Cafe Bagel shop

🫤 The bagels are good, but the workers are ALWAYS rude. I understand working in customer service is hard but college students are always chill and nice so there is no excuse for being disrespectful and giving attitude. I’m literally just ordering a bagel, like relax. There’s no need to be nasty 🙄 People often mention bagels, bagel, orders, times, time, phone,

I used to love this place but the quality has rapidly declined. They are consistently out of the majority of their bagels and cream cheese, and when they do have what you want it takes 15-20 minutes for them to prepare one bagel. I also even saw the staff once with a bottle of wine in the back during Ry's after hours. Maybe that is part of the reason performance is so low.

Workers are rude and you would think the establishment would do something about it after all of these negative reviews. College kids are chill and understanding so there’s no reason to be acting like this. I work in the service industry and even when it is crazy busy I do my best to make sure I am kind to the customers.

I kindly kept correcting my orders but today I got home and realized they gave me 1 cinnamon bagel and 2 plain bagels instead of 2 sesame and 2 plain. When I called them, they said “Well, we didn’t charge you extra” even though it wasn’t my concern, i needed 4 bagels. They tried to blame me saying that I ordered only 3 plain bagels. I don’t know why I got a cinnamon then. Their quality got worse but can’t say the same thing about their customer service since it always sucked. Ask for jelly and butter on your bagel and enjoy your butter. You are lucky if you can feel the taste of the jelly. I understand it’s busy and hard to keep up with orders but how can you constantly mess up orders you take? What’s exactly wrong with this place? I was a barista and I know this is not how you treat your customers and correct your mistake.

The bagels and sandwiches are pretty good. Lines can be long at times. The coffee is ok could be better. Prices are overall ok.

I go here because it's the nearest bagel place to me on campus, not because its especially good. The menu has lots of variety but often times they are out of everything--and get their deliveries on Saturday mornings, which is when they take meal swipes and are very busy. Bagels are small and not great compared to places I'm used to at home. Line can get long, and today the cream cheese put on my bagel was rancid so I couldn't even eat it. Usually it's a fine place to get a bagel but it's nothing special.

I get a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich here at least twice a week. Every part of each of my sandwiches has always tasted fresh and delicious. I am also a big fan of the "Yesterday's Today" muffins and other baked goods. Only reason for removing a star is sometimes the line is literally out the door and I have never seen more than one cashier active at one time. There have been a couple occasions where I've had to bail on my precious breakfast sandwich in favor of making it to class on time. The wait for the food is also long at times, but in my opinion is acceptable for the fresh food they provide.

My experience here was excellent! The shop was clean, the Bagels are made fresh daily! The coffee is awesome and the prices.. dude the prices are crazy cheap! The most expensive thing on their menu is 5.50! If you want a quality breakfast, with a chill setting to study or whatever you may be doing, Ry's is the place to do it! I definitely suggest checking this spot out!

Update: Meal swipe only sometimes broken for the one day it's offered. Friendly service though. Call ahead feature is nice to avoid the line but can sometimes be challenging to get a pick-up right after 8. Wide selection to chose from, new menu items constantly, solid quality, decent value.

worst bagel establishment i ever been to, the inflation prices are crazy not to mention they have the rudest manager who wanted to overcharge me on my meal plan when i’ve been paying a 2.00 upcharge for months. Their phone system is always messed up and i’ve found hair multiple times in my orders. it’s time to boycott rys !!

I've been going here for quite some time. I don't like the bagels. I grew up in Cherry Hill, and these are not real bagels. They are bread in the shape of bagels. My son thinks they're fine so I order for him because of the convenient location. I get my bagels elsewhere. I've been ordering a half dozen cinnamon raisin bagels almost once a week. The cost is $7.25, and I give a $0.75 tip. Last week, a guy called me at 12:21 pm (as shown on my phone) to ask if I was coming to get my order. My receipt says I was there at 12:33 pm. They close at 1. The only time I forgot to get my bagels - last year - I realized after noon, and I called the store, asked if they would be there about 1:15 pm or if they preferred I get them the next day, promising to pay the full price for them. I even offered my credit card number over the phone. They told me to come - no problem. Today, I called to place an order and called 22, yes 22 times before someone finally answered the phone. The man said I was no longer allowed to place phone orders because I didn't get my bagels until 20 minutes after closing last time, and I've done this too many times. I told him that was not me. He had me confused with someone else. I told him I was 100% sure, but he was sure he was right. I will not go there again. I have my receipt to prove it, but I will not support a place who is so rude to their customers. For anyone who does do this to them, the customers should be told when getting there after closing that if they do it again, they will no longer be allowed to place phone orders. This way, they will be sure to tell the right people! I went to Township Bagels instead, and I recommend it! The bagels are much closer to what I grew up with.

With very little advance notice, Ry's went above and beyond to make a massive bulk order of bagels to feed an entire senior class. Bagels were ready bright and early in the morning and were devoured by our students. Ry's bagel AND cream cheese varieties cannot be beat, and their customer service was amazing! Thank you!

Coffee isn’t great, but It was like $1 so I can’t complain that much- it’d be cool if specialty drinks were made there like lattes. The bagel was delicious- and house baked.

The prices are pretty good, the quality is probably the best you can get in terms of on campus breakfast. A few reviews mention rude staff but they’ve all seemed pretty chill to me
