A good day trip destination for the whole family. Its also fairly close from Harare. The only delaying factor is the toll gate at times. The road is okay just 2 or 3 places with potholes but not the alarming type of potholes. Make sure to get there on time to enjoy all activities. It's also better to go as a group so that you don't wait for late comers. The guides are very knowledgeable and will educate you a lot. The canoeing is excellent and refreshing. For day trips also carry some charcoal and meat for an end of day barbecue, cause you will see others doing that after the day and get jealous.

Refreshing outdoor setting with a variety of animals to see. Particularly enjoyed the game drive and the tales shared by the guide. Lunch was nice but served cold and the waiters seemed overstretched to attend to guests.

It wasn't what was advertised. Overall service delivery was mediocre. If you want to waste your money please come here.

Privacy and relaxation...But you got to bring everything that you may want to use

We had a 3 day stay at Bally Vaughn, excellent service and the friendliest people! Good food and beautiful wildlife, very knowledgeable staff. Overall one of my favorite places to visit

Had an incredible lunch and day safari at Bally Vaughn. The food was superb and Gordon, Debbie and team treated us like royalty. The safari itself was fantastic, from petting the lion cubs, to watching the animal feedings to driving all over the park to find the elephants- all was spectacular. Thank you to Gordon and Debbie. We highly recommend the Day Safari experience

There hasn’t been much improvement done on the place having been a few years ago, more needs to be done to improve the facilities. The reception staff is not helpful when asked questions. Food was not great. Meat was dry. Tiger encounter was unique to experience and enjoyed that. This visit fell short for disappointment compared to the previous visit. Staff needs to be more engaging.

Wonderful place for game viewing

We really enjoyed our stay at this lodge, the tour guide was very patient and well informed about the animals. Stripes the zebra was very friendly and so was the ostrich.

Rooms need an upgrade and extra staff on holidays for effective service and its wouldn't hurt to sell a variety of snacks and ice

Game drive was really nice. We did canoeing which was do much fun and safe
