We've come here several times and we're amazed at how much value we get for our money! 2 pools, hot tub, sauna, free great breakfast, and the rooms are immaculate! They take such wonderful care of the whole property! Gardens are beautiful and everything is always perfectly clean and in working order! Thanks again for a wonderful trip!

Simple but tasteful. Clean and well kept. Decent breakfast. But most impressive, the kind and thoughtful and helpful staff. Stopped here on our way to Utah with our toddler and baby and had a pleasant overnight stay. Felt safe and relaxing. The rose gardens were beautiful! And the price for value could not be beat! Thank you, Cedar Lodge!

We stayed in the 4 bedroom cabin. Nothing fancy, but had everything we needed! The beds were comfy. Only had one bathroom, but we made it work. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, plates, cups, and silverware. They really need to get a spatula though! Regular coffee maker provided and full size fridge/freezer. No ice maker or trays. There's a coin-operated washer and dryer attached to the cabin, which takes $2 in quarters to run each. Great location! Quick to everything in town and quick access to the road up to the ski mountain.

The location is beautiful and convenient with a gas station and a little shop right across the hotel and with the lodge right across the foot of the mountain with a stunning view. Breakfast is included with your stay and you can get a 10% discount code for the Iron Mountain Hot Springs and Park. The rooms smelled nice and clean and it was pretty spacious, included a microwave and a minibar. Towels were clean, sheets smelled clean and the tub was shinning 10/10 of cleanliness. Staff was nice and friendly and I would recommend going back

This was a nice place to stay. Great shower, pool and hot tub were nice. Free breakfast was decent. Every room had a fridge and microwave. Walking distance to convenience stores, a liquor store and a couple restaurants. I would stay again.

The room was very nice and seemed like they were renovated recently. Check-in and out was very easy and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I had an issue with some charges on my credit card and they were very helpful with the situation. We ended up leaving a day early for personal reasons and they were kind enough to refund us for the last day that we did not use. The indoor pool was large and clean. I would definitely stay here again. Parking was ample and I love that you can park right outside of your room.

Great place to stay! Great view! 5 minutes from the hot spring! The service was amazing! The front desk was very helpful! The room is very clean! The bathroom is extremely clean! Safe parking because you park in front of your room! And there are indoor and outdoor pools, a sauna, and a hot tub!

My two best friends and I loved our kitchenette room. It has lots of space and a spare room we didn't expect. The breakfast was simple but we knew what they offered so we expected it (boiled eggs, cereal, bagels). Price was probably a little high but overall we were still happy. Wifi wasn't the best

The best place I ever stayed in. The location is great really close to taco bell and starbucks. The lady in the front desk is so kind and welcoming. Fast check in. The building might looks old from outside but the room was super clean and the beds are very comfortable and I like that pets are not allowd and the small carpet in the room was clean. I highly recommend it

Stayed for 4 nights. Beds were comfortable. Continental breakfast was meh. Walls are paper thin. Heard the neighbors to the side and upstairs every night. If you need a comfortable, affordable place to lay your head while visiting the valley, it serves its purpose.

Best deal for the money! Some of the friendliest people we’ve met. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Free breakfast is good. No meat when we stayed, but have other protein sources. Inside pool with hot tub. Plenty of parking. Just minutes from the downtown area so you’re away from the heavy traffic congestion. We will definitely stay here again!

I thoroughly enjoy staying at the Cedar Lodge! Their staff is always polite, welcoming and helpful, with bright personalities! As are their guests! They serve breakfast from 6-9:30, nothing fancy but just the perfect smaller items to start your day off right! Bagels, donuts, muffins, toast, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, eggs, Coffee and juice. The beds are so comfy! Their tubs are your average size tubs but their hot water is amazingly hot! Their wifi is fantastic! And their location is convenient and close to all things in Glenwood Springs. Overall a fabulous place!!

Absolute bang for your buck. The rooms are everything you need. Clean and spacious. The lady at the desk was one of the friendliest front desk employees I’ve ever experienced… which you don’t come across often these days. Lots of parking and the lot felt very safe. There’s also a sauna, pool and hot tub that we didn’t get a chance to try out but looked nice. Couldn’t recommend more! 10/10

Stay for a night on our way to Chicago. This place was great. Room was clean. The owner was nice, setting up the sauna room for us early in the morning after the free breakfast before checking out. Hoping to come back when we're not in so much rush.

We love staying here when our budget is a little smaller. We love Glenwood and sometimes we cannot afford a Hotel Colorado or the Glenwood resort. This is a great option. The staff is always very friendly and very nice and helpful. The rooms are always clean and they have lots of different room style options for families.

We were so surprised when we walked into our room. Our room was awesome & a lot bigger than we expected it to be. Full bedroom with a queen, a kitchen, plus a twin & a queen. This is such a cute lodge. Very clean. The staff is very friendly. Right off the main road, close to so many restaurants & a 5 minute drive to downtown. We will definitely stay here again.

Had a wonderful overnight stay here on a recent train trip. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was also very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. Would recommend if you are on a budget and need a last minute hotel. Good amenities for the rate. Within about a 25-35 minute walk of Amtrak.

