6 weeks fundemental course which has been really good and i have learned loads. The coaches are top class and they go round every single person in the class to see if they are doing the moves correctly to fine tune their learning. Marcos is very approachable and hands on teacher. Make sure to visit the facebook page as its regularly updated with whats going on.

😠 I have had the worst treatment by the staff here. I came with my two year old daughter and wanted to use the little shallow pool. They told me I had to wear a bathing suit so I was even going to purchase one, for over £20, since I promised her that she was going to get in while her older sister was...

🫀 They were not able to reopen the Sauna and jacuzzi since 2020, which is more than pathetic now. These were just renovated pre Covid and we are not able to use them for 3 years and there is no hope, that we can use them anytime soon.

πŸ‘ Great gym in Glasgow, they have big training area, swimming poot, sauna, and steamer room. If you are a student at Strathclyde University, you have many choices to join. 😠 I started using this gym as it is the only Ladies only gym I could find. Whilst I was working out on Monday 26th September at around 20:45, a man walked in not once but twice to grab some weights, as if there weren’t enough in the bigger hall. There should be stricter measures to ensure that the lad...

🫀 This is a good budget gym and the facilities are overall really good. One major drawback are the lockers. There is a big problem with lockers that don't lock as the locks are jammed.
