Best Vets in the D/FW area! Genuinely caring, gentle, and honest to provide the best treatment for your fur babies. They take the time to explain care/medical things about your pet - no rushing out of office visit, which is very important to me, because my fur babies are considered as family members. As I advised before, NW Animal Hospital has the Best Veterinarians ever! I trust them. My fur babies are in excellent care!

Overall prices here are insanely high and they’ll hold your dog(s) hostage from getting their medication(s) unless you fork over $$$$ every other month for a required test. Southlake prices on a Grapevine budget. Nice staff though.

Dr. Shipp is the best! She has been the veterinarian for my geriatric pups and now my puppy. She is incredibly compassionate when it comes to the tough decision we all eventually face as pet owners. She is also very understanding yet straightforward when it comes to a treatment plan. If you are looking for a clinic, who will care about your pet and treat them like family, Northwest Animal Hospital should be at the top of your list.

Excellent care for my Great Dane during scary heart worm treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Steinle and his staff of professionals.

We recommend NWAH, and have trusted Dr. Jason Steinle for many years with the needs of our fur family. He listens and addresses our concerns. Experienced, knowledgeable, deeply caring, and highly communicative are words we use to describe him and his team.

Dr Shipp was great! Very personable and truly had my puppy’s health her top priority to make sure she was taken care of.

This is my go to veterinarian for all my pets. The costs are very reasonable. They have an online Rx and will ship the prescription to the house. They now offer pet insurance which was 5 dollars less per month than their competitors.

In a panic I called late in the day on a Friday because my toddler of a Corgi decided to steal a tea bag without my realizing it until she ate all the leaves. The front desk receptionist answered my call by the second ring and she immediately took the info I gave her to the vet. The vet gave quick instructions to bring my girl in for treatment as the leaves contain caffeine which is toxic. We had my girl there in 15 minutes - ugh for rush hour traffic on a Friday - They immediately took her back and began treatment. Within 20 minutes I had a call from the vet saying they got her to reverse her doggy fortune and she gave back all the contents of her stomach which contained lots of tea leaves. My girl was safe from the toxic leaves! The quick work of everyone in the office from front desk to the techs to the vet saved my little stinkers life in record time! I am thankful and grateful for an awesome veterinary practice at Northwest Animal Hospital!

I am always please with the care and concern of the staff and doctor. They truly care about the well-being of my dogs. Unfortunately, in August, my female terrier had a reaction to the rabies shot causing neurological brain and muscular damage. It was no fault of the doctors. They have seen my fur baby 3 times since. I will continue to use Northwest Animal Hospital. Sincerely, Cathy

Northwest Animal Hospital has been wonderful to multiple generations of our dogs. While we love Dr. Steinle, all the doctors are great. Can’t imagine ever going anywhere else!

I've been taking my pets to Dr. Steinle for over 20 years. I appreciate that he listens to my concerns and provides me with what my pets really need. His staff is always courteous and welcoming. I trust Dr. Steinle with my pet's care 100%.

Dr Steinle and his staff are great to work with. He provided a thorough exam of our new puppy and spent plenty of time answering our questions and offering suggestions.

Yes, I have taken my Italian Greyhounds here, and now my French Bulldog Mason. Dr. Tomlinson is so patient with my questions and always good with my babies. I highly recommend him, and his staff is also very friendly.

Dr. Steinle and the entire staff are wonderful. We’ve been happy to call Northwest Animal Hospital our local vet for more than 20 years.

My pup and I had such an excellent first experience here. My dog is very timid and the gentle and caring staff made her feel so comfortable. It wasn't just an in-and-out-see-you-next-year interaction; Dr. Shipp took the time to answer all my questions and explain how to ensure my dog's continued health. I have already raved about Northwest Animal Hospital to my friends and family, and would recommend a visit for anyone who appreciates seeing others care for their pet as much as they do.

I loved Dr. Shipp, she was very kind, thoughtful and thorough. She took the time to let my shy dog warm up, and answered all of my questions thoroughly, respectfully and honestly. I can't recommend this practice enough!

Wonderful caring vets here . Dr. Jason Steinle has taken care of our last two Scotties since they were 8 weeks old. I love it when our vet kisses the dogs. ❤️

The staff are always friendly and helpful. I've been taking my labradoodle there for 3 years! I love that they have a groomer there so I can drop off my dog for a grooming and get a check up at the same time!

Upon entering the reception area, JuneBug and I were greeted with lovely aquarium = beautiful calming fish. Vet tech Nick was sooo good with JuneBug and able to distract her so as to ease her anxiety. Dr Steiner was understanding and reassuring of me. With Nick’s assistance, she was able to draw JuneBug’s blood while we remained in exam room. Thanks to all at Northwest Animal Hospital who made our initial visit a positive experience! 🐾

Dr. Steinle is very knowledgeable and always takes the time to answer my questions. Dr Steinle and his staff are very caring and do all they can to decrease my dog’s stress level during vaccinations. I highly recommend Northwest Animal Hospital.

Our pets have been patients of Northwest Animal Hospital for over 35 years and we would not trust any other veterinarian to take care of them. We’ve witnessed changes in personnel during this time but the quality, care, love and knowledge has never wavered. Dr S and staff are the best. Jozy was not the best patient 😂 but they took excellent care of him and we could not be more pleased.

I have been taking my pets to Northwest Animal Hospital for many, many years and love everyone there! They have shared the good times with me, but they have also walked through and provided comfort during awful times.

Dr. Steinle has cared for three dogs for us. He is caring, compassionate and personable. I would trust no one else to care for my pet. That said, we are retired and live on a fixed income, and the cost, even with senior discount, is sometimes a bit much.

I have moved around the metroplex, and I keep coming back. I trust Northwest Animal Hospital, even with the new vets, to provide quality care, good referrals for specialists (if needed), and discuss all options. I’ve never felt pressured to do extra procedures, bloodwork, etc. It’s such a relief to have people you trust and are comfortable bringing your four legged family members to!

The staff is professional, caring and efficient. Our sweet Mitzi was in the last stage of her life when we found our way here and she received the kindest most wonderful medical & compassionate care as though she had been their patient all her life. Saying goodbye to Mitzi was very hard but made easier by the compassion given by this team throughout the process. Afterward, we received a sympathy card and a donation was made to an animal charity by them in Mitzi's memory. Thank you to all at NW Animal Hospital. They are the best!

😠 DO NOT BRING YOUR BIRD HERE!!! I brought my Quaker parrot here after an accident that resulted in a badly broken leg. DR. 😠 I have to say.... I am incredibly disappointed by this clinic. I understand that dermatologists are in high demand in this area and there are not many options around here. However, this clinic needs to seriously reconsider the number of patients they are accepting. I called in May 2021 BEGGING for a...

😠 This poor excuse for a "Veterinarian specialist" clinic is an absolute disgrace! They could 'care' less about your pet. But they sure do 'care' when they want their cash register to ding.
