Sincerely don’t understand the good ratings. While the staff was helpful, the private room had one tiny ceiling fan and no air circulation so it was incredibly hot. Bathrooms were dirty and smelly - someone left a period cup in the shower too. Slamming doors at all hours of the night, and the keys to the building don’t work very well. Seemed more like a long-term stay hostel based on the people there, not fit for short term travelers as it’s not social. *the hostels response shows how how respectful they are to guests - LOL. I did state my concerns but nothing was done regarding cleanliness, providing fan, etc. good service doesn’t always make up for the mess you’ve created! Be warned and spend your money at better hostels across the city.

Amazing terrace, clean, friendly staff, and free breakfast food, juice, tea and coffee. Also they wash clothes for free and fold them up and return them to you. They also had a good knowledge of the area and offered a paid bar crawl and free food events.

Nice roomy hostel in the Eixample just north of El Born. While not amazingly located a bed at Fabrizzios is excellently priced and up to standard for many European hostels. The namesake terrace is very nice and a great place to relax after a long day or in between outward treks. I mainly used my bed as a jumping off pad to spend 90% of my waking hours out in/on the town.

Don't risk it being fully booked and get secure your stay now! I've stayed for 5 nights in a 10-bed room. The hostel is easy to reach whether you're arriving by plane or train as it's just a 10-minute walk from the Plaza de Cataluña - La Rambla. In addition, there are 2 different metro stops within 3 minutes of a walk. The hostel itself is great - clean, spacious, friendly, and overall great atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. There are at least 6 different restrooms (that I can remeber now) and 4 of those contain showers. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There was a guy and a girl both originally from Brazil and they were just amazing and kind. What I was the most impressed by was the services they offer. All these below are FREE of charge. First of all, they can wash your clothes! They dry them and put them on your bed. FOR FREE!!! I have never seen a hostel or even a hotel for that matter to do it for free. Namely, there's a fridge full of eggs, butter spread, chocolate spread, different kinds of jams, cereal, milk, bread, and fresh coffee throughout the day. You can take whatever you want, whenever you want, as many times as you want. AMAZING! Next, they provide you with clean towels whenever you ask. There's even an iron. I am simply amazed by what the hostel is like and trust and believe that when I go back to Barcelona, I will be looking no further than this hostel.

Wow! Just had a great and amazing experience. The food was good and the place is so clean and huge. It was a great stay and the price is also not that expensive. The owner is so sweet and understanding. They will help you all the time. Huge rooms and the washrooms are also neat. I would def visit again when I come to Barca again.

One of the BEST HOSTELS IN BARCELONA. Super friendly staff, very clean, small, spacious rooms, and feels like home. Free breakfast. Good location.

Everything you need, quiet hostel with sufficient private rooms available. A helpful staff with fantastic knowledge of the city will help you to make the most of your trip. Fundamentally cannot recommend Fabrizzios Terrace enough. The best part of all was the location. About a mile or less from La Sagrada Familia, La Boqueria, Plaça Catalonia, Parc de la Ciutadella and the Gothic Quarter. You can walk anywhere in the city from this location. Thanks to Rafa especially for his recommendations on dining and other attractions around the city that even the best researched tourists are sure to miss on their own. Look no further for a hostel!!!!

Nice staff and good location. But the rooms are like saunas and the cheap detergent they wash with is full of toxic chemicals that needs to be thrown in the garbage. I have to rewash all of my clothes now to avoid chemical burns.

Clean, good location, simple free breakfast and drinks. When checking in, the counter staff will introduce the environment of the entire hostel. The beds are comfortable and there are towels provided. There's kitchen, microwave, refrigerator and large public space with terrace.

Clean bed, clean toilet, overall very hygienic, receptionists are very friendly. Good location, can easily access to most of the attractions. I will definitely recommend everyone to stay here. Even for girls.

I am an older solo traveller and I often stay in hostels because I work on the principle of “sleep cheap, eat and drink well”. Staying here was perfect as it has an affordable, simple, comfortable single room. Something that maybe more youth hostels might like to look at more closely. Aside from that, FT ticks the box being strategically located some 15mins easy walking from Placa de la Catalunya, the heart of Barcelona and so easy to get to on Aerobus A1 from El Prat airport. Unless u are prepared to invest some time studying the extensive Metro routes in Barcelona, be prepared to walk. I managed to see most of what I wanted to see in 3 days of walking and came away fitter for it. I can recommend FT to anyone looking for a bit of privacy in a very well managed, spotlessly clean hostel that also has a beautiful sunny terrace in the heart of Barcelona.

