Gus our waiter was amazing. So friendly and polite. 1st time eating here and it was amazing. You can see all the staff cared about their guests and job. Got amazing service from walking in the door to leaving. The cook(s) know how to cook. Food was amazing and done perfectly. Can't wait to go back

I really enjoy Carlos O'Kelly's. I usually go for lunch. The prices are reasonable and the service is outstanding. I ordered one of the combos so I could try a variety of items. There was a taco, a burrito and some enchiladas. I thoroughly enjoyed each of them. Of course the chips and salsa are always delicious as well!

I like this place!!! I have eaten many dishes in this place. The last time was chiken fingers 🤤🤤with fries and my wife some tacos with baked meat and shrimps... Tasty!!! I really recommend this restaurant.

We were so excited to go since ours that was close closed. Sadness...BUT we love the place and it didn't disappoint! Our server was amazing! It was later in the day and he was the only one on the floor and rocked it! So full of positive energy and with a smile! The food was delicious! The only thing I have is the bathrooms need a little work. The counter top is kind of warped. We had a great experience! We will be back when we head that way again!

Brant was the best server we’ve had in a long time. Very friendly and enthusiastic. He made us feel at home while juggling a few other tables in his section. Food was terrific and drinks were outstanding. Me and my wife appreciate Brant and the staff!

If I could give zero stars I would. After being sat at a table that was sticky and disgusting. We requested they wipe our table. I was told they would be right back. Another 10 minutes went by and our waiter came, we said we'd like to wait for our table to be cleaned first. He nonchalantly said "okay" and took the order from the next table. Another 10 minutes went by and we're still sitting at a sticky table and 2 employees have ignored it. I finally decide to go get the manager. This wait is enough to make me change my mind. She comes out as my child and I are leaving. I tell her we are leaving. Give her the story. Remind her I understand the sticky carpet. Carpet can't be changed annually. But a sticky table is enough for me to leave. Gross.

Queso is velveeta and rotello. Service is poor at best they are more concerned with go-orders. Margaritas is ok, too much ice and very sweet. Seems popular with the locals.

Food was good but took forever to get it. I was still eating & server grabbed dirty dishes & put on my plate & took them. I tried to tell her I was still eating (still had fork in hand) & she ignored me & took everything any way. She didn't even ask if we were done eating. Don't think we will be going back anytime soon!

This is honestly my favorite restaurant. If you haven't tried their Fiesta sauce, I highly recommend it, as well as the fajita cheese crisp, which I always order with extra garlic sauce on it because that stuff is absolutely divine goodness. Admittedly I am not a personal fan of their cheese sauce that is used on a couple of different items, but that is a personal preference. Overall the food is all great quality and in the many, many years I have eaten here, I can count on one hand the amount of times I've had less than great service. It's a fun, inviting atmosphere and I can never turn it down.

The food was good but not a fan of the margarita. I tried two different margaritas and didn't care for either one. Good food and large portions.

I love Carlos, but this was a very disappointing birria taco. Suppose to be saucy and have a consome with it and there wasn't :( meat was good but still sad.

I've gone here since I was a kid. The food always tastes great, and is always fresh. The staff are friendly, and the food gets to you in a timely manner. Definitely a great place to go with the family. The place has improved since the last time. There are new ways they serve your silverware, an organized menu, and more. Still a great place to eat out.

The chips and salsa is probably the best in town. The food could be better seems like the sauce comes from a can. But the atmosphere is very cozy and relaxing.

Well prepared and on time. Queso wasvery tasty. Regular salsa would be enhanced with more cilantro and touch of sugar. Chicken needs more spice and less salt. Overall a decent, tasty meal.

We had great service this evening! Super busy and our waiter Gus was AWESOME!! Gave us good advice to help save some money and was on the ball! Kept us informed and made sure we were doing alright, made sure we didnt run out of anything we needed. Food was good

Waiter spilled a full glass of iced tea on my 85 year old sister. After requesting to speak with the manager, the waiter came back with a 20% discount on her meal and stated he had talked to the manager. We again requested to speak with the manager. A bartender, not the manager came.(the waiter had not talked to the manager as the manager was not even at the restaurant) My sisters blouse was tea stained, probably ruined, and they wanted to give a 20% discount on one meal! We told the waitress from the bar what happened and requested they make it right to her. They finally comped her meal and should have offered to pay for cleaning he clothes, but didn't. We have been frequent customers in the past, but will NEVER return.

The food is very delicious. Chips and salsa while you wait for your order. The orders are delivered to the table in a timely manner. It’s very clean and the restrooms are clean. I love their food

Called in an order for a near wheelbarrow load of chips, salsa, guac and queso and it was ready in 15 minutes with a smile, helpful staff member and pretty reasonable check. Also had an app order at the same time as the phone call and it, too, was ready and waiting for me. Everything was perfect, tasted great and the afternoon chips and salsa treat for my team was a smashing success. Well done, Carlos team!

We decided to eat at Carlos O’Kelly’s because we have not been there for several months. The food is not like as it has been in the past, in fact, it is down right disgusting. None of us finished our meals. My entree was not as described, as my chimichanga was dry and tasteless. My husband ordered the seafood enchiladas and I’m sure the seafood was on the verge of spoiling. When he cut into them, the smell was EXTREMELY fishy. The enchiladas also tasted rancid and were cold throughout. We complained to the manager and her only response was that she was sorry. We are sorry too because we will NEVER dine at Carlos O’Kelly’s again. There are many other great dining choices in Grand Island that you do not leave feeling ill.

There are pictures of people's food on this page that look awesome. Mine and my daughter's food didn't look good at all. Her plate of enchiladas and beans looked like they'd been on a plate under a warmer for a while. Plus a family of 5 came in after us and ordered well after we did and got their food exactly after we got ours and we waited forever after we ordered for it. Now I remember why it's been so long since I've been there and won't be back.

Waitress was amazing. Very nice little spot. Food was good, but we had fajitas and it was mainly all onion. Very little peppers or meat.

Food was great service was kinda slow waiter walked by several times stopped a couple to refill drinks otherwise didn't stopped to check on us there was a table next to us he frequented. But never asked us if there was anything else after giving us the bill he didn't even come back for the receipt. Not the best first impression of a restaurant.

Chicken Enchiladas were excellent and the chips and salsa were just right!

We had not been here in years. Food and margaritas were delicious! We could have dined on just chips, salsa and queso. Our server was very personable.

Braden was our waiter. Excellent server! Food was top notch, delicious. Very pleased and highly recommend !

Chips and salsa are great the rest is meh. You would be better off going to literally any other mexi joint in town