My fam have loved our stay at the Cedar Lodge. The service is unmatched- our daughter locked us out of the bedroom and the amazing maintenance team/owner came right away to help us and were so gracious and kind when we were embarrassed about it. The continental breakfast hit the spot for our mornings fueling up to go on adventures. It is a pain to get in and out of the parking lot, but that’s a city planning issue and definitely not under the control of the hotel. My husband mentioned our family suite could have used a bit more seating as in a comfy chair or love seat since the room sleeps 7. I wouldn’t have noticed, it wasn’t an issue at all, just an observation. My family was upgraded when we checked in just because I was chatting with the owner and she asked how big my family was and she was so generous and gracious to upgrade us— unwarrantedly. The family suite was perfect for our family; mom, dad, two grown teen boys and a preschooler. We felt that we all had plenty of room. Both pools are fantastic. The beds and linens are comfy. But my two 5-star, over the top reviews are- the shower is AMAZING (heat/water pressure, etc) and the coffee at breakfast is fantastic.

It was ok. Rooms could be updated. Nice front desk person. Clean. Great location. Parking can get competitive....seemed like there were some younger adults there that were there to party for the weekend but it didn't affect my sleep.

Very clean and quiet place. Even though the parking lot was completely full on a Monday night in mid September there was no noisey or rowdy people and very much will come back here again. The nice swimming pool closes after Labor Day so beware. Anna at front desk was very nice and helpful. Thanks

We had an excellent time! It was very clean, well kept, quiet and great breakfast- lots of variety! The owner and staff keep this place like a “home away from home”! The only motel I’ve seen with indoor and outdoor pool, jacuzzi and sauna!

We have enjoyed staying at the Cedar off and on for 20 years. The rooms are clean, well appointed, comfortable, and warm. Not terribly expensive before the winter season. Plenty of rooms for large groups. Serves breakfast. Inside and outdoor pool.

Excellent and clean motel! Great staff and perfect location too. It was quiet and even has a beautiful garden area behind the rooms. Never sure what to expect from a little 2 star motel but it was such a nice stay! Very impressed!

Clean, cheap, and comfortable! No frills, very well priced. Only downside was the loud noises from neighboring rooms, but that can happen anywhere! Plenty of towels provided in the room, individual who checked us in at the front desk was super polite. Check in/out very simple. Quick and simple breakfast items available each morning.

Super clean! We stayed in a unit with a kitchenette. We even had a full size table. The grounds are well kept, with beautiful flowers. For an older style lodge you can tell the owners put money back into the lodge. Beautiful and affordable. We will be back!

Nice place to stay. Quiet. Clean. Comfortable beds. Beautiful view of the mountains. Only complaint is 6 inches of snow fell during the night, and the lot wasn't cleared early AM. We have a low to the ground clearance on our car and were worried about getting out. We managed.

Pros: clean and has everything you need for a good price. The pool and hot tub is great to have. The view is amazing and lots of things to do nearby. Cons: breakfast is only carbs and sugar, not even boiled eggs. The shampoo packets you get are impossible to open, unless you have scissors. Everything is old. The mattresses are okay, towels are super old. Overall it's a good value. But if you're not into a sugar filled breakfast, bring your own. The grocery store is a half mile away and the rooms have fridge and microwave. And just bring your own toiletries, maybe even towels. Not a bad place, but a few little extra touches could make a big difference!

It is an older building but was very clean. The pool and sauna area were clean and a nice temperature. The continental breakfast was the usual with bagels, toast, cereal, and yogurt (nothing cooked was provided). It was an okay place to stay. The staff at the front desk was very rude. It seems like checking me in was a huge inconvenience. My biggest complain would be the room temperature. It was hard to keep the room a consistent, warm temperature. With no thermostat, only a wall unit heater you had to get up to turn it on and off. The room would get really hot and then cool down. It also meant when you got back to the room you either had it really hot because you left the heater running all day or it was freezing because you left it off. We stayed in February and I got cold most nights and had to get up to turn the heater back on and then would wake up sweating as the room got super hot. The blankets provided were thin and there were no extras in the room.

I visited this place around Christmas of 2021, and it has just taken a while to get this review in (lots hit the fan when I was gone, lol). Anyways, this was a great experience!!! The lady at the front desk was the best ever!!! We were in the middle of a severe winter storm and all roads were closed (even the interstate)!!! She actually took the time to talk with me after getting checked in about what storms like that can be like and what I should probably do next. Thanks to her information I was able to do some research and get out of there the next day (the only window before getting snowed in again for a week), which was super important because I wasn't expecting my trip to set me back and reroute me as much as it did and had to be back at work 2 days later... nonstop driving for around 30 hours but I was able to get to work on time!!! :) The hot tub was absolutely awesome, even walking through the snow storm to get to it and back. The view was amazing, the rooms were comfortable, everything I needed was taken care of at a very affordable price (especially for Colorado). I didn't get to stick around for breakfast, I had a storm to outrun (though it followed me all day till it turned to night I was able to manage). Next time I try going up to Aspen I will definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend this place!!! :)
