Prices were high for the portion size. Food tasted rather bland. The pizza could have been cooked a few minutes longer as there was no crisp to the crust, and the base was very thin and soggy. Also, if you get the margherita pizza had a balsamic glaze on it that was not mentioned in the menu. I had high hopes because the pictures looked so good but was left disappointed.

Newly opened and highly recommended. The food is delicious and the staff friendly. The presentation is fresh and inviting with options of inside and outside seating.

We love La Casetta Italian Kitchen, have been coming here since opening weekend, and we used to go to the owners previous restaurant as well. The food is absolutely delicious, the Mushroom Arancini Balls and the Calamari Fritti are must haves! On top of that, last night we had an amazing daily special, the Spinach & Feta Raviolo with Burnt Butter and Bacon Shards, so good! As well as our favourite pizza, the Pork and Fennel Pizza. Dessert was the lovely, light, Sticky Date Pudding, be careful it's a big serve! 10/10, you will not be disappointed in the food!

Visited for Sunday lunch with 4 grandkids and 3 adults. The food was absolutely fantastic and the service was very friendly and efficient. Everyone had a great time and I’m so glad we have this lovely, cozy, little Italian gem nearby. Our new pizza place!!

These guys are just amazing, and we were so excited to find out that they had opened a beautiful Italian restaurant. We had a double birthday celebration with my family and boy did they not disappoint. The service, the atmosphere and definitely not forgetting the food. We had the FEED ME choice from the menu, and the beautiful food just kept coming and coming. Our table of 8 were so happy with all the choices and our tummies were also very full and happy. We went for the first time today and was so pleasantly surprised. The food was absolutely amazing so many flavour explosions. My absolute flavour things were The crumbed Ollies with feta, the pesto chicken pasta, and the pesto chicken pizza ……. Omg the Mushroom Arancini balls were spectacular! The best I have ever had ! They are a very friendly, lovely couple! You MUST check this place out ! Support our locals ! So good to finally have amazing food in Ormeau

The food was to die for and all our staff enjoyed their thank you lunch. We will definitely be hosting another staff lunch through La Casetta Italian Kitchen again. I haven't heard a bad thing from the employees since and they have been asking when they are getting pizza again. We had the La Casetta team cater our work Christmas party this year and I have to report that the food was definitely one of the highlights of the event. The pizza's are absolutely amazing, some of the best I have ever had! These guys are the best! They catered our event and from start to finish Bev and Leigh were so easy to deal with, had great communication and definitely know their stuff. They were suggesting things we didn’t even think of! Highlight of the night was the pork and fennel pizza! We will be using them again and 100% recommend!

Food trucks don't always have a reputation for 5star food, but the food coming out of La Casetta's van, was absolutely phenomenal! Cannot fault a single dish (and we tried one of everything on the menu). Will certainly be hiring these guys for our next function!

La Casetta provided excellent catering services recently for my son's 21st Birthday Party. The pizzas kept on coming until all guests were very full. The leftovers were placed in pizza boxes and were all gobbled up towards the end of the evening when the young adults became hungry again! Thank you La Casetta you made the evening enjoyable, tasty and stress free! :))

Went for date night with my husband and it didn’t disappoint! Pasta was amazing! You can tell they hand make everything and use quality ingredients. Friendly service and great drinks menu. It’s nice to support a local family business.

Some of the best Italian I have ever had. The service food and experience was amazing. Highly recommended the beef rague. The crumbed olives so delicious. Will be back.