Perfect place to enjoy a quiet stay in Barcelona. The hostel is clean, tidy and the kitchen is working. The pricing is fair. You can only chill/drink/play in the common rooms/terrace until 23:59, so if you want to party IN the hostel you might consider another one. Breakfast was available all day and sufficient. The location of the hostel is perfect, close to two metro stations, a bus station and also in walking distance of many cool places. Fabrizzio, the host, is very nice and always happy to make good recommendations. Would go there again during my next stay in Barcelona.

Friendly staff, communicate in English and Spanish. Good location: in the city center, there is a grocery supermarket with good prices, near the bus stop, including the airport. There is a terrace where you can sunbathe, well, or just eat in the sun). Breakfast is available in the kitchen throughout the day: muesli, croissants, cupcakes, juices, tea, coffee, milk, butter, bread. The kitchen has a microwave and stovetop. Nearby (a quarter) there is a supermarket with good prices. Lockers are there and work, a towel is provided. 1 separate shower with toilet and 2 combined shower with toilet (in the showers of the buttons, which were written in other reviews, there is no water supply, just turn on the water like at home) All common areas are always clean, well staffed. Disadvantages: WiFi does not work on the terrace (in all others the location of the hostel works fine). There was no fruit for breakfast (in a similar hostel Fabrizzio's Petit there was always fruit). In the morning he constantly could not find a free toilet. The microwave has not been washed for at least a month. Separate kitchen and breakfast area. You do not have access to food at night. At the time I was there, the visitors were not very talkative.

One if the best hostels I ever stayed in. Perfectly located to explore Barcelona in walking distance. Also the main bus terminal is just about a 15 minutes walk away. The hostel offers an all day breakfast with coffee, several juices, sweet and salty. Everything is super clean, even better than hotels and cosy. The staff is excellent, very quick, friendly and watch out for you. Another highlight is the beautifully decorated terrace, not with a beautiful view but cosy spots to linger in the green. There's also plenty of bathrooms and toilets available. The rooms are very spacious and even in the heat well cooled down to sleep comfortably with linen. Loved everything here and will recommend anyone visiting Barcelona to stay here.

Nice Hostel, with a very nice terrace indeed. The rooms are cosy and well furnished, the beds are comfortable. The location is very convenient, next to Arco de Triumfo and in the heart of the city.

J’ai passe un bonne reste!! I love the host; I hope he is still there. By far the most welcoming, friendly stay. I am blanking on the hosts name b/c I visited in august 21. He was very accommodating for reasonable requests. I talked to everyone in the hostel and they did our laundry for staying 3 nights. I went with a group of three but this place is great for solo travelers.

Definitely recommended! Clean, great location, nice facilities, everything you may need for your Barcelona visit. The staff makes you totally feel home!

Imagine a place where you taste a morning coffee on a stylish terrace, enjoying the blue of the sky. This is such a place! Moreover ... affordable price, clean rooms, friendly service, good location, 24/7 access. A lot of the furnishings are a bit old... however clean. My seal of approval goes there!

The location was perfect, and although there was no AC, that was made up for by fans and ice cold showers (plus, ac is not the norm here, so I can't hold that against them at all). The staff was absolutely fantastic. Most of them are long term travelers themselves, and love talking to guests. They made my stay! You also get free breakfast with coffee, juice and snacks, and are welcome to hang out on the terrace after you check out until you need to head out. You are able to leave your bags, but be aware that it is unsecured. There are small lockers for your valuables while you stay. I would definitely come back.

Really cool location and so nice people here. The hostel is clean and the breakfast delicious. You can walk to the best attractions in Barcelona from the hostel, all things are in the near from the hostel.

An absolute YES and definitely recommend. We had a twin room with a bunk bed. One of the cheapest places to stay in Barcelona but honestly I couldn't ask for more. It's not on top floor of the building as I was expecting (I'm 6months pregnant so I was really relieved not having to climb all the way up). Clean, cosy, quiet with lovely helpful staff. Clean kitchen with EVERYTHING for cooking your own food, also all day breakfast so you can always snack on something or have a tea or coffee. Nice dining area, also chilling area with sofas, books and tv. Rooms super minimalistic (literally a bed and a couple of chairs and a table, a cloth hanger) but reasonable size and really really CLEAN and beds super comfortable with nicely smelling fresh sheets and towels. Also, we could check in before the formal time so it was really nice. Small heater in the bedroom keeping you super warm in a middle of January. Tiny single showers but clean and really hot. Honestly, not sure if you can find better value in Barcelona for this money. Also they have this lovely cute terrace outside with plants and colorful tiles that only adds up to the great overall impression.

Really good hostel !!! Staff is amazing. Always smily, welcoming and they will give you great advice. The place is always clean and the breakfast is included (toast (with jam and butter, spread paste)), coffee, cereals with milk (cow and almond milk), madeleine. Beds are comfortable. 3 bathrooms, great terrace and nice living room with a big couch, Netflix, computers, video games, etc.
